This review is for the new location in old orcutt! The service is quick and friendly. There are a variety of beers to choose from and the ambiance is pretty good. It's a little tight in there and can get loud but it's not terrible. I think if they add a couple more tvs, this would be a great place to go watch a game. Midnight Munich- I believe this was a stout and it was great. Smooth and not too in your face like a lot of stouts tend to be. Price is average to other places so no complaints there. Overall this was a good little spot to stop by and hang out for a little bit, there is no AC and the heat does stay a bit so dress appropriately for the summer heat

Little Brody loves good beer and great music at Liquid Gravity.

Love the live vibe here. Live vs music great beer and local peeps. Today their was plenty of parking for everyone.

Stopped by yesterday making the trek back from the Firestone Walker Invite. Have been buying Liquid Gravity cans locally for quite a while now and knew it was a must stop if we had the chance. The patio area out back was great with all the openness and nice breeze. Looking forward to stopping back in the future

What a great vibe. I came by on a Thursday as part of my brewpub crawl. Place was lively and it looked like everybody (including staff) was having a great time. Beer was very good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Busy but didn't feel busy. Nice outside patio. Cool merchandise. I like this place. Beer: 4.5 Service: 4.5 Ambiance: 4.5 Value: 3.75

I came to town for a race and left with a bunch of delicious to go beer.

Really great beer, amazing outside patio area with some cool fire places in a few spots, and a nice indoor bar. An absolutely must visit brewery if you're visiting San Luis Obispo. My reason why I liked Liquid Gravity Brewing so much is the beer they make really stood out to me. I always like checking out breweries when I'm visiting a town. Granted I enjoy a majority of the breweries I visit I never really have a beer that stands out enough for me to get some to take home. Here I ended up leaving with four different beers to go. I had one sip of the Orange Cream machine double hazy and instantly knew I had to bring this back to LA for my friends to try. Im a big fan of Hazy IPAs and the variety they have here are top notch. While I was putting my order of to go beers together I got to talking to one of the bartenders and she told me about the breweries history and the beer making process. I ended up tasting a few more beers and found out they make some pretty good American IPAs with solid flavor and none of the extra super bitter taste at the end. My next visit up to the central coast I'll make sure to stop by here again.

Liquid Gravity is by far one of the best brewery's located here in the Central Coast. My recommendations are both Hazy IPA's, Miami Heist and Orange Cream Machine.

Great beer, great location, legitimate swag, this is a place to go when you need a beer n chill session.

Crispy Life Pilsner.. fresh, clean kind of beer!

I do like trying out the breweries in California! There are many of them and each one has a lot to offer! Liquid Gravity is another brewery from California that I have tried recently that I enjoyed! From this brewery I had two different beers from Liquid Gravity, both very enjoyable! The two I had seem to be popular beers for this brewery! First one up is their West Coast IPA. Not a bad beer at all but when it comes to coast styles with IPA'S I realized I like the east coast ones just a bit. This IPA has some nice hoppy flavor to it and the typical signature style you get with the west coast IPA. The second one I liked quite a bit more and found it very enjoyable! The Crispy Life Pilsner was the next beer we had from Liquid Gravity. All the clean, crisp with hint of biscuity flavor was there with this good pilsner. Very easy to drink and to kick back and relax to. All in all very solid beers from Liquid Gravity and that's experiences I'm looking for!

Great place and great beer, that's really all you need to know. Great outdoor space to enjoy the beautiful SLO weather. The live music or DJs are a lot of fun. We've been here a few times and it hasn't disappointed yet. No matter what your personal preference for beer style is, they should have you covered. A great range of anything from sours to stouts. I look forward to going back again soon. Orange cream machine is my new favorite.

    Does this trip you out?

My friends and I stopped here for a post work drink and really loved the ambiance in addition to the beer. The signs made us smile and the food was good. We tried tacos and many drinks. I'll quick notes the ones we all shared: miami heist (more hops than the easter bunny and good) , kiwi strawberry ipa (i normally Don't care for IPAs but loved it), POG (sweet/sour) , tropica sour (fruity/sour and dangerously up my alley) , hefeweizen (mild and sweet making it so easy to drink all night) , and the orange cream machine (was intrigued by the name definitely tasted like an orange dreamsicle, was decent).

    Live music on patio

Definitely one of the best breweries in SLO. The tasting room has seating inside and on the large outside patio. I was here on a Sunday and the pints were $5 and they had live music. All of the beers I tried were excellent. My favorite was the Miami Heist hazy IPA.

We were so pleasantly surprised by this place! We came for the Yelp event and decided to buy some of their beers without even trying them. Due to Covid, you could only buy beers to go... they had cans available for purchase as well as growlers. We were hesitant at first to purchase beer that we've never tried before, but decided to go for it! And, seriously, totally glad we did! I got a growler of the strawberry kiwi ipa.... wow!!! Just opened it tonight and it's damn delicious!!!! We also got a couple cans of the orange kush ipa which was also so yummy!! They do have this awesome outdoor patio that I wish we could've sat out and enjoyed a beer.... but hopefully soon! You should definitely check this micro brew place out if you are in the area!

Stuck is Orbit was our fav!

Loved the beer and atmosphere. Our pourer was fabulous and I loved sitting there chatting with her when getting more beers. If in SLO - this is a MUST VISIT! Thank you

We arrived at 6:30 pm, which was a good time since the food and drink lines grew from 6:50 pm onwards. I recommend heading out 10 minutes early in case you get lost. Our rideshare drove past the alleyway entrance twice lol. They didn't see the small printed sign for Bang The Drum Brewery on the metal fence. Go down the alley and turn left, following the signs for Bang the Drum at Suite 160 (not 130). Then, walk up the ramp towards the foresty tree area; there will be another sign for the brewery. We saw an outdoor patio and several indoor tables with names printed on them for trivia night. No one checked our tickets, but the staff we interacted with were nice. Walk-ins for trivia night can claim any unmarked table. Luckily, our table was far back so I didn't need to use my ear plugs. It would have been too loud for me if we were next to the speakers. I enjoyed the event and didn't have problems with the logistics. My only complaint would be that questions were much harder than I thought. Many references were geared towards the older millennial generation. DRINKS ORDERED - Pinot Noir ($12 - Stephen Ross). It was good. Normally I don't like dry wines, but I appreciated the light body without tannins. The wine had dark cherry notes. - Rose ($10). It was just okay; I preferred the pinot over this. - Kelsey Blood Orange Cider ($9). It had a good balance of fruit and bitterness with a savory taste. The cider was dryer than I expected, but I enjoyed it more than the other one. - Kelsey Pineapple Cider ($9). It was just ok. I didn't taste the pineapple, but it was slightly sweeter than the blood orange. My bf seemed to enjoy his Lucky Day IPA ($8) and also went for the pinot. FOOD ORDERED - Soft Pretzel with Beer Cheese ($6.50). Chewy pretzel with a dark crust and big sprinkles of salt (but not too salty). The beer cheese tasted great; we ate it all up! - Spicy Veggie Curry Pot Pie ($10). The pie was ultra flaky and soft. I enjoyed the mild curry filling inside. Delicious! DESSERT ORDERED - Blueberry Mascarpone Pie ($5.50). It tasted alright. The blueberries were not so flavorful, and neither was the mascarpone cheese. There was too much moisture in the filling. While parts of the crust managed to stay crumbly, it also lacked flavor.

All three different items we ordered were a bit bland and we had to rely on condiments to add some flavor. The draft beers were what you would expect nothing special to note, but nothing negative to say either. The service was good, and I appreciated that the gentleman suggested getting a combo. He could've easily said nothing and let us overpay for items that qualified for combo pricing. The pool tables were fun, but unfortunately one of them (the one nearest the window) was not functioning properly, which was disappointing. Overall, with a little improvement such as better seasoning on the food and repairing the billiards table this place would earn five stars. This was not my first time here, and I've had a better experience in the past, but I will still give it another shot next time I'm in town since it has a chill vibe and I know it's been better in the past.
