Loved the location in an open space marketplace with a ton of local eateries nearby. They don't serve any food themselves here. I always stop by the bottlecraft locations to check out their draft board and can selections if I am travelling nearby. Ended up grabbing a couple of expensive stouts to go, and we shared a can while there. Guy who was working wasn't super into making small talk or being veey friendly would have been my only knock on the experience. read more

Such a cool place. Ethan was super personable and helped me find a perfect beer to pair with my chicken sandwich. Place has a great selection and also cocktails on tap. The old fashioned was great. Definitely coming back. read more

We love the unique selection at Bottlecraft...actually, it's more like a love-hate thing. I LOVE some of the unique beers so much but I hate that I have to drive 3 hours to go get it cause I can't get it anywhere else! Haha TOTALLY joking, Bottlecraft! In all seriousness, the selection on tap and in their shop is so unique; I had never heard of 99% of these beers and breweries. The location is great too - it's in the middle of the SLO Public Market so you can grab food from any of the vendors and eat/drink/be merry. This location is kid friendly and dog friendly with plenty of seating. It's a must-stop every time we are in town. read more

Ethan was great I'll definitely be back! Customer service top notch! Lots of great options read more

Counter service was excellent and friendly. Beer selection second to none in the immediate area and kept cold in refrigerated containers.

This place has a huge variety of alcohol with over 20 options on tap (beers, wine, and seltzer). A thing I really appreciated was that for each tap option, you can pick 4 oz, 8 oz, or 16 oz (some may vary). It allowed us to try multiple beers, since a lot of options sounded good. If you can't find a drink you like on tap, they have a big selection of bottled/canned drinks as well. Last, but not least, there are even a few options for non-alcoholic drinks in the fridge behind the counter. At the time of my visit, those options were pilsners, lagers and IPA. No matter your preference, you really can't go wrong by swinging by Bottlecraft for a drink! read more

May/10/2026 I came in here looking for a pint, a good chune, maybe even a couple of honeys. When I walked up to register to order a pint, He assured me that the largest size that had was 8oz. I'm not Tony stark, but last i checked a pint is not 8oz. He then proceeded to to sell me a beer that was a blonde ale but a twist of "sour".It was a hot day, I really needed this pint as soon it touched my lips, I cowards back in pure disgust. Guys, when he said sour i thought he meant 2 day old milk. No this shit was sour. fuck you where you breath, if i wanted something sour, I would of turned on fox news read more

Best place to hang at the SLO public market. Great rotating tap list where they source up and down CA, PacNW, and out to the East Coast. Carry fantastic can/bottle selection as well in their fridge to the right of register. Breweries such as Trillium, Sante Adarius, North Park, riip, Russian River, Humble Sea, Alvarado Street, Maine Brewing Co, Great Notion, and many others. Shoutout to their staff and especially Jeff for being extremely friendly and always holding it down. Love dropping in when I can. read more

Huge beer list. Lots of hoppy stuff but also several other styles including sours. There's a physical bar but most people seem to sit at the tables which include patrons from the rest of the public market. So you might have kids having ice cream, parents with strollers, construction workers on lunch, etc -- people not having beer. read more

Of course beer is the perfect accompaniment to pizza, so we strolled over to Bottlecraft after ordering our wood fire baked pizza from Terracella Pizzaria in the new SLO Public Market. I was confused at first, looking at flavors like Chocolate Coconut Candy, Banana Nut Muffin, Tart Raspberry, and Grapefruit Hibiscus Heather. Had I taken a wrong turn and wound up at the ice cream place? But no, it turns out that the first two are beers, and the second two are Kombucha with a light alcohol content (under 10%). My buddy selected a Calidad beer with a Mexican flair, and I went for a split of La Mara Prosecco, Italian wine with Italian Pizza! Great bargain for the La Marca, it cost less than at World Market! We retired to the outdoor patio tables at the side of the building, where you can enjoy your drinks al fresco! It was the perfect sunny day to enjoy the drinks outside, but they do have an indoor bars with TVs, or you can relax at the indoor dining area. read more

Local Take: Easy going eclectic Pub in SLO Public Market. If you are in the mood for a nice drink to go with your Bao, Curry, Speck Sandwich, Vegan Eats or even with Buffalo Ice Cream, Bottlecraft has you covered. They seem to have it all & even have two TVs in the back as well. They occupy the central area in this food court, and adding a glass of Cider to compliment my Mushroom Bao Buns & Thai Curry was a great idea. They have a full range of drinks on tap, as well as, bottled beer & wine. As far as, on tap, they had: Wine, Seltzer, Cider, Kombucha, & various beers, such as Stout, Sour, Citrus, Lager, Pilsner, & more. Very pleasant relaxed atmosphere, pleasant service, and nothing like a noisy sports bar. This is upscale drinking & eating for sure. Likely the nicest Food Court Bar I have seen almost anywhere. You can easily start or end your food court experience here...as well as, even in the middle. Who needs H2O? read more

Bottlecraft is a spot in the great new SLO public market. They have 32 beers, wines and seltzers on tap and an amazing bottle shop with cans and bottles of everything you can't find elsewhere in slo. The bartenders are all amazing too! Jeff has an awesome hipster stache. Graham is a food and bev connoisseur. And Sean is a the typical jolly bartender you could only find on the set of cheers. Pair it with any of the great vendors in the market hall! read more

Came by at 11:15am on Saturday, the bar tender was counting the drawer and it looked like things weren't open yet. I politely asked 'hi! What time do you open?'. The bartender didn't even look up at me or acknowledge me, and instead muttered 'when I'm done counting this drawer.' It just didn't feel super polite or welcoming. I also work in the service industry and feel that it's important to greet customers politely and with respect. I'll try again in a few weeks, bus super disappointed with this experience. read more

A great array of beers! Lots of IPAs, sours, standard wheats, and even some wines! While the ambiance isn't incredible (SLO Public Market) the service and quality was awesome. Keep it up! read more
