Sunny, our waitress, was great. We had the bison meatloaf and a black and blue burger, broccoli and sautéed spinach. All were excellent.

With absolutely no planning and no recommendations I decided to eat here because it was raining and I could see it from my hotel window and walk there. I was nicely decorated and had many TVs playing the NCAA basketball games. On the right was a bar area and it was quite busy and straight ahead was the dining area where I was seated. I ordered BBQ shrimp for and appetizer and it was large and excellent. Not since Pascal's Manale in New Orleans have I had such great BBQ shrimp. The portion was large so to follow it up I ordered a Billy Burger which was a nicely cooked burger on a fresh in house baked bun dressed with sauteed mushrooms and onions, swiss cheese and a garlic aioli. It was delicious. It came with thin fries which were average but the service was very good and fast.. The food was over the top so I will certainly be back. One more thing, I had a cherry-lime seltzer with rum that was very good too. read more

Staff was great & helpful. The manager was the problem. I was charged $18 for a single mixed drink...and i didn't request That the alcohol be TOP SHELF. When I questioned the manager, he was very justified in charging such an extravaganza amount for this drink. He wouldn't adjust my bill and didn't apologize. 2nd visit. A week ago my burger was thinner than the cheese. Came back, asked if it was a fluke and they delivered an excellent burger. Getting a second beer took about 25 minutes. Couldn't get the keg changed and gave a flat beer. Offered other varieties but most on their menu are too hoppy. Finally gave me one that wasn't too bad. Not sure if I'll be back. plenty of parking. No wait when I walked in mid afternoon on a weekend. My waitress Ruth was amazing! So kind and very attentive. Chill atmosphere and they had ESPN on the big screen. Not too loud inside. I ordered the lamb burger with fries and the lamb was seasoned really well. I like the addition of the red onions and tzatziki sauce with my only critique being there was too much tzatziki. Really appreciated the lunch prices and the military discount! PARKING - Very large parking lot but did find the way the GPS had me enter was odd. ATMOSPHERE - The place was very clean and we enjoyed the paintings that were for sale displayed on the walls. STAFF - The staff were very friendly and greeted upon entry with a smile and eye contact. We did not feel like a bother and the staff seemed to like their jobs. The credit card machines were down and were told up front and didn't hinder their service or politeness. FOOD - The burgers were pretty good. My son had the bison burger and said it was great. It wasn't super large and said it wasn't very filling but was a great option for lunch. My TN whiskey burger was juicy and filling. My son said the fries were just ok, pretty thin and reminds me of steak and shake fries. I had the sweet mashed potatoes and did not care or them that much. I wish it had some marshmallow topping or option for more flavor They may have been overcooked as it tasted a little burnt or bitter, couldn't tell which. They were extremely hot when I took my first bite, almost scolding hot. I would pass on them next time. PRICE - The price was fair for the quality of burgers. Would like to try the bison meatloaf but that and other items seem a little high. Not a fault of the restaurant as their costs have gone up. THE GOOD - The burger taste was great - Friendly staff and clean place - Tables are situated in a way you could have a conversation with your family without having neighboring tables noise to worry about. THINGS I WOULD LIKE TO SEE -I love the burger choices but wish there would be some more unique ones similar to Rodeo Goat in Dallas or Teak in Orlando. Great service. Highly recommended the deep fried deviled eggs. The fried fish is basically a giant fish donut/grease sponge...if that's what you're into, this is the place. Well. I've been here and it's been great and I've been here and it's horrible. Our last visit our hamburger buns were so wet with grease that they were gummy and slimy and when we asked for new buns the waitress seemed really irritated and it took forever to get them. I saw at least one other table ask for new buns too. Not sure why the quality is so hit and miss but this last time it was bad enough that we won't be going back. read more

My Daughter and son-in-law took me there for my birthday. They had never been to a Local Goat and I thought they'd enjoy it. The server wasn't as good as usual, we had to ask for appetizer plates, she forgot our drinks, but all in all everything was going fine. We ordered appetizers, burgers and drinks everything was good, about halfway through the meal I was picking at my fries AND FOUND A HAIR, and it wasn't mine! I called the server over who seemed not that concerned. Although she did make the right facial gestures. She asked if I wanted another meal, I told her just a new burger, NO fries and make it to go (we had all lost our appetites). she said a manager would be over to talk to us and left. 5 minutes passed and nothing. I ordered and ate my creme brulé. Still no manager, after about 10 minutes she brings the check, they deducted a little over 9.00 off the 129.00 bill, but no manager ever came, no real apology from any management staff. I have been going there since it opened, I go there with coworkers as well. I was pretty shocked by the lack of concern or well anything. I have never found a hair in my food in my life and I'm not sure exactly what could have fixed this but choosing to ignore us wasn't the way to go, so now I won't be back, nor will my coworkers. read more

If you left a 1-star review, go home and check for gas leaks, b/c your brain doesn't work. There's a reason all these people who have been multiple times keep going back. Our server Makenzi was amazing from start to finish. She was super knowledgeable and helpful in picking out our drinks, appetizers, and entrees. Awesome find! Locally owned and operated spot serving up delicious food. Meat and produce sourced locally and the feature local and regional beers as well! The bartender was fantastic, she provided great recommendations and told she was a great guide by informing me about the local area! The Froed Green Tomatoes were crisp and so warming! The bacon jam and onions were a great accompaniment but do yourselves a favor and take a bite of them woth that salad, the balsamic glaze paired with the tomatoes makes the whole dish. The Lamb Burger was so juicy! The tzatziki and feta was a classic pairing done right. The fries we a bit of a let done, these super super thin shoestring fries were under seasoned, got cold almost immediately and were soggy. They definitely needed more crunch. Overal a great spot! Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Our food -- cheeseburger (with a fresh, delicious and soft bun), fruit salad "cup", crispy shoestring French fries, autumn harvest salad (oh my how happy my palette was), chicken wings, fish n chips, and crème brûlée. Service is very good; charming staff. Ambiance is a sports bar with booths and a giant TV (10 - 15 ft diagonal) dominating the eating space. The Smoked shrimp and crab bisque was very good - I thoroughly enjoyed it. The grilled Ahi Tuna, described as "soy-ginger-pineapple glazed" with fried rice and steamed broccoli was bland and unremarkable. Broccoli was steamed and put on the plate - nothing added - just overcooked mushy veg; fried rice wasn't fried rice - it was boiled rice with a few pieces of canned veg in it and no salt or any spices or flavorings; the tuna that I ordered medium rare (slightly red in the middle) was seared 1-2 minutes max on each side (cold rare in the center) and the glaze was not a glaze - it was a thin watery, barely detectable flavor veneer that one would not notice if not informed that it was there. This was a completely bland entree. The online photo has it with spinach and mashed potatoes ... a little schizophrenic. Get a steak or a burger, they looked and smelled good - obviously what they want to serve and know how to cook, but not what I wanted. The fish seems to be an "Oh well, guess we need to have a fish offering". My thought is that the tuna is NOT what this restaurant wants to sell ( and has no idea how to prepare) and anyone ordering it is punished for not selecting something else. On the other hand, a burger with peanut butter and bananas doesn't seem too appealing either. However, despite the food, it *was* expensive. For context, I have lived and traveled all over the world and am an accomplished cook - I know good food. Their tuna wasn't. read more

Generally, their food is great, but I've had two meals recently that have been awful. The bbq chicken nachos were very disappointing! The queso tasted straight out of a can - no spice, congealed, yuck. The guacamole was brown, chicken wasn't hot and was overcooked. Not enough flavor - so unlike this restaurant. Never again. The breaded chicken sandwich was awful. The chicken was so overcooked, it was inedible. Most of their food I've had is great, but it seems like their quality has gone down. SO Good! Chelsea our server was perfect, very personable, chatty enough, didn't take up residence with us but lingered enough for us all to swap fun diner/dinings experiences, and keep my partner's ice tea refilled at all times.
