I was actually staying at a local hotel for a night while my apt was going through repairs to de-stress (haha) and my key fob for my 2014 corolla FINALLY died. It'd been going for a while so it's my fault for ignoring it tbh. I called Lock Solutions, told them I was at the Garland in the parking lot (around noon i think) and had to check out at 3. Chris quoted me for a new key and fob over the phone, arrived not long after, AND brought the price down since my car can't get a new fob made. Gave me new keys, and gave my tires air so the stupid light would finally go off! He was a great dude, fast and prompt, and the exact opposite of shady in every way. Out of the 3 places I called, he was the only one to give me a quote on the phone, I want that to be clear lol. These guys Rock !!! I messed up my Audi's ECM trying to add a chipped key with a cheap key programmer I bought on Amazon . Towed it to dealership, diagnosed that I fried cars ECM computer. Friend referred Lock solutions, made appointment next day to come to my house with a $650 $1200 quote to repair ( dealer quoted $3k with no guarantee would work ) Rani came out , asked me few questions on what programmer I used etc . BINGO !!!!!! ECM was not Fried , it was locked up from me tryin to add keys into the cars computer. I'm out of the woods for $400 and Rani programmed me 2 extra keys . I purchased my Kia Soul used and it only came with one key (of course they didn't tell me till they pulled my car up once I'd signed the paperwork) so I wanted to have a backup key in case of an emergency. I purchased an OEM key off Amazon, then brought it to Lock Solutions to cut and program for me. They were by far the most affordable -- I'd priced vendors in LA *and* OC -- and they were really lovely to work with. If they come to you, it'll be more expensive so if you have the time and accessibility, hightail it to Van Nuys where they have a lovely, clean, air conditioned office you can wait in while they quickly get your new key ready! read more

A few days ago, my elderly mother misplaced the car keys. After calling the dealership, they told me that only the Mercedes dealership would be able to get us a new key. I called 3 different Mercedes dealerships and all of them gave different prices, all of which were outrageous, and all of the dealerships told me that it would take anywhere from 3 to 7 business days to get a new key! The car was parked in a towable parking spot, and had already received a parking violation, so I felt completely helpless, and was about to have my car towed to the dealership to get the new key. Thank God for a dear friend of the family, George from MBZ MOTORS told me not to take the car to the dealership and to call Lock Solutions, and I am so happy I did. After contacting their office and dealing with an amazing rep named Chris, I was quoted an exponentially lower price, than all of the dealerships that I had contacted! And just when I thought things couldn't get better, Lock Solutions, told me that they are a mobile service who comes to you therefore eliminating my need to tow the car to the dealership as well as be without a car for a minimum of 3 to 7 days. Shame on all of the Mercedes dealerships that tried to Bully my family and I into paying outrageous fees just because we were in a desperate situation. When you are in a jam because you have lost the keys to your car. No clue where they are and you are stuck on Lankershim Blvd. These guys are the ones to call. AAA came and attempted to tow the car. But the wheel was locked. Locksmith from them was quoted at a price I shocked. I took a chance with Yelp and found LockSolutions. Larry quoted me a very fair price. All was set. As I walked to the bank to get some cash. I get a text someone found my keys. GREAT. I called Locksolutions back and was able to cancel the service. I brought in a picture of my door handle that fell off the door, and was shown right away what needed to be done. Not sure the gentleman's name but he was so nice, gave me an allen wrench to try on my door to tighten it up , but asked that I bring it right back. I took it home, tightened what he said and sure enough, the handle no longer fell off. All fixed. I brought the wrench back and asked what sisze it was so I could go and purchase one at Ace or somewhere. He didnt know the size off hand and to my surprise, he gave it back to me and said to keep it. You dont find that kind of helpfulness every day! Thus far they've made keys for four of our vehicles, including motorcycles. In the past year, we purchased two used cars that only came with one key.
