I called Joe at PBC Locksmith, and he said he could be there in a half hour! He showed up just on time, was super friendly and really knowledgeable! The deadbolt was completely broken so he took that out and replaced it, and was able to just rekey the bottom lock. From start to finish he was probably done in a half hour, and simple payment through credit card. I will definitely be keeping his number in case any other lock emergencies should arise! Considering that he answered my unasked questions all via his initial messages, I hired him. Basically, while I was out of town, the batteries in my Schlage Encore died. This lock was a replacement for a previously owned (10 years) Schlage. I changed those batteries every 2 years. I purchased the Encore in mid January 2025 and received a battery alert while out of town, the latter part of March. Not happy. Back to Nathan...He was punctual; actually early so he was waiting for me. Nathan assessed the situation and he was able to get me access to my home almost immediately! He swapped out my batteries, checked and cleaned the battery holder and then had me test it several times while locking and unlocking. While I have no idea what a locksmith charges, I appreciated the way Nathan replied so promptly and quickly addressed my problem. Three different technicians of Car Key Express could not get them to work in my three visits to Costco. I called All Day Locksmith. One of their locksmiths, Shaun Reed, got both key fobs, and a replacement (for the old key, to work in 20 minutes. He was very knowledgable, conscientious, and kind. The representative was not professional and very poor communication…read more He told me he was coming between 5-6pm, he didn't show up and I reached out to him and he said he wanted to come at 8:30-9pm Then he showed up the next morning, in a hurry and didn't complete part of the job and left all the pieces, mess on the floor. He literally spend half hour and he wanted to charge me $100 more than what he quoted . I declined to pay the extra $100 and he started taking the front door lock off. Really bad experience and uncomfortable. Communication is horrible, I don't recommend him.

I ended up changing the bottom lock as well as the top lock. I wanted a good quality lock. He installed the same lock that he uses at his property. Saving money is not number one when looking for good security. Then I paid him to fix the sliding glass doors. The owner also helped me with hurricane shutters that would not close. He explained that shaking them and moving slowly while holding the upper and lower part of the accordion shutter works best. The prices were reasonable and the value for service received was good. I will definitely use Angel Locksmith every time I need a locksmith now.
