However, after just a few minutes, Evan informed me that my hardware was in good condition. He only needed to address the "software bloat" to get my computer back in order. He also assured me that once this was done, I would likely have another two years before needing to worry about replacing my computer. We spoke on a Friday, and he kindly asked if I needed my computer back over the weekend or if I was okay leaving it for him to start working on it the following Monday afternoon. I chose to wait until Monday so I could finish a few more tasks. I dropped off my computer on Monday evening and picked it up the next day. Anthony Russo helped me by experimenting with several cords he had and he concluded it was the box of my charger that was bad. Fortunately he had one that worked for my laptop. He was able to diagnose and give me a new cord in less than half hour for $30. I'm glad to finally get this fixed. Anthony Russo has a kind demeanor and easy to talk to. I took my laptop to AIM for repairs where he claimed he could repair it, or clean it up so good, I could send it back to Dell under my warranty. After 4 days, I finally get my laptop back. Take it home and power it up to have the keyboard die on me 5 keystrokes in. I immediately returned to him with the laptop to show him the keyboard no longer worked. While I was there he breaks the space bar off my keyboard in front me, further damaging the laptop. Needless to say I sent the laptop back to Dell and paid them to fix it correctly. Don't learn your lesson the hard way like me. Just take it somewhere reputable, like the manufacturer!

I found Lica on yelp after a disappointing experience with another local PC repair company. This other company told me my hard drive was completely unresponsive and they couldn't get any data off of it and recommended a hard drive recovery specialist in Livermore to get my data (years of photos and files) and it would probably cost around $2000. I asked about repairing my PC with a new hard drive, they told me the motherboard and the power supply and video board was toast as well and estimated $850 to repair. I went to Lica (LNC Data), Lica recovered most of the data on my old hard drive, some files were unrecoverable but I got perhaps 95% recovered. He charged only $250 for recovering my files. My PC only needed a new power supply and hard drive, total charge $200. The new power supply is higher rated than the old one and the new hard drive has a 5 year warranty! Lica and LNC Data are awesome. I'm so glad I live in Concord, I'll never have a computer problem that can't be solved again. Thanks so much Lica and LNC, you're the greatest! read more

In desperate need of data recovery for my failed NAS device, I turned to Yelp after my local computer shop couldn't even "see" the drive when they attached it to their computer. I called, Lica (owner) asked me several questions, and determined that he could help. Not only was he able to recover all my data, his turnaround time was impressive (next day) and the cost was very reasonable, especially in light of the critical data he was able to retrieve. I will be looking to hire LNC for all our computing needs. Instead of going to your local big box store, give LNC a call first. Lica is a little bit better than the best! :) I don't know if there is anything that he can not fix. I went with my unresponsive laptop to him, in less that 2 hours everything was fixed! My sun dropped his pacifier under the table, he was so kind to bring it back to me! His prices are very acceptable, he can work with you, He fixed mine at a fraction of the cost. The best IT guy around. I know Lica for some time. I met him at my work place where he was taking care of our computers. I work in a dental office and he knows all dental software and digital imaging system. He will " hook you up" really quick and give you very knowledgeable advises. He took the time to research the issue, told me the price he would charge to replace it, then recommended I just buy an external mouse because it was cheaper.
