Love the ahi salad T Localz bistro. Locally owned and operated, and in our neighborhood we love this place! The owner is wonderful and always comes by to say hello and make sure everything is just right. Highly recommend to out of towners as it's a little bit off the beaten path, and not nearly as busy as some of the other local restaurants. read more

This place is fine. The tables are a bit sticky, the servers are friendly but for the price the food just wasn't very good. It all felt like the kind of food you get at an expensive tourist trap. It was all edible, just not good. We really wanted to love this place because it's so convenient but for how expensive it ended up being we could have gone to Market Street, had their early bird prime rib and still spent less. Save your cash and head to Costa Vida if you're in the same parking lot and starving. read more

Service, food and ambiance are great. The staff are friendly and courteous. There have a varied menu to choose from.

Being local to Localz Bistro it took me long enough to try it out. Got the burger and loved it! Fries were done right and burger was big but not too big. Sat outside which really love with a incredible view of the mountains. Pricing is more than I'd like to pay and would probably prevent me from going regularly but will definitely keep in mind for special occasions. read more

Cool spot- good food if you like breaded dishes. I had the prime rib sandwich- I would not recommend. In my opinion, prime rib should be served rare and the prime rib on this sandwich comes well done and you aren't given a choice of how they can cook it. Also had the orange tomato soup which was pretty good. Place overall has a good vibe. read more

I am traveling and I found this place on Yelp. I was greeted with a warm welcome to a very clean and neat atmosphere. My servers name was Bryson, he was very knowledgeable of the menu and even gave me a quick backstory on how this family restaurant came to exist. The chicken was juicy and tender and the buns were very fresh. The truffle fries are to die for! 10/10 reccomend and I will be back whenever I'm in town! read more

Modesta is an incredible waitress! Food is incredible!! But I have to say, Modesta made our incredible meal even more incredible!!!! Everything we had was delicious!! From the salads, the pulled pork sandwich, the salmon salad, and the dessert!!!! Bread Pudding is incredible.... You won't regret coming. We've been here once before and the waitress was phenomenal as well!!!! My compliments to the waitresses and the chefs!!!!!! You won't regret coming here!!! read more

Waiter was great. Asked for medium Rare and it was medium well. Truffle fries We're really good. Iced tea isn't brewed fresh, it's Lipton from the Soda fountain, which isn't good. read more

Getting Fresh seafood is SO difficult if your not by the coast. I was in town visiting, and used YELP to find a place close to my hotel with good reviews. Overall, the food was good. This isn't Boston or LA, so the seafood isn't anything to rave about, however for Utah cuisine, it was good. Would I go back if visiting the area again, most likely. read more

Localz is a unique find. We've loved the delicious food, impeccable service, and the friendly atmosphere. Each time we visit, we find something new and exciting to try. We love the variety of food that's offered. Localz is a wonderful place to eat! read more

Almost everything I ate was "the best ever". That Ceviche will keep me coming back. I think the debate for best chicken sandwich was settled tonight too. Very good! read more

Had the jambalaya and it completely transported me back to NOLA, so so good, and authentic! BBQ shrimp appetizer was fabulous, as was the shrimp & grits. Great food, great staff! read more

Has really gone down hill. Gumbo was a bowl of rice with a couple pieces of sausage. When I told the server she brought back a second bowl of the same. The poutine fries were cold and the cheese was not melted. Just very cold curds. So disappointed that this place that I once loved has gone downhill. read more

Ordered food for takeout, visiting the area. From the initial call to pickup, each person we came into contact with was helpful and friendly. The food portions, presentations and overall quality/taste was the best takeout experience I've had since pre-pandemic. Happy with everything we ordered/tasted - Frites, Curds, Caesar Salad, Kid's Macaroni, Buffalo Wings, Tuna Crudo Salad, Grilled Mahi & Beef Stroganoff. read more

The food was very good, not your standard fare. The red beans and rice soup was pretty salty but otherwise loved it, as well as the steak sandwich and vegan sandwich. Server was very attentive and friendly. Only issue was waiting a very long time for the food to arrive. read more

I ordered the SEARED TUNA MELT and I wasn't impressed. I've never seen or had orange fontina cheeses that tastes like cheddar cheese. Maybe it was an exotic import. The menu states the sandwich includes bacon and there was no bacon. The white bread it was served on was soaked with butter. I love butter but didn't order a grilled cheese sandwich without tuna and bacon. The tuna was cooked properly but was an extremely thin and bland. The butter and fontina cheese over powdered the sandwich and it was greasy. I got a house salad as the side and it was very fresh and tasty. I was with a group of coworkers and went at 2:00 in the afternoon the server wasn't the friendliest. The food came out slowly. I was considering giving a 2 star rating but changed my mind based on how much my coworkers liked their meal. On the bright side everyone else was happy with their scrumptious looking meals. read more

Food was overpriced. I got the prime rib roll, which they served like a French dip, but the whole thing just fell apart as soon as I picked it up, not to mention trying to dunk it in the sauce. The truffle fries were pretty much soggy. The service and ambience were alright, but not really noteworthy. read more

Food was ok, service was good, but it was very loud. Probably won't return. Buffalo Chicken Wrap, fish and chips

This place was delicious! I went with friends for drinks. We had poutine, pistachio ice cream, and cheese cake. They had a good beer and wine selection. They have a nice patio that would be great in spring and summer. The wait staff was very friendly and the decor was comfortable and makes you feel like you are hanging out with friends on your back patio. Great restaurant for any time of day! read more

Amazing food and service! Get the truffle fries!! My family loves to eat here any chance we get.

THIS IS A RESTAURANT NOT TO BE MISSED!!!!! Having been a part of the restaurant/food business the better part of forty years in NYC and the San Francisco Bay Area , I rarely post reviews for restaurants because they Include sad tales of valiant attempts that don't succeed. I have high standards for good food and service without being a snob or unreasonable. That said, I drove 35 minutes out of my way on a visit to Ogden UT to try Localz Bistro based on their Yelp reviews. We had three dishes that were inspired by their fabulous chef from New Orleans --BBQ Shrimp and Grits---truly a perfect dish containing the best grits I have eaten in my entire life which were surrounded by a sultry and tantalizing red sauce topped with perfectly seasoned and cooked shrimp. A home run of a dish and a definite 10. My son and I split a Shrimp Po Boy and a Fried Chicken Sandwich. Both were impeccably prepared and served hot from the kitchen. The chicken sandwich had a slaw on it that possessed the right amount of heat and crunch to partner with a perfectly cooked piece of battered chicken breast, all served on a soft and freshly baked brioche bun....Add an aioli conjured from heaven that is served on the side, and be prepared to enjoy something so delicious you will be planning your next visit before your last bite. Eating this meal was a culinary experience of sheer joy. Everyone who works there has great energy and you feel as if you've come home after being away for a long time. Such a welcoming place . I wish my family could cook like this!! I wish this restaurant were a few blocks from my home. read more

Total surprise for a stripmall joint. Extremely friendly wait staff and bartender coupled with some impressive creole dishes. We had the BBQ shrimp and grits as well as the traditional Southern shrimp and grits. Both were excellent and this is coming from a genuine tar heel. Give it a shot! Saturday night was pretty busy, but we were there at 6:45 and seated by 7:30 or so. read more

Best hotdog of my life. No exaggeration, no hyperbole. Sooooooo good. And Kellen our server was beyond friendly. Can't wait to go back

Always enjoy Localz. Great service and food. My husband loved the Shrimp and Grits. My burger was great but really big. I couldn't even finish half of it. The fries were amazing! read more

We had a great dinner here last night with just some minor hiccups that were quickly resolved. We were seated and brought water quickly. Other tables on all sides of us seated after started being served, not a big deal just a miscommunication that was quickly resolved. Appetizer came with food, again not a huge inconvenience just unique. It worked out because shrimp & grits came with peppers that I asked not to include so the quickly remade the dish. Super small mistakes but the food was amazing...poutine was a great app and the fried chicken was no knife needed deliciousness. We will be back to try other menu items. read more

All the food we got was great and really fresh. The chicken Caesar wrap was my favorite along with the ceviche.

Best fish tacos I have ever had! Excellent service. Enjoyed my lunch with a friend very much.

Relatively narrow menu, but the food is delicious! Nice outdoor seating, prices are reasonable, and the staff are super nice. We go on a regular basis. Be sure to try the truffle fries! read more

What a great spot! We came here while on vacation, and we ended up eating here twice. Fresh food with delicious flavors for kids and adults. We chatted with the owner, who is very kind and fun, and the service was excellent. I had the seared tuna salad and the salmon salad. Chicken sandwich was great, too. Don't miss the truffle fries! I wish we had this restaurant in Denver! read more

This was so delicious! The service was spectacular. Great ambiance. The iced tea was great. My boyfriend said his beer was tasty and cold. Our meals were oh so wonderful!! We didn't wait too long for them. I got the salmon salad. I got mustard instead of the dressing. Weird, I know, but they were accommodating. Probably one of the best meals I have ever had. I loved it! My boyfriend got the chicken and greens (and potatoes). He adored it. The chicken was hot and crispy, great flavor! The potatoes were quite heavenly, also! If you're looking for a comforting meal, this is your ticket! I for sure recommend coming here! read more

Everything I've tried here is great. The blackened ahi with cheese & green chili grits is probably my favorite so far - jam packed with flavor and extremely filling! The chicken sandwich is fried perfectly and the aioli on it is equally amazing. Also, the bread pudding is AMAZING! Big fan of this place and really happy to live right next to it. read more

Every single time I go here, service and food are above and beyond! I was starving and very appreciative that our food came out quick. My daughter ordered the kids steak and fries. The steak was delicious! I had to keep stealing bites. It was cooked perfectly and so juicy and flavorful. So impressed that this is a kids meal. My husband got the bbq shrimp and grits. I swear, I looked away for two seconds and he had finished the whole thing off. He probably would have licked the plate if other people wouldn't have been around . I got the Cajun alfredo and it was amazing! Fresh pasta and not too spicy! Also got the bbq shrimp and Ceasar salad for an appetizer. Like I said, food came out quick, our server checked on us many times throughout our dinner. There were multiple people helping bring our food, clear our table and check on us! Always love when everyone can work as a team. If you haven't been here, do yourself a favor and go ASAP! Pictures taken after we started eating, like I said, I was starving (and I couldn't get a picture I'd the shrimp and grits because it was gone in two seconds). read more

Ok I didn't expect a full bar or the amount of options for food! It was pretty legit. The best part was the customer service everyone and I do mean everyone like 3 bartenders and our waiter were saying Merry Christmas and thanked us for coming. Very warm atmosphere. The only reason I'm taking a star off was for the prices, burger entrees are pretty fair, the appetizers though pretty over priced same price as getting a meal. My husband ordered their chicken pasta and it was ok, the amount was small. I would suggest if you're hungry then go ahead a get the appetizer too. The beer available was great! I had the lemonade cider by a Colorado brewery fair priced and amazing. Me and my hubby will be back! read more

Ok this place is a little hidden or maybe not so hidden gem!!! We looked at the reviews and menu and decided to give it a try!! Not disappointed! My husband is def considered a "foodie" he loved everything we tried!!! Loved the patio seating!!! The Buffalo chicken wrap and Cajun chicken pasta was so good! We loved the BBQ shrimp too. So many good things! We ended with the bread pudding- my only complaint was my stomach wasn't big enough to try one of everything! Soo yummy! read more
