From Humdinger to Antigua to Kelsey See (iykyk), they have an awesome selection of the best of the best! We stopped by after a day of brewery hopping and were so surprised to see many of the places we just tried on tap! The staff are super cool and the vibes of the place are even cooler! Definitely a "locals taproom". Everyone in the bar but us knew each other. Good selection of beer with 12 taps. 3 taps out due to supply but it may have been the end of their week. A couple of wines and seltzers as well. About a block off the beach so not the best view. No food but welcome to bring your own. Very dog friendly!! If in Avila and like local craft beer this is a great stop. I wouldn't drive to Avila to go though unless you're going to the town for the day. read more

This place took over where Libertine Pub was in Avila Beach. The ambience is a lot brighter, livelier, and beers and wine are all local. They have beers that are not usually distributed. Which is a nice change of pace. If you want a snack they have chips for sale or you can bring in external food. Great job to Molly and Austin!! You all rock and so happy you two now own the place. If you haven't stopped in, you are missing out. Come by, grab a beer or wine and become a regular. Will probably see you at the bar in the near future. read more

We stopped by for a couple of stouts. Great atmosphere, and we loved the library of albums. Mollie was great and played the Rumours album by Fleetwood Mac for us. Loved the experience, and as locals will be back again. read more

Awesome bar, great environment super nice people. They have a record player and you can pick out records for them to play. There's a selection of all local beers, a cider and a seltzer on tap, plus local wine selections so there's something for everyone. They are true to the local name! You can bring in whatever food you want and mission pizza is right across the street. Love this place 5 stars for sure! read more

My husband, 7 year old daughter and I drove down to Avila beach for the day. My husband wanted to get a quick beer so we stopped at this bar. There was a few people in there. It was during the day. We were going to sit at the outside table and just as we were going to sit down the guy that was working there came out and told us that we couldn't be there because of our daughter and that his license doesn't allow for children. We were fine with that and walked across the street to a winery establishment. I sat at the table there while my husband went inside to order his beer and noticed that a white couple with three kids all under five proceeded to seat themselves at the same place that we were told we had to leave from. I watched to see if the guy was going to make them leave just as he did us. Nope he didn't, the man with the kids came out with two beers and sat next to his wife and three kids. My husband walked over and asked him about it and his excuse was that the couple had come by yesterday and he told them they had to leave yesterday but they still came back. Make it make sense if you're going to lie. I'd say it was because we were Hispanic. Everyone in there was white, no disrespect to white people just pointing it out. If you're going to have a drink I recommend the establishment across the street called Avila Wine and roasting, the owners name is Manny, really nice guy and welcomes anyone. As for this place I'd keep walking. I will never recommend anyone to this place. I have never been so disrespected like that in my life. I added a picture so you could see the couple with their kids and the establishment and location street signs to stay away from. Molly, in response to your comment, please tell your husband that I observed from across the street the man ordering inside carrying his child on his hip. I watched like a hawk because I wanted to see if he was going to make him leave but he didn't. Please do better in the future and know that being dishonest isn't the best policy. read more

I redownloaded Yelp just to write a review because this place is beyond a 5 star experience. Have you heard of the television show "Cheers?" If you haven't I would also highly recommend a watch. Anyway I'm getting sidetracked. This place feels like what Cheers evokes. Seriously everyone here is your friend, the locals and regulars are playing games, laughing and always welcoming. You can pick out your own record play (their collection is awesome and growing), Each beer carefully picked out from local breweries. The owners clearly care about the place and will welcome you in with a warm wave and smile. It's just good vibes, and it is truly a local taproom. read more

After a long day at the beach I stopped by for some cold beers and immediately felt at home and like one of the locals. The owners were a friendly young couple who chatted with us and some of the regulars. Lots of options for local beers and they even let me pick out a record to play! read more
