I purchased a slightly used vehicle 6 months ago. Unfortunately, the previous owner did not leave the fob for keyless entry. Service R Us USA came to my home shortly after I contacted them. It did cost a bit ($300)since they had to program a brand new key, but I found this price to be comparable or cheaper than other companies. Fast forward 6 months (today).....the fob started to come apart and after multiple attempts of super glueing, I called Service R Us USA. They came out the next day and replaced the key for FREE!!! This company is not legit, they are an advertising company for locksmith sub contractors. I had the locksmith come to my vehicle after I gave him full detail of my issue and he explained in detail all the extensive work that he had to do and that was the reasoning for the fee. He got to my vehicle and nothing he stated he did and still charged me that astronomical fee. I asked for the information to the company he gives me a customer service number and when I called them just to file a complaint because at this time I know that a partial refund would not be honored even though the technician didn't do what he stated to me, the manager who answered began probing for information and would not let me file a complaint or even give me the information to contact the owner. He had no customer service and did not even try to ease my frustration. It's not like I was asking for a full refund because what is right is right and the contractor still deserves to get paid all I was asking was to be charged correctly not price gouged. So if you are looking for a locksmith these are not the people to use. No compassion, no customer service and definitely liars, glad I have all recorded from the initial call and the time frame from the start of the work as well as the time the card was charged. I never seek legal help but this company whoever they are need to stop taking advantage of people. read more
