The deadbolt was completely broken so he took that out and replaced it, and was able to just rekey the bottom lock. From start to finish he was probably done in a half hour, and simple payment through credit card. I will definitely be keeping his number in case any other lock emergencies should arise! He explained that shaking them and moving slowly while holding the upper and lower part of the accordion shutter works best. The prices were reasonable and the value for service received was good. This lock was a replacement for a previously owned (10 years) Schlage. I changed those batteries every 2 years. I purchased the Encore in mid January 2025 and received a battery alert while out of town, the latter part of March. Not happy. Back to Nathan...He was punctual; actually early so he was waiting for me. Nathan assessed the situation and he was able to get me access to my home almost immediately! He swapped out my batteries, checked and cleaned the battery holder and then had me test it several times while locking and unlocking. Really bad experience and uncomfortable. Communication is horrible, I don't recommend him.

In May 2025 two of the fobs stopped working and the third only sometimes worked, so I took it to a GM dealership. GM's quote was $700 for one new OEM fob and strongly implied my current fobs weren't legit. I rejected their offer and picked up my car. I disassembled the fobs and compared the circuit boards and verified that Prestige had in fact sold me legit OEM fobs. I also tested the batteries with a multimeter but they were fully charged. Once back together all three fobs just started working again. I guess all they needed was a little cleaning.
