I like how each time my home is being serviced, its by the same technician so they really take the time to listen to my concerns and focus on the areas I may be experiencing problems (although since I started using Local Bug Guy, the problems have been very minimal.) I have small children and pets in my home so its important that the chemicals being used are 100% safe for my family and I really appreciate that they put such an emphasis on that. We moved into a house a couple years ago and discovered it had a major ant problem. We tried to handle it ourselves but the ants just kept coming back. I found Local Bug Guy on Yelp and gave them a call due to all their great reviews. The lady I spoke to was so nice and completely understood all of my frustration with the ants. She was able to schedule someone to come out within a few days and I could tell that the person who came out loves his job. He even found a black widow living by our pool that we had no idea was there and took care of every concern we had. After he left our ant problem completely disappeared. Needless to say, we have had Local Bug Guy come out each quarter to spray and I have not seen a single ant (or black widow) near our house in two years. This company seriously goes above and beyond. Sometimes they come out while I'm at work and I've found that they've taken my trashcan in from the curb after trash day. Their price is very reasonable and I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Brent is awesome. I first called him when I had an ant problemin my upstairs bathroom. He came out and found several ant Colonies showed me where they were, how they were getti.g in, etc. he was very attentive. Every month he contacts me and lets me know when he is coming so I can keep my dogs inside and follows up with what he found during service. He gives personal service! I have no pesfs. Brent just came by at the end of the month for our scheduled service. He is honest, reliable, and really knows his stuff. We've been using his company to control the bugs since we moved here, almost two years ago. A lot of people recommended him and we are glad we listened. He walked through what he does, gave me ideas of what to look for between services, and really goes above and beyond to educate the customer. We get email reminders about our next appointments, he checks up on us after a service to make sure we are satisfied, and in general has excellent customer service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND We have lived in our home for three years. For the most part, we were happy with our old pest control--with one exception. They couldn't get rid of our ant problem. During summer months we were invaded by these little annoyances every two weeks. Our neighbors recommended Local Big Guy. I called them, and they came out the very same day. They sprayed inside and outside, and told us that we might see an increase in activity for up to a week. And that was true. But I am beyond happy to say we haven't seen any trails since. Once in awhile a scout ant, but it dies quickly. Brent, the owner, is so friendly and knowledgeable. As are Matt and Jimmy. And they are professional, friendly, helpful. And they are local. Professional, prompt, responsive, effective, honest, and sincere are just some of the qualities that come to mind with this company - and that's just based on the admin side! On the bug control side? Very effective. Before using their services, we saw plenty of spiders, ants, and lots of weird looking creatures roaming around our yard and sometimes even in our home. I figured with these types of services it was just a state of mind of having somewhat of control but let me tell you, we have seen hardly any! Only exceptions being after rain. We called Local Bug Guy four months ago to tackle the recurring ant problem we had in our new home since it was built 2014. Previously I was using at home remedies that would temporarily work, but a few months later they would be back with a vengeance. Jimmy came out the week we called and within 24 hours of spraying, the ants were GONE and we haven't seen one since! We now have recurring service every three months, with additional no cost service if we encounter an insect issue in between service dates. The BEST customer service! Follows up to make sure bugs are all gone (which they were by the end of the first day he came!) and will come back for free if they're not! I called him for an ant problem in my home, but he took care of a few wasps nests and black widows outside too (found a few too many of those!). He even educated my kids and I on black & brown widow spiders and what they look like when they're babies (they don't have the red markings on tummy yet!). We moved to Murrieta in 2009. Finally, last summer 2017, I decided I couldn't fight this Argentinian ant trail in our area any longer. These Argentinian ants are fierce and relentless. I swear, no matter how clean we kept our counters and floors, and kept things buttoned up in the pantry, the ants would find their way in. Time to find an exterminator! I saw the Local Bug Guy's reviews on Yelp and decided to give them a try. Mike is our Local Bug Guy. He's great! Professional, informative, and good communication. It took just a few months of having Mike come back out during our initial start up to "get the bugs worked out," but I'm so happy to say that last summer was our first ant-free summer. The spiders and earwigs are way down, too. It was nice to be able to walk into my kitchen or bathroom each morning and not see a trail, knowing I'd be spending the next half hour or so killing ants, laying down messy ant bait and throwing out food from the pantry. Time is money, and so is wasted food and bug prevention products that just don't do the job. read more

He listened to my concerns and allowed me to show him some trouble spots I had noticed while pulling weeds. Once he got to work it took less than 30 minutes. Our service rep is Wayne. He is a great guy and does a great job in keeping our area free of pests. We occasionally get mice due to construction in the surrounding neighborhood so he helps with a bait box since we have dogs. We have used Wayne now for 2+ years now and in that time had him come back only once between our quarterly service to address ants in our outdoor pool bathroom. Other than that, we have not seen any ants and have not had any problems with ants in our home. He always tells us to call him if we see any ants between services, he is happy to respray. Wayne also takes care of spiders when he services our home and removes webs outdoors and in our patio/pool area. We have been happy with the service and with our rep Wayne. Completely blown away with the service I received today. The family and I came back from a vacation and soon discovered we had ants! I love supporting small business and this one is a keeper. I have always done my own pest control but the ants in Temecula are something else. I dealt with Brent in the office and he explained their service and why it makes sense to commit to a 1 year contract. They assign a service technician (Matt in my case) and the same one will always do our service. Matt was very thorough and explained everything he would do to get rid of the ants in the house. I've been using the Local Bug Guy for about 3 months now .. I had originally called them because of a bug problem in my master bath. Brent, the owner, came out next-day, and sprayed the bathroom (bugs were gone!) and the entire property. Yesterday, Jimmy came out to do the service, and I had forgotten to shut the dog in the house. He called me and texted me, and I explained to him how to get her to go inside (She's a big sissy) he texted me later and told me that he had successfully gotten her to go inside, and then was talking to her through the window, telling her everything would be fine. Anyone that would take that kind of consideration to a dog, then communicate to the customer that all was fine, is just two thumbs up in my book. Best decision I've ever made. I'd been battling ants for a couple weeks, no trails just some here and there in different rooms both up and downstairs, bought new spray, washed floors, kept crumbs, pet food, kid spills to a minimum, nothing helped! Finally made the decision to call a professional because what I was doing obviously wasn't working!! I googled companies clicked on The Local Bug Guy and filled out the online form. Brent called and we talked and he made sure I had all the information I needed and the appointment was set up for the next day with Matt. I honestly can't say enough about these guys, awesome is an understatement. Matt came out, explained what he does, how the company works and what to do if we weren't satisfied. He went around the whole outside, yard, garage, found the ants, sprayed literally everywhere and I haven't seen a single ant since that day. Matt found millions of ants trailing above the garage door so I went out front periodically that day and watched them get less and less and less then nothing. Amazing!!
