WineSneak is located in a business complex, hidden from Broad Street. WineSneak is like Bevmo or the like type of store that has a bar. You can drink a glass a wine for $8 or also grab a beer here and you can also purchase a bottle of wine here. If you want to drink that bottle of wine here, there is a $10 corkage fee. There is a different selection of wine and beer that is available to try by the glass. But if there is not a type of wine that you want to try that isn't from the selection, you can find a bottle that is in the store and have them open the bottle and pour you a glass. My husband and I came here on a Friday night, around 7 pm. We ended up getting a glass of wine each ($8 per glass, prior to tax), which came out to $17.24 after tax. My husband ended up getting a glass of a red wine and I ended up getting a glass of a dessert wine. I am not much of a wine drinker and currently only like dessert wines, sangria and some rose. The dessert wine I had (a moscoto) was great and learned that this particular wine is made in Oregon. If this place did not exist, I would not have had the winery of the dessert wine I had on my radar. It is nice that you can try any bottle of wine or beer in house and just pay for a glass instead of getting stuck with a whole bottle of something that you may not like (that has happened to me on numerous of occasions and had hoped that a particular bottle would be good but ended up being rather a disappointment). WineSneak does has a small selection, in comparison as BevMo, but there are still quite a good selection of alcohol and most likely you will find something you will like. The 2 employees working the bar where we were sitting were friendly and engaged with us in conversation. This place has a nice welcoming atmosphere. Great place and would come back here. But it is too bad that this place is not dog friendly.

I died and went to heaven!!!! First off, who doesn't want to get in sneak mode and go to this place? I've been waiting for Wine Sneak to open up since I first heard it was coming to SLO back in November. Tonight was the night! Booooooyaaaa! I felt like I was bellied up at this bar with Santa serving wine! You literally can ask for anything and they will open it with a huge smile, pour you a little taste and not even get uptight if you don't like it! I happened to love everything i tried...I know, SHOCKER! (Giggle) Anyhow, I discovered an awesome Pinot Noir Blanc. Only because the awesome lady Mary behind the bar knew I loved Albariño and suggested I try the PNB! Wow!!! I'm seriously making this my new Friday night weekday wine-down! New term for wind-down! If you're waiting for practice to finish, a flight at the SLO airport or just looking for a cool place to hang, look no further, come to the Wine Sneak! You'll be stoked you did!

El Lugar Pinot just for fun!

What a perfect place to taste and buy wine! We stubbled upon WineSneak after driving back from the wineries and were surprised to find such a vast selection of great wines. Their wine bar has amazing flight options for only $15. They have an amazing deal that lets visitors try a glass of wine from any bottle they want. You can ask for a glass from the nicest of wines and the open bottle goes into the wine fridge for tasting. They also have a great selection of cheese and meats for a little snack while tasting. We had the opportunity to helped by Mary, a great local wine maker that makes some amazing reds. We also got to meet the owner, Ash, who was so friendly and helpful. We'll be stopping by every time we're in town.

Will happily come back here with friends so they can enjoy!

The grounds are amazing and the best part was seeing a ton of peacocks roaming around. Unfortunately, on my visit none of them were fanning their feathers. Hopefully next time! They also have an Air BnB on site that you can stay at. It looked really nice! There's plenty of seating in the courtyard area and you're allowed to bring your own food. We just came for a flight tasting, which is only $20 here. The nice part about the flight is that you also have the option to try ciders. They give you casino like chips here to use for each tasting. Great way to keep track! The reason for the three star rating is the lack of customer service. When I go to a winery, I expect the person pouring the wine to explain each one that I'm tasting. There was no explanation at all. Maybe I should of asked, but it was odd for a winery not to do that. The gentleman that poured didn't look too happy to be there either. I cringed each time I had to walk up to get my next pour. He barely said two words to me and I just got the feeling he was mad or upset about something. I wish I would have gotten his name! The girl that helped in the beginning was kind, but she also never explained each pour. Just a weird interaction overall. Would I return here? Yes! I loved the grounds and the peacocks. The wine was decent and I would like to try the ciders next time, but I'll probably go inside the store where they were also pouring wines. Hopefully they know what they're doing! Overall, a great spot to check out and next time I will make it a point to ask for a description of each pour even though I shouldn't have to.

Duncan Alley is an industrial style neighborhood with multiple wineries, a cider place, a cafe and more. We went on a Saturday and there were also food trucks throughout the alley. It almost had a block party vibe. Rhônedonnée is positioned at the corner of the neighborhood along a creek with a back patio that sits privately off of the building. The tasting room is modern, stylish, and comfortable and has a large glass window that looks into the adjacent winery where we could see the winemaking equipment and barrels of wine. During harvest you'd be able to watch the winemaker working with the grapes. More important than any of that are the wines! What I really loved is that you can tell the winemaker is passionate about wine just by the varietals he uses. We didn't have the typical Chardonnay and Pinot Noir that you come to expect in this region (although we love them as well). Winemaker and owner Aaron makes what he loves to drink. I really love to find a beautiful white wine and was so pleased to try both of the Trailside wines- a Roussanne and a Rosé of Grenache. My husband likes red wines, especially Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Syrah, and loved Trail Secret. As a bonus, the labels are beautiful and each have a great story behind them which make them great conversation pieces and gifts. Our host Kiki owns the winery with her husband Aaron and she is very knowledgeable about wines and led us through a beautiful tasting flight. The atmosphere in the tasting room is relaxed and polished. We are looking forward to returning with friends to purchase bottles to enjoy on their patio and we highly recommend that you check them out too!
