Great local place. Large craft beer selections. Really good food. Love the brunch. New to neighborhood and this is one of our favorites already. read more

The food is good, the beer list is interesting. Our server had too many tables to serve and there were significant errors - the worst was that one of our party did not get his dinner until long after everyone else was finished. There was no explanation and a minimal apology. The entree comped but not the Diet Coke. Have I mentioned that service was also extremely slow. read more

A very good gastropub serving some delicious classic pub fare with a touch of sophistication. In town for a visit with my daughter and it was a last minute pick. It's a small restaurant when the weather doesn't allow for the large patio to be used, so it was quite a wait for a table. Glad we waited because the food looked great. There was a party downstairs and well as you quickly discover it's home for Patriots fans who get there early and pretty much stay there all night, so few tables are turned over. I don't like the Patriots but you have to respect greatness. It does however seem turn off quite a few guests. We got the dry rub barbecue and Mexicali wings to start. These were some great wings with some unique spices in their dry rub. I would have been fine with just ordering a bunch of their wings and enjoying the great selection of canned craft beers. They do have bottles and more than a few craft beers on tap. The selection of wines and cocktails are typical. The pizza's and burgers are very good. The burgers were well seasoned and cooked perfectly and the pizza's crust was stellar. It doesn't get a 5 star because the staff while reasonably friendly performed their service in a perfunctory manner. There seemed to be more than enough staff to handle the guests given the restaurant is quite small, but service was slow and other than the initial service of drinks they didn't come back for refills. Great gastro pub fare, could be better with the service. read more

Gotta drop them a star after getting overcharged. My bill should have been $16.50, but arrived at $19.50. Yeah it was only $3, but that's an 18% increase. Got charged double for Ranch I didn't want and didn't order. Also charged $2 instead of $1(as menu said) for Onion Ring upgrade. I know this place is new, and it could be growing pains, but you have to sync your menu and your ordering system, unless it was intentional, and then you have bigger problems. I'm not writing them off, but I'm less enthusiastic than I was. And it's across the street from a brewery. read more

I really like this place. They have great happy hour deals until 7p, which is about an hour later than anyone else. We were there on a Tuesday and the special of the night was any burger, with fries for $6.99!! You can't beat that. The burger was amazing and their fries are very unique, light and puffy, so good. I love the reuse of the old post office building. Our sever was super friendly as well. We'll be back. read more

The waitress and atmosphere was nice and inviting. However, we sat at a table where the water from the air conditioning unit dripped on my date. We mentioned this to the hostess near the end of our meal and he said he wished they would do something about it. Nothing was said about how it may have impacted our experience. Also, the burger was supposed to have challah bread as the bun for the burger but the inside was white instead of yellow and it wasn't as sweet as challah bread. Finally, many of the beers, 3 of them, that I wanted to order were all tapped at 6 pm which was disappointing. I wanted to like it, but it was very underwhelming to say the least. read more

Everything was awesome. We tried the wings, burger, fries, sandwich and chips and everything was fresh and tasty. They source local so another plus! Street parking and they have an outside patio. read more

Great little spot. You would drive right past it if you didn't know. Right next Streetside Brewery, and you can order food and bring over to the brewery. Pizza and burgers were great with their beers! Upstairs, downstairs, and a nice little patio! Came here for pizza week and they did a heck of a job creating this ZA. Such a different combination, but worked! read more

A great Friday evening spot with great food and drinks. The pizza is a great choice with the fried pickles.

Honestly, Local Post has my favorite bar food in the city. The Postmaster Grilled Cheese and the G.O.A.T. burger are fantastic. The servers are awesome and the atmosphere is great. read more

This is your basic neighborhood hangout, with kid-friendly offerings and a few more offbeat items to keep it interesting for the adults. The upstairs dining area and bar are clean and well-lit, with about 80 seats. The basement can accommodate events. While we were there, a wedding reception was going on down there. Pizza seems to be the most popular offering, but we weren't in the mood. We sampled fried pickles and a couple of sandwiches. They offer some items as salads or rollups, and they messed up my order by giving me the former when I wanted the latter, but it was fixed in fairly short order. Food quality is good and commensurate with the prices, vegetarian friendly too. They have specials during the week as well, and signature cocktails. All in all, a nice place to while away an evening, not as hectic as Streetside down the street, and enough variety to satisfy a foodie. read more

interesting place - appetizers were very good, beer selection is good, had the impossible burger ($17) - average. Not big enough for the $$. fries were very good. guess bottom line is its over priced. read more

Stumbled across Local Post when in the area for work and was actually walking to the food truck at StreetSide when I looked up and there was a bar open at lunch time. A quick yelp check & I decided to dine here instead. There were many tables dinning but not really busy so I decided to sit at the bar to talk with the bar keep and hear about the restaurant. So, new location has been open for about six months previously under different management as POP restaurant. I really like the menu options and decided to order wings and a salad. The salads are good quality toppings and dressing. The wings are unique with classic flavors and unique dry rub flavors. The dry rub curry wings were delicious and juicy. Those wings are going to bring me back. I was planning my next visit before I left. They are heavy on pizza options and actually participating in Cincy pizza week soon. I think I'll be back for that. Because its located in the Columbia Tusculum neighborhood I find it challenging to make place to visit just for the restaurant so look forward to planning a day an outing to the area maybe including the nearby make your own candle bar. read more

Horrible. Spend your money elsewhere. I went here during pizza week and was very excited to try this place! They have cheese curds on the menu and having just been to Wisconsin and eating them for days straight I was pumped to eat more fried cheese. Ugh. It was a greasy, congealed mob that was barely edible. And for $8 I was embarrassed for myself. The pizza we got was below average. No pizza is bad pizza, but this was the worst I've had in Cincy. There was no savory flavor, and the arugula and vinagrette on top made the pizza bitter. Won't be back read more

Food is decent, service would be better ordering from a drive-thru. Arrived and waited by the "please wait to be seated" sign. After a few minutes, someone said "sit wherever." This would probably alert staff that maybe they should turn the sign around as several customers experienced the same after my party. The bartenders saw us but were pretty wrapped up in a great conversation to take an order for a few minutes. After ordering, my girlfriend got her drink while mine sat under the taps. Bartender dropped the drink and ran away to get back to that great conversation. After about five minutes, I walked over and asked if I could get that beer that's been sitting there. Food came in a decent time frame and was fresh. When the bartender, I think Jasmine was her name dropped the food she started to walk away. I had to ask for silverware, napkins, and ketchup. I also ordered a second beer. She brought one set of silverware for two of us...ok. We did get ketchup and napkins. But beer...nope. She had to get back to the other side of the bar to hang out. Trying not to be rude I slid my glass to the edge of the bar as a flare signal. Eventually she figures it out with a "dammit, I did it again" face. She dropped it off, no words to run and hide again. Got our check and thank whatever you find holy you can pay using a QR code. There was another employee(maybe a manager)there that did not like wearing his mask over his nose, which I care very little about. But, if you going to pick your nose several times, wash your DAMN hands. If he touched anything of mine I would of said something. First and last read more

Such a great establishment. Food is excellent. Highly recommend the unique wings, big salads, and that grilled cheese with the tomato bisque is outstanding. Also, so very accommodating to groups and family functions. The owner even ran out to get a patron doctor pepper because it wasn't usually on the menu last week. Excellent variety of beverages, and highly recommend the fireside cocktail. It's like going to a log cabin up north and getting cozy by the fire. There have been some pretty petty reviews going on, so maybe we just need a reminder that yelp is to recommend restaurants based on the merits or service and food. And these guys are doing both of those correctly. read more

Tried Local Post mid-afternoon on a recent Saturday thanks to a Groupon and will definitely be back! The management team was warm and friendly and they gave us a good overview of the place, which is light, spacious and welcoming. My husband had one of the pizza specials, which he enjoyed. My kids opted for the grilled cheese and very generously sized falafel burger and they really enjoyed their meals. I had the Emerson blue salad with grilled chicken and it was sized just right. Good beer selection. read more

Ugh! I really hate giving this place a 2. I've been here a time or two..and yea, I may find myself back at some point. But I dunno, I've never had a wonderful experience with the food or drink here and what else could I possibly base my review on?? In the past, the drinks have been Meh. So this time I ordered wine. Good enough. Since it was a Friday during lent, we ordered the "grown up grilled cheese." I'm not sure what was "grown up" about it........lots of cheese? Listen, it wasn't the cheeses they chose. WAY too many white cheese choices.......really needs something sharp. And oh my gosh, waaaayyyyyy, too much goat cheese!!! It literally tasted like a dry, cream cheese sandwhich some how. Not enough tomato bisque to dip. And like 7 fries???? All of that while listening to blaring country music. Uh, grown up or not..........pick one. read more

Good food. Dog friendly outdoor seating. Goos service. I highly recommend it's a nice place.

My first time here, and we'll definitely be back! Tables are separated enough that we felt safe, although the next able was enthusiastic while watching the football game that was on, and the noise was loud! We had the chicken wings, which are crispy and have a heavy dry rub (sultan's gold) coating that was not too spicy. They offered different sauces that sounded delicious, as well as options for the usual celery, bleu cheese and ranch. We also had a half salad, Stella Red, that was huge and covered in tasty crunchy nuts and added bacon. We also had the 1788 Burger with fries added, but could only eat half. The burger was huge, very juicy and a great bun that held together even with a little messiness of eating the delicious burger. The fries a big and interesting, with a sprinkle of parm on their crispy outsides. Service was good, price was fair. Definitely coming back again. Great spot with street parking that was easy to find on a Saturday afternoon. Go hungry. read more

This bar has a nice atmosphere. It has a pool table downstairs, which is great, and an outside bar space. The service was prompt, but look at this salad. This is a $5 salad. It is three bites of food. I can't get on board with how much of a rip-off of a salad this is. read more

Local Post is a cute bar/restaurant directly across the street from Streetside. Their menu items were seemingly basic but had creative twists - their fries were literally twisted, and the pizza fries were intriguing (my friends ordered and enjoyed both types). Their pizza had creative toppings, too (Asiago whipped ricotta, anyone?) and I appreciated the "make-your-own" option. However, service was sooooooo slow. I'm not sure if they were understaffed or if this is a perennial issue, but we ordered at the bar, and it took almost an hour for our food to come out. The runner didn't know which flavor of wings was which, and it took him 30 more minutes to "check" (by which time, my friends had already decided to each eat half). Requesting a side dip for the wings took another 20 minutes. For early on a Friday night, it was a little disappointing how long everything took and how disorganized the service was. It was one of those things that took away from the experience, unfortunately. read more

The Emerson Blue was ah-mazing! I got the grilled cheese and it was very good....the tomato basil bisque that is paired with it is flavorful & cheesy. If you love cheese, I recommend this sandwich. 4 stars only due to draft beer choices being a disappointment. read more

Really cool little neighborhood bar with an awesome indoor space and outdoor patio/backyard. They have a sensational beer selection and some unique foods. My friend and I decided to get several appetizers and split them along with our beers. We had the garlic parm wings, pizza fries, and toasted ravioli. Everything was super yummy, but the portions were fairly small for the price. Our waitress was attentive and nice. We sat out on the patio and it was great out there. This is a great chill neighborhood place for casual hangout! read more

One of my favorite burger places. The fries are very good with a twist. Bread made fresh and their wings are some of the best around. Since Covid we eat at different restaurants with a rule you can't eat at the same place twice. I broke that rule for my birthday and ate here again. Just as good as the first time. Going back for their pizza soon. read more

They've gone downhill since last year. The servers are so incredibly sloppy, slobby and rude. I particularly loved it when our server either went on break or left and told another server to watch after us, which you could tell she was annoyed by. So she stood in front of our table, with her back to us, and proceeded to braid her hair. My husband ordered grilled cheese and sandwich and tomato soup and they filled the soup up half way. Lol. read more

Really pissed that you completely ignored my wife. All we wanted was to order a couple of burgers to go. You fumbled around at the cash register then ignored her when people came in after her. I wanted to love this pizza but it just wasn't good. We ordered the east end and subbed the peppers for garlic which I think did not help the case for the pizza. The 10inch came out hot, looked fairly decent but overall was bland and the garlic was super crunchy which made the consistenty of the pizza. I did enjoy the crunchy bake of the pizza but that was basically it. read more
