I honestly hate having to write this review, but I would hate it even more if someone else had the same experience I did. I ordered the Crunchy Asada Chilaquiles, which are advertised as one of their best sellers. When the dish arrived, the chilaquiles did not look appetizing at all, but I tried not to judge based on appearance alone. Unfortunately, the taste matched the presentation. I'm a huge chilaquiles fan and try them everywhere I can, and sadly these were the worst I've had. The ingredients just didn't work well, and the flavors were unpleasant enough that I couldn't finish the meal. I also ordered a Mazapan Latte and I couldn't finish that either. The latte tased like straight milk with creamer, no hint of Mazapan. What made the experience even more disappointing was something that happened during our visit. I dined here on January 7, just a few days after Día de los Reyes. When we walked in, I noticed every table had a rosca de reyes, which I love. I assumed it was either something you could order or perhaps a complimentary item. Our table was given a small basket of mini pan dulce, so I thought maybe that had replaced the rosca for the day. However, shortly after we sat down, another table was seated and they were served a rosca. I asked them if they had ordered it or if it was complimentary, and they told me it was complimentary. At that point I realized our table had not been offered the same thing. I want to be clear that I can't say with certainty why this happened, but it left me feeling uncomfortable and wondering if assumptions were made about our table. I'm a light-complexioned Mexican dining with a Caucasian friend, and it felt strange that we were the only table not offered the same specialty item during a cultural holiday. WE WERE BEING DISCRIMINATED! How is it that us, the only table with Caucasian-presenting appearance were the only table that were given mini pan Dulce (the regular complimentary appetizer) instead of the specialty Rosca De Reyes all the other tables with Hispanic-appearing-guests were served. That does not sit right with me. DO NOT MAKE ASSUMPTIONS BASED ON APPEARANCES. I may seem Caucasian but I am 100% Mexican and I love Rosca De Reyes, and wanted my friend to try a Rosca, so I asked another server (ours was on break) if we too could have a Rosca and he brought one out to us. Because of the food and this experience, I don't see myself returning. I will say, however, that the bakery located in the back of the restaurant is cute and offers pastries that looked quite tasty.

Came in to Loaded Café for a late breakfast with my daughter. This location splits its facility with Panecito, a Mexican bakery, which is located towards the back. Loaded itself only has inside seating with a modest amount of booths and booth/table combos. Staffing seemed to be minimal, but everyone was friendly and accommodating. They checked on us regularly to ask how the food was and to provide refills on our drinks. My daughter ordered the crunchy asada chilaquiles and I ordered their strawberry almond cheesecake crepes as a combo (adding eggs, hashbrowns, and sausage). The flavor for the chilaquiles was perfect, but the meat was on the chewy side. The combo portion of my meal was standard and hit the spot. We ended up sharing the crepes, which were a nice, dessert-like finish to our meal. The crepes were perfectly prepared with a decent amount of strawberries, cheesecake drizzle, sliced almonds, and whipped cream. Coke fans be aware, only Pepsi products are served here :(

Needs an early breakfast place and looked on southwest airlines app to see what was around I found this place and it was a treat. My wife ordered Asada Chilaquiles Plate and I had a crepe. Ok I ate half of hers and she ate half of mine. It was delish we both left full and are dying to go back. Great place and a reasonable price. You got to go. So much more to try.

The food was good service was horrible. And it felt that we were not the patrons they wanted in their restaurant as the table directly next to us came after us and got seated and served in a shorter time then us and service was friendly unlike our table. Food was good. And the cafe and sweets amazing which explains the screaming children I heard throughout my experience the vibe was end of the day at a daycare. I loved the matcha and wanted to try more of the baked goods...buuuuut not sure they want me or my family or people who share my phenotype there so there's that...

Mixed review here... the host who welcomed us was so friendly and happy - which, is always appreciated! We were told it would be a 10 minute wait, but we ended up being sat almost immediately after we put our name down. The place itself is kind of muggy and a little warm inside, but it's a classic diner. We were given free bread as an appetizer and needed a couple minutes to look over the menu. We put our order in and got to chatting... Realizing 45 minutes had gone by, we still didn't have food and had drank all of our water, with no server in sight. Our food finally came after our server initially brought out the wrong order. We ordered a scramble and the chilaquiles. The chips and cheese on the chilaquiles were so burnt! It looked like it had been under the heat lamp for quite some time. The veggie scramble was actually very tasty and I was so thankful because of how long it took to get it. I would definitely eat that again however, I probably won't go back to this place just because of how long everything took. Over an hour and a half for a simple breakfast... pass.

Great service. Got here around 8am on july 4th and was seated right away. The decorations reminded me of dennys. The food did not disappoint with the exception of the complimentary conchas. The conchas were hard, burnt and dry. I feel like these were day old and they just reheated them for us, if you're gonna make something complimentary at least make it well. My hashbrowns were perfect for me, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, hard to find a place that does it right! My eggs were cooked to a perfect medium. Will be back soon to try more.

Great location, good service, & delicious food. Had to take my kids to have some breakfast in between there basketball games. The kids ordered their pancakes, crepes, & stuffed french toasts. All was delicious. Great spot for family breakfast.

I tried Loaded Cafe after seeing Instagram raves about this being the Mexican Denny's. I found my experience there to be just okay. They serve small sweet conches for their bread basket. The food is flavorful, which was always a plus. The music is at an annoying volume because we were under a speaker, so we ended up moving to another table which was helpful. The service was okay, but the price seemed high for what we got. I think your experience depends greatly on how much you are willing to overspend.

No wait for B fast during the week, but it gets crowded on weekends. Seems to be a younger crowd in the diner"esque" place. While lots of items are $15+ we opted for the weekday special menu. Two nice conchas (baked good) complimentary were a nice touch. Breakfasts are huge, kind of pricey. Pancakes, eggs w bacon was good ($12.99?). Pancakes were fluffy and delicious. Eggs OM were way over cooked, yoke stuck on whites. Bacon just average nothing special. French toast in the value menu was delicious as well. Also a Mexican bakery on site with lots of fresh choices.

After much thought the best way to describe this is a Mexican American dinner. It does not give cafe vibes. The food is okay , I tried the chilaquiles with chicken. The chilaquiles have cheese , sauce and hash browns on the side. I want to note chilaquiles plates do not come with any toppings like sour cream , pico de gallo etc hence why this "cafe" gives dinner vibes. This restaurant does not go the extra mile with the plates that are being served or with its service. The service was okay our waitress just took our order , delivered the food and we didn't see her again until it was time to pay. I didn't even get offered a refill on my coffee. If you're looking for quick food and okay service then I would recommend this place. But if you're looking for a brunch , cafe vibe this is not the place. I do want to note , their complementary concha's are delicious!

I went to this cafe with high hopes based off the reviews but was sadly let down, when i ordered my meal I substituted my hash browns for country potatoes for an extra $2 which I expected to have seasoned potatoes with bell peppers and onions because usually they have them but I was given a sad and dry breakfast . service was okay , overall a bit disappointed.:(

We stopped in passing for a quick grab-and-go. We didn't eat inside this time--just picked up a couple of drinks and some pan dulce--but it was a great first impression. The staff was friendly, the menu looked legit, and it's definitely a place I want to come back to and actually sit down for a meal. The dining area reminded me of an old school "Sunday morning" style dining area. It was very, and you could tell that everyone inside was enjoying their meals. We ordered an iced coffee, a watermelon Tajín drink, and a few conchas. Everything was good. The drinks were refreshing, and the conchas were soft and really tasty. Overall, a very solid experience for a quick stop. Looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu.

I came to this place after seeing it on TikTok, but it was a very disappointing experience. The food was dry and lacked quality, and the coffee was excessively sweet and unpleasant. I ordered a mazapán and a dulce de leche coffee, and neither tasted anything like they were supposed to. Overall, nothing we ordered met expectations. Stopped by the Placentia location for brunch -- kind of like a Mexican twist on a diner. The place has a big menu with both American and Mexican options, so there's something for everyone. We got the asada chilaquiles plate, chilaquiles torta, strawberry banana brioche French toast, and the butter cookie pancake. Portions were big, and everything came out pretty quick. They give you complimentary mini conchas when you sit down, which is a nice touch. The food overall was solid -- nothing over the top, but definitely hits when you want a casual, hearty breakfast or lunch. Service was friendly, and the space felt open and relaxed. People call it the Mexican Denny's, and honestly that fits -- no-frills, big servings, and good comfort food when you're in the mood for it. read more

Came here for breakfast on Saturday around 10 am. It wasn't too busy and we were seated right away. There is plenty of seating and the decor is kind of diner style. Star of the show is the complimentary conchas! The menu was extensive. There were a lot of sweet and savory items to choose from and a lot of smaller versions of menu items as well. Items ordered and reviewed (5 stars max) chorizo torta- 4 stars, chorizo had good flavor and was not too greasy pambazo-4 stars, everything inside was delish but the bread was not good and for $20 I expect it to have the good bread. turkey lovers combo- 2 stars, soggy and not impressive, pancakes were yummy though sirloin steak breakfast-4 stars, good flavor and everything was cooked well. crepe combo-3 stars, crepes were just ok but price was good. Overall most menu items are overpriced but there are still a decent amount of items under $10 that make it worth coming back. Service was inconsistent. Our waitress was nice and attentive but when my husband tried to switch from the Turkey lover to the breakfast burrito she said she already sent the order. (It had literally only been 1 minute) I personally feel like most places would have gone to the back and make the change. read more

Watched a YouTube short on this place and had to try it. I frequently try places out I see online and sometimes it's all hype but this place was legit. Arrived around 9:30am, plenty of parking, smiling service and were seated immediately. Dining room was casual and clean. Once seated we were surprised to receive the cutest warm and tasty pan dulce conchas as like an appetizer. You can't go wrong with some sweet bread. Ordered the chilaquiles and asada plate. It was soooo good! Just tasty and the sauce had a bite to it just enough to make my nose run a little lol. Plate was served with beans n eggs. There's so many tempting things to order I couldn't decide but next time I want yo try something g sweet too like the cake shakes I will totally go again it's worth a try. read more

Last time I was here was when it first opened, and it was an awful experience. Super loud portable air conditioners all over connected to the ceiling, a really confusing cash/credit pricing structure, and they were purposely charging a higher tax rate than the city requires (they were charging a 9.75% sales tax). The management got pretty nervous when I pointed out the latter issue, but already had the correct change ready to go. Plus the food was mediocre and ridiculously overpriced. I'm happy to say these issues are no longer present. The food is great, it's reasonably priced, they have proper quiet air conditioners, and simple menu prices. Different staff too, and a whole lot friendlier. I'm glad I gave this place a second chance! Oh, and the chilequiles were pretty good too. read more

Poor management. I came in at 10 am on a Monday. The menus were so sticky and disgusting and the restaurant itself looked like it hadn't been swept or cleaned in a while. The bathrooms were so gross, trash all over the floor, terrible smell and very dirty floors. The concha's were really good but the other food was just okay. I got the chicken guacamole stacker but they ran out of avocado/ guac so that was suprising since it was so early in the morning. My food came out kind of cold/ room temperature . The service was not the best, our server just seemed like she didn't want to be there. Was excited to try this place but it was a disappointing experience to say the least. read more

The only things about this place with the bread and the service other than that the food was not that great. I ordered the menudo and right off the bat by the color I could tell it wouldn't be good it taste like canned Juanita's menudo, I wouldn't be surprised if it was honestly. My mom ordered a veggie omelette which was basically just scrambled eggs with spinach on top, and not to mention the pancakes so over cooked and dry they didn't even come with butter overall I would not come again nor would I recommended this place. read more

I really wanted to love this place but..service sucks and food is average. The concept is definitely fun but falls short from lack of execution. The wait, okay..not excited but, it's a given. But, they managed to get that wrong. After being seated, I thought, we'd be off to a better experience..the mini conchita breads were warm and delicious. However, that was the end the grand experience. We ordered the appetizer trio, nachos, endless pancake, potato tacos. All food except the tacos were cold. Tacos were at best, warm. Cheese was not even melted on the nachos. Sad Drink cups were empty..sitting here waiting for the pancakes were painful. Probably had to wait about 25 minutes for the 2nd order of pancakes to come back out! Everyone was just about done eating. So..bad service, average COLD food, had to wait an hour and 15...no thanks...HARD PASS. read more

Was a good experience, we were greeted upon entering and menu had lots of variety to choose from. Server was nice and patient with us as we had questions and couldn't decide. Got the regular breakfast and hubs got the breakfast burritos both were good. I also go the Horchata that was really good, but didn't really need the straw cookie as it just got soggy. Wish I could post more pics but yelp only lets 10 and their menu was more then 10 pages! Restrooms were clean and establishment was clean as well. Was our first time here and got a baked good at the beginning. It was the traditional Mexican pan Dulce not my fav because it's so dry. After finally waiting another 10 minutes to receive our water, we had to track down our server again just to place our food order because no one returned to check on us. By that point, we had been sitting long enough and were more than ready to order. To make matters worse, we ordered an appetizer of coconut shrimp about five minutes after placing our entrée order, but it never arrived. After we had already finished our meals, we asked to cancel it, only to be told that our server had never entered the order in the first place. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for the poor service. It lacked flavor and was very underwhelming. This experience was frustrating enough that I cannot recommend Reunion Kitchen. I initially wanted to believe this was simply an off day or an inexperienced server, but after hearing from two other people I know who described nearly identical experiences, it seems this may be a recurring issue. One thing that left me especially uncomfortable was seeing guests who arrived well after us receive prompt attention while our table was repeatedly overlooked. I can't say why that happened, but it certainly made us question whether we were being treated differently. I sincerely hope the restaurant looks into its service standards and ensures every guest is treated with the same level of respect and attention.

From the moment we arrived, Olivia's hospitality set the tone for an exceptional evening. She greeted us with a warm smile, made us feel genuinely welcome, and promptly seated us. Shortly after, our server, Layla, introduced herself. Despite the late hour, she was energetic, engaging, and had an infectious enthusiasm that elevated the entire dining experience. She expertly recommended several cocktails, along with a glass of wine, and her knowledge of both the bar program and the menu was impressive. Her recommendations for appetizers and entrées were spot on. We decided on the Wagyu Pigs in a Blanket, BBQ Nachos, and the Spicy Rigatoni. Every dish was beautifully prepared, flavorful, and exceeded our expectations. Another team member, Emanuel, delivered one of our dishes and was equally personable and engaging. He took the time to share information about the restaurant, further demonstrating the outstanding level of hospitality displayed by the entire team. Manager Dave also stopped by our table to check on our experience. We shared with him that this was, without question, one of the best dining experiences we've had in Orange County in quite some time. Great food certainly matters, but it was the exceptional service, genuine hospitality, and positive energy of the staff that made the evening truly memorable. This place CAME THROUGH and saved the day when others (understandably) turned us away. They even let us serve the cake and the manager gave us free champagne (and apple juice) for the group! Ambience on the inside as well as the outside are both pretty great. I've also never had a bad meal here, virtually all of their food is spectacular and made from scratch although their prices are not "cheap" they are also very fair, especially given the quality of food. The drinks are also dead on, they have a wide range of craft beer as well as a full bar. The service is great. The only thing I could think of the lands in the constructive arena is their live music. Sometimes they have open mic nights, other times they have a hired band or musician. The music is way, wayyy too loud. I don't mind live music, but it can't be so loud that you are unable to enjoy the company. Patrons should be able to talk to the person or the people next to them without being drowned out by the music. I recently came with friends for drinks and we were having a great time for the first 10 minutes we were there, but when the music started, we couldn't hear each other talk at all. So we just sat there quietly, drowned out to mediocre music. We all had another drink and then left. Might be a better idea to have the music loud enough to be slightly above background noise, but low enough where you can reasonably talk and listen to those around. Even ordering at the bar was tough. We would yell an order at the bartender, who would yell at back for confirmation. Often, exchanges in this dialogue included "what was that?"

Unfortunately, my experiences during the day have been the complete opposite, and both involved the same server, Tania B. The first incident occurred when I ordered my usual meal: the Steak Frites, cooked medium rare with the mushroom peppercorn gravy. When my meal arrived without mushrooms, I politely mentioned that it normally comes with them. Rather than checking with the kitchen or simply explaining the dish, Tania immediately insisted that it had never included mushrooms. I even asked if the recipe had recently changed because I had been there the previous week and it was served with mushrooms. She walked away, returned with a menu, tossed it on the table, and said, "It doesn't say mushrooms." Her tone and attitude were unnecessarily dismissive and unprofessional. Ironically, when I returned another evening and ordered the exact same dish, it was served with mushrooms. Today (7/31/26), I returned for lunch and, unfortunately, Tania was my server again. I ordered the Steak Frites medium rare, but it arrived closer to medium-well or well done. I politely explained that it wasn't cooked as ordered. She took the plate back, returned a few minutes later, and told me, "That's how it's going to be. Take it or leave it. The chef is the owner, and that's his message." I mentioned that last time she told me it didn't come with mushrooms and clearly there's mushrooms on my dish. She responds with, well sometime it does and sometimes it doesn't. I'm like so inconsistency is a thing here? She replies with if that's how you want to see it. I asked if I could speak with the owner directly, and she responded that he was "too busy making food" and refused to let me speak with him. My friend and I paid for the rest of our meal and were preparing to leave when I noticed another employee in the kitchen. I asked if he was the owner, and he explained that he wasn't and that the owner was actually downstairs. I simply asked if I could have Nick's phone number or email so I could share my concerns. The employee kindly said he would see what he could do. While we waited, Tania approached us multiple times in a confrontational manner instead of allowing us to wait peacefully. Rather than focusing on the guests seated at her bar, she seemed more interested in arguing with customers who had legitimate concerns. Throughout both visits, she displayed poor customer service, responded with attitude when simple requests were made (even something as basic as asking for a side of ranch seemed to annoy her), dismissed concerns instead of trying to resolve them, and escalated situations that could have been handled professionally in less than a minute. What makes this especially disappointing is that the restaurant itself is excellent. The food is consistently great, and Mario provides some of the best service I've experienced anywhere. Unfortunately, one employee can dramatically impact an otherwise outstanding restaurant. If Tania is, in fact, a manager as I was told, it's concerning. A manager should be setting the standard for hospitality, resolving guest concerns professionally, and de-escalating situations--not arguing with customers or making them feel unwelcome. I truly hope ownership addresses this because Pour Company deserves better representation than what I experienced. I would love to continue supporting this restaurant, but I will be avoiding daytime visits as long as this level of service continues.

However, my review is based on the prices and food quality. I ordered the birria tacos, which unfortunately did not meet my expectations. The meat contained excessive fat and had an unusual taste, suggesting the use of low-quality meat. Additionally, I ordered a cheeseburger with fries, but the meat was not cooked to my desired level of doneness. I also found the onion ring burger to lack flavor. Our total bill came out to be $70 for three meals, two orange juices, and one lemonade. Notably, the complimentary conchitas served before our meal arrived were the highlight of our dining experience. Given the prices, I expected a higher standard of food quality. I decided to give Loaded Cafe a try on two separate occasions, and unfortunately, both visits were far from pleasant. On the second visit, we ordered the red and green chilaquiles, but they were, to put it mildly, a mess. The flavors were off, and the presentation felt careless. The service didn't help either. Our server Jose P. seemed to be in a rush, barely acknowledging us, and it took ages for our coffee to arrive. To add to the frustration, it appeared they selectively decide who gets the complimentary sweet bread basket, something we didn't receive despite seeing other tables with it. After two tries, I'm not interested in coming back. There are far better breakfast options in the area. read more

First time at Loaded Cafe. We had been wanting to check it out since they opened and we finally did. There was no wait for a table of two on a Saturday afternoon which was a nice surprise for us. The place is clean and the service was great. Josefina took care of us and she made sure to explain the menu and answered our questions since again this is our first time here. Lot's to chose from at a decent price. I've been here 3 times, ordered different items and they were all good and well served. They serve complimentary chips, salsa and beans. You definitely don't get that at Denny's or IHOP. Ruby was our waitress and she is just awesome. Walls with encouraging words, management that thanks you taking time to visit, my server Lily and cook Alex who not only checked in on me but gave recommendations about food offerings.
