Went here for coffee and burritos to go during a long roadtrip. The coffee (latte) was made very well and even had some latte art. The breakfast burritos we got were sautéed fresh on the pan and ready within a few minutes. The burritos and coffee were so tasty- I had to leave a great review! We were in town for a week, but we wish we could have stayed longer just to go to Loaded Joes more! The baristas remembered my friend and I after the first visit, the coffee was delish AND the food was next level. Even the chicken tendies were seasoned to perfection. We went to Loaded Joe's for lunch today. When we entered we were told that we would need to leave our dog on the patio. I responded that I can't leave my dog on the patio because she is a service dog. She had all of her proper service dog identification. We were told "well if it's a service dog then there's nothing we can do". Incredibly rude and uniformed. We left and will not be back. read more

Staff terrible, Food ok. We came here for dinner. We were greeted by "Brie" who was squatting in the opening from the counter to the kitchen area. She eventually stood up and told us there was no table service as she was the only one there. While we stood at the counter waiting to order she waited a couple beats to take our order until one gentleman finished his beer and she refilled it. She did bring the food and chucked an empty ketchup bottle and said let me know if that's not enough. Maybe she had attitude because someone didn't show up for work or maybe she is related to the owner but not acceptable no matter what. Several small annoyances made our dinning experience less than desirable. The guy running expo was a little rude, only one broken high chair, kitchen couldn't accommodate scrambling eggs instead of frying, so many flies (!), charged us incorrectly on the bill. If you have dietary restrictions of any kind do not eat at this restaurant, they are not friendly to gluten free Today we had a very unpleasant experience at this business. We are home owners in Beaver Creek we spend about half the year here and we have been coming to this restaurant regularly for the last few weeks since we arrived back into town. We have had pleasant visits, but apparently the back kitchen was boiling over from our asking for gluten free bread instead of a bun. Let me explain. Today we entered, I actually saw a familiar face sitting at the bar when we walked in. We made our order with the waitress, she was wonderful, thorough and wrote everything down. I actually asked for just a burger, meat, cheese, no bun (gluten free bread instead, which they do offer) no tomato, no pickles ( I have an allergy) and I added avocado- I cannot have the side salad or fries so I just take it without a side --my dish saves the house money, but whose counting. My son ordered a hamburger meat cheese and bun only ( again - money saver for the restaurant. ). When "our order" was ready a gentleman came over with three plates of food- none of which were items that we ordered. One was chicken fingers ( we ordered 3 burgers) the other was a burger with everything on it and a side salad ( none of us ordered the side salad) we said that it must be someone else's order and he took it back to the counter. Another server grabbed the same items & brought it over and we said, again I don't think this is our order. Then a woman got up from the bar and haughtily brought over our dishes and was insistent that they were ours. We went through every item that was on each burger and it was mostly wrong. At that point my husband realized that the bread on this burger was cold and soft (it didn't seem toasted). She argued that it was toasted. At that point I was done being treated poorly and we decided to leave. I let her know that her poor attitude was completely uncalled for at which point she said- "I don't even work here I'm just trying to help out. She then called me a "fking Bitch" as I walked out the door and then I came back in to tell her to watch her mouth and the cook came from the bar and said "you come everyday and you order this garbage bread on your sandwich- why can't you just order straight off the menu" Clearly the cook and the woman and the other worker that I initially recognized sitting at the bar were conversing about us and decided to show us that we are not welcome at this establishment- I know it's hard to find good staff in the valley but how unbelievably unprofessional. In the future I will be getting the $35 burger and kind service at the Chop House - thanks! read more

I can only provide a review for Loaded Joe's based solely off getting a cup of coffee to-go before heading out of town. It took a little bit of a time for that to even happen as the place is very small and there's no clear idea of who in line is waiting for a table and who is just getting something to-go. Not exactly ideal in these times of COVID-19 and social distancing. I'll say the cup of coffee was good. At $3.25 for a dark roast, perhaps a little pricey but it still did its job. I don't want to thoroughly condemn this place based solely off one visit but I do have to echo some of the other reviews on their approach towards COVID precautions. I would say Vail and it surrounding ski towns feel generally weird about it but Loaded Joe's was particularly bizarre. For how small it was, there were a lot of people seated and not as socially distanced as you would think. Some wearing masks, some not. In general, as a result, it gave me a kind of "what the hell is going on here?" vibe just going in there. It felt like it wasn't like any other restaurant I may have been to in a major town/city in its care for COVID-19. Is it the restaurant's beliefs itself? Is it the high number of tourists it gets? No clue. But, needless to say, I was already uncomfortable in the 3-5 minutes I was in there so I can't imagine why I would want to dine in there now in the current times. Anyway, reading the other reviews makes me scared I'm going to get COVID now so let's just leave it as a place for a sufficient cup of coffee and to get the hell out of there. read more

Great location in the cute little town of Avon Colorado. Close to other shops, restaurants, hotels, and great walking and hiking area by the river. I was there for breakfast and their coffee is great and I had the French toast with strawberries and it was very good too. They were extremely busy though and definitely need more help. Matt was our server and very friendly and helpful on what to order. It's a very clean establishment and original, they have open mics and karaoke. I've had a decent experience with the staff working there, they're not particularly rude but they're not that friendly either. My parents went there to get some lunch and A guy at the counter told them to take a seat anywhere they like. Once they sat down a waitress kept walking around them completely ignoring them for almost 15 minutes. It was rather busy so they didn't think much of it at the beginning. But after more than half of the customers left The waitress kept walking around them. My dad went and told a guy at the counter if he was going to be helped and he offered to help him instead. He gave my parents water and menus. The lady then walked over and harshly put down the silverware. But then another 20 minutes passed and they weren't helped so they just decided to leave. read more

Came here for a coffee and small Breakfast on my ski trip.. our server and service wasn't great. He was a bit rude and not attentive at all. When I asked for sugar for my coffee he told me I could get up and put some in myself... The hash brown potatoes were pretty terrible, small and seemed as if they had been frozen. My other friend had a burrito he ate the whole thing but he is a human dumpster so that may have been the reason why. Coffee was okay, no refills were offered. Overall super disappointing and won't be returning. read more

Loaded Jo's is definitely worth a stop when you're Avon! We loved everything we ordered there, and then came back a few nights later for Tuesday trivia. They have a great happy hour with Bonfire Brewing beers on tap and in stock. They've got a full bar, with coffee and some treats as well. They're decently priced for a resort town, and you can get a sandwich for about $12-13. We tried the Patty Melt (which was soooo yummy), the chicken tenders (very good, great honey mustard), and the turkey bacon club with fries. We had a little bit of an issue with a dairy allergy, so just make sure you are very explicit with the kitchen if you need to be. The staff was not super friendly about the changes we needed. We also tried the Reece's shake, which was a great sweet treat! Overall, a great Avon spot. read more

I loved the Milky Way coffee and the Lemon Ricotta pancakes were so yummy! I also loved the breakfast burrito. Tables were spaced out and they have high-top tables on the verandah.
