There are no actual brick and mortar LL stores in my immediate area. I ended up placing an order over the phone from the LL 800 number. I would have to pick up in Ventura. To condense a long story, the wrong flooring was sent to Ventura, from a warehouse on the East Coast. I called customer service. Absolutely no one was either willing or able to help me, It was going to cost me well over $1,000 in fees. To say that I was distraught, is an understatement. I was devastated...but then, I received a call from the Ventura store manager Mark. He never hesitated. Instead, he went above and beyond, got to work, and made it right. I was made whole so that I can get the original flooring that I actually requested. Before Mark, I had already decided never to shop with Lumber Liquidators again. I visited their small showroom as I'm about to renovate a new home. I was super impressed by the quality of their product, and the technical knowledge of their staff. From what I could see, their selection and prices were great too. During my visit, I made the dumb mistake of giving them my contact info. They started repeatedly calling me while I was at work. On one afternoon, I got three separate messages from them from three separate salespeople in about an hour period. Eventually, I had to block their number and they then started emailing me saying they were sorry they had missed me. Good products. Good prices. Zero respect for your privacy and more than willing to be invasive and aggressive and borderline sleezy. Check them out not do not give them your contact information. read more

The guys at the store were great. The issue I have was this was my second trip. First time I could not find the door to the showroom. Scary thing is I had bought flooring from this same location when it was "Lumber Liquidators" but "LL" did not stand out. I ended up buying flooring else where and wish I had been able to find "LL" the first go around. I saw flooring that I preferred but my money was already spent elsewhere. A SIGN IN THE LOT WITH AN ARROW WOULD BE SO HELPFUL. I will still send people to this location with explicit instruction on how to enter the showroom. read more

I suggest buying flooring elsewhere. I spend close to 4K for flooring for my entire home, plus delivery. Not even two years later, the flooring completely changed color. My partner cleaned the kitchen floor one day, and odd white spots appeared out of nowhere...it was shocking!!! We regularly cleaned these floors with Rejuvenate floor cleaner, specifically made for LVP flooring, and this cleaning was no different. I called customer service and spoke with Destiny, who after a lengthy round of questions ( buyer beware: if you do NOT purchase the cleaning product LL sells, they may deflect any issues with your flooring on a faulty cleaning product) offered to make it right by issuing a store credit for several boxes of flooring, a few beyond what I had originally asked for, which I appreciated. Satisfied with this outcome, we drove 40 miles to pick up the flooring, and I thought the problem was solved. Unfortunately, when we replaced the damaged patch of flooring, it only got WORSE, and this is when we discovered that the " white patch" problem wasn't the problem at all, instead the entire floor had darkened, so it completely awful, as if I had two different colored floors in my kitchen. We mixed up the dark and light boards as suggested...blah, blah, blah. I called LL back and Destiny was off, so I spoke to another rep, explaining the issue and that it was urgent that we get more replacement flooring asap to replace the entire kitchen floor as my partner was starting a new full time job a few days later so his free time would be limited, not to mention that the floor looked more botched than before I lodged the original complaint. No word , so my partner drove 40 miles back south, paid out of pocket for the flooring, and when he asked to get some credited boxes at the retail level was told by the retail rep that LL couldn't give out boxes of flooring at zero cost. This is where I TOTALLY disagree with the lack of customer service protocol here, as the retail rep could easily pull up my account to see that I had spent over 4K in flooring and this flooring is known for being indestructible! Destiny eventually called me back to tell me that several more boxes of flooring were on credit at the store and I explained that we had already paid out of pocket for it, so requested that LL please credit my credit card. She explained that it would have to be approved my a supervisor. This is where I was basically ghosted altogether, so I tried again at the retail level. I asked the gal who answered the phone if we could drive 40 miles, " purchase" the flooring and promptly return it, in order to get the flooring credited to our card. She explained that this would not be possible as it was it was a store credit. She indicated that I would get a call back from the manager, which never happened. I I simply gave up as I don't care to get the runaround any longer and clearly the idea of a negative review was not motivation for them, either. I invite you to look at these photos and see if this is how you want your flooring to possibly look less than 2 years later...probably not! Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the Mont Blanc Pine flooring or this company. You get what you pay for...spend a bit more and look elsewhere because the same retail clerks who sell your LVP flooring by telling you that it is indestructible will then turn around and tell you that indestructible flooring has yet to be created when there is an issue with it. I am only giving 3 stars because Destiny was gracious and accommodating with my original complaint, but it kind of unraveled after that both at the retail and customer service levels ( On the bright side, when the next thing goes wrong with our flooring- which I sadly anticipate- at least we have some boxes on credit.) read more

We returned extra flooring and were told a refund check would be sent in a few days. When that didn't happen, I called the store and was told it would be a few weeks! The same experience was had when we ordered additional materials and was told delivery would be a few weeks out. I paid a deposit and when I called for an update was told nothing would be ordered until it was paid in full and then it would be weeks out. There's no excuse for employees giving incorrect information to clients. I would have gone elsewhere had I known this would be our experience. read more

It's my first time to this location and it is a little bit tricky. you can turn one street too soon next to the railroad tracks and find the back wall with a sign fenced off. Turning the car around there's a parallel Street along the sharp diagonal that goes into the parking lot. This location is really really difficult to reach in an unexpected way. Warehouse space must be really dirt cheap. I don't mind so long as my prices are good. Compared to the big box stores and versus several independent flooring sellers I feel that LL it's pretty good. The staff were instantly attentive right after I entered acknowledging me with remarks that they would be right with me when they finish with their customers already being helped. Professional polite and prompt... Plus they followed up on a regular basis while I was waiting reminding me that they know I'm waiting. What I found really impressive is that compared to every single other flooring place I visited the staff in Ventura was not just simply better but way ahead of the competition in service. What's even more impressive is this high level of service came at a retailer with several of the lowest prices combined with rather extensive selection. The one penalty is the rather interesting location. I ended up buying 600 square feet, a vinyl style that leaned on the inexpensive side because I'm buying for a rental property. It weighed a thousand pounds and was wrapped carefully on a pallet and forklifted onto my truck. My sales rep was polite and persistent about secondary materials or accessory components. I've been the owner of my business in financial services for over 25 years, there were times when we had hundreds of salespeople with dozens who were elite sales professionals. My point being is these guys were pretty good in thier sales routine. To be fair they're not as subtle as in my trade but they still came across as well trained polished professionals for their trade. At any rate I would recommend LL in Ventura without hesitation. I have several income properties in Ventura County and I have several friends and acquaintances who are Real Estate investors. Casually, I'll be sharing my favorable discovery of this business and location with all my friends and investor acquaintances when appropriate. So Why 5 Stars? For me I rarely give five stars with four being usually an excellent recommendation. By my estimate I saved about 30% versus typical average while receiving exemplary service. Within home improvement services and suppliers the Ventura location drops in pretty high. I will mention now that I stopped at another lumber liquidators over in North Hills of to San Fernando Valley. The young lady who helped me was pretty good too. Overall I'd say the hustle in Ventura was a bit more intense and professional. Both are good but venture is better. read more

Martin in the Ventura store was more than helpful. Henry, the installer from Floor Crafters (one of LL Floorings installation companies) was also equally terrific. I can't comment too much on the quality of the flooring yet, because it only got installed a few days ago, but I can comment on the look of it. Unfortunately, I should have paid more attention to the customer review photos than the websites "picture it" software. I don't believe that our new flooring looks anything like what their websites "picture it" photo showed us. We were trying to match existing flooring, and after seeing it installed, it does not and that is very disappointing. My advice to any future customers is to check the customer photos before purchasing your flooring, not their "picture it" photos. read more

Owner's response is a generic response they use on all the negative reviews. My review clearly notes that I tried working with them to no avail. The floor continues to get worse with the current humidity. TERRIBLE quality products! We purchased the RN ENG BAMBO DS Cordova QC 3/8 x 5.12" (SKU: 10052501) flooring. We asked many questions and were assured that LL Flooring conducted extensive research regarding their products. This is not the case. It has been a huge waste of time and money, we have lost thousands of dollars between material and installation, over 1800 sq ft of flooring. As soon as the floor was installed it was creaking, loudly, and soon after it started to warp and bow. Turns out the floor is made of MDF. If LL Flooring does their research as they claim, why do they sell a floor that is made of a material that does not tolerate humidity at a store that serves a coastal city(Ventura, CA). In addition the planks came in two sizes, why is that? And yet it's expected for the planks to be staggered 12 inches, that's nearly impossible when more than half the planks are half size planks. When I reached out to the company, they asked a bunch of ridiculous questions, such as 'Was an adult present during installation?', and ended up blaming installation and not taking any accountability for the poor quality of their product. Don't waste your money buying flooring from LL Flooring. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. read more

Gorgeous!! ...and the team was able to track it down on the east coast and let us know when it was arriving, it came relatively fast considering how long materials are taking with COVID delays. We went back and forth several times to get samples and make our decision. Martin was very patient with us, and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. When we finally decided which floor to install, we opted for LL's installer. Henry and his crew-Derrick and Julian, are worth their weight in gold. Whatever they are being paid is not enough! They were in and out in one day, and installed almost 700 sq ft of floor-including the threshold trims. Super polite, careful (I had just painted the walls and there was not a scuff or scratch on them), and they even cleaned up everything before they left. The installers are really booked up right now, but if you can wait a few weeks, I highly recommend you not hesitate to hire them. The flooring is beautiful, and it's DONE. And done right! This time my husband and I were greeted by Jose who was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He offered us free samples to take with us home. After choosing a high-grade waterproof flooring, I decided to buy one box. I was disappointed that it didn't match our existing flooring. When I returned it, I was surprised that they refunded my money back. Other places don't accept open boxes. Jose and his supervisor, Martin have great customer service. read more

Amazingly LL does not offer referrals to install their flooring making it that much more difficult for the consumer to complete a project. We had been shopping for flooring for our new home up in the Bay Area but we had to do some of our shopping here locally at chain stores because it's hard to go up there while we are still living in Ventura. We hit the jackpot with LL Flooring because not only did we find a floor we loved in our price range that checked all the boxes (wood, nail in, flush nosings, and perfect thickness) but we were taken care of by Jose, who coordinated the order and delivery to the Pacheco store like clockwork (even expedited part of it) and kept me informed the entire process. So knowledgeable, pleasant, and professional! (It's sad but that combination is not as easy to find these days.) When he was not available, the rest of the staff jumped in and knew what was going on the whole time and were equally helpful and caring. I will be writing a separate stellar review for the Pacheco store because everything went smooth on that end as well with my installer picking it all up with efficiency but just know that you are in great hands here! Well, I had to give this a little time. Still feeling a bit overwhelmed by the process. Here we go. Bottom line, I would go straight to the installers and cut out the well intended but wholly incompetent middle man. Positives: LL staff was always polite, friendly, and curteous. Martin did his best to compensate for the multitude of errors of others but ultimately was outmatched. Negatives: *Flooring is curbside delivery. If you are older or have any health issues or in our case live in a townhouse without a functioning elevator, understand that you will be responsible for hauling the flooring into your home so it can acclimate. My 64 year old husband and I (57) were not told of this little bit of info and we ended up carrying 2,000 pounds (40lb boxes) + of flooring up five flights of stairs (two weeks after having COVID). *Not all flooring was included. Bullnose for stairs was not included/ nor were there any baseboards. (later baseboards were comped due to ordering error). *Bullnose: add'l bullnose had to be ordered from Utah because there wasn't enough on site, because it was never ordered. Major mix ups there too but eventually arrived. *Installers arrived 2 weeks after they were initially estimated to do the job. They were there for 3 days and informed me they had another job to get to and left without doing the stairs or finishing the baseboards. Called foreman and he said he ordered another crew over (losing a day) and they stayed until the job was done. *Watch for refunds due. My husband and I did all of the demo and grinding of the floors. You could eat off of them. We paid up front for the diamond grinding just in case we weren't able to do the job. We were there the whole time and there was almost no grinding but they claimed they did about an hour of grinding. Getting the money back from the installers was a pain in the butt. Apparently (again starting from square one of the ordering process) the amounts had been changed on the order so they were different than what my invoice said and what they actually charged me. They also charged us for installing quarter round on the baseboards but did not include that when they ordered/comped the baseboards, therefore never installed them. All of this would have been ignored had we not called and pressed them on amounts. All in all over $800 that they would have happily kept for themselves had we not pushed for it. Don't bother calling the LL store either when it comes to issues with the installers. Once the job is turned over to the subcontractors, they are hands off and will tell you that none of the installation is within their control. Again, just find an installer you can trust, order the flooring and go with them. Just cut out the middle man. I have learned this the hard way. Maybe I have saved some of you the headache that is LL flooring. I also must state that given the nightmare of this process, Martin was truly doing his very best to remedy the incompetence of others. He is a professional surrounded by at least one staff member that really does not understand his job. To Martin, thank you. Please hire staff that represents your work ethic. read more

This store was recommended by my contractor/installer. It's in Ventura and is not easy to find, but it's worth the effort for sure. I drove up there from Camarillo one recent Saturday to see in person the vinyl plank samples I had viewed on the web site. The showroom is not a large space, especially when it's full of people like me visiting on a weekend, and there appeared to be only two sales people. Since I had already looked at the web site and chosen what I wanted, I took a sample and left. When I was ready to deal with placing an order, I had several phone conversations with Martine who was so very helpful in his dealings with me. Knowing nothing about the product and installation of it I had many questions, and he very patiently explained everything to me. If a return phone call was required he was prompt in returning that call. In fact, everyone I've dealt with there has been extremely personable and respectful in every way. I must admit, I was skeptical about buying my hardwood flooring here. The saying, "You get what you pay for," nagged in the back of my mind. Mixed reviews on the Internet gave me some hesitation. However, I have to say, I had a great experience buying my flooring here. I researched prices and quality and settled on Brazilian Cherry Hardwood from Lumber Liquidators. I decided to go with my own licensed flooring installation expert rather than the network LL provides. The reviews on their site of actual customers, from Do-it-Youselfers to people like me who bought the material and hired out the labor - raved about the Bellawood Brazilian Cherry. I also spoke to my flooring installer who said that their stock has greatly improved and tends to have very little waste. Years ago, LL did not have a great reputation, but nowadays, my flooring pro told me, he would not hesitate to install Bellawood's product. Customer service was really great. They Fed-Exed my bullnose pieces, a salesperson personally drove to my house and exchanged a mistakenly ordered piece AND they sent me a check for the balance that was refunded to me based on the difference for the exchange. On top of that, when a few days later Bellawood had a huge sale, the store manager, I think his name is Jeremy - credited back my card the difference of what I paid vs. the new sale price! All in all, I could not be more pleased with Lumber Liquidators. Dirt cheap price, fantastic quality and great customer service. read more

If this was regarding the Ventura store I would give a 5 especially due to Jeremy's efforts. I gave a 1 because I had to finish my order in the new Santa Barbara store and am unable to move forward with 5 kids living in this remodel. Briana is rude and not knowledgeable on the product. She forgot to follow through on our order and after 3 trips to the store we are stuck on the job and unable to move forward. She and another gentlemen went out of there way to make it more difficult than it needed to be rather then just apologizing. They acted entitled and arrogant. It was so appalling that after 3 order from this company I will never do business again. You're better off working with someone who cares about your experience rather than saving a couple dollars. read more

Great place to purchase your flooring. My wife and I went in to look at their flooring. They have a great selection. We did not feel like we were being sold something we didn't want or need. Their sales people are very knowledgeable and were very helpful in selecting our final product. I would have given a 5 star rating, but their people loaded a damaged box of flooring in our truck and did not say anything about it. I do have to say that when we called them about it they were willing to replace it without a problem, but just took a week or so to get it. This was not a problem because it was for a room we were not doing now, if it was it would have delayed the job completion date. They also have an installer list. The first recommendation was a flake, too busy to return calls and even show up to scheduled measurement appointments. The second was top notch (Custom Floors by Jim Jordahl). DO NOT use #LumberLiquidators for flooring. We had them install new flooring throughout our home and a few of the boards separated which needs to be repaired. We have been trying since December to have these repairs done. Apparently the installers who installed our flooring are no longer affiliated with them and the current installers they have just don't have the time. REALLY? ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was just told by Catherine, the department manager I have the option of finding my own installers or contractor to come out and I could send her the estimate to see if they would take care of it. The LL in Ventura has terrific employees! I was in WalMart Sunday and followed a man with a Lumber Liquidators shirt out of the store. We happened to park next to each other. As we drove out of the parking lot I could see him stop at the light and he seemed to be looking for something in his car next to a homeless man with a sign. The Lumber Liquidator employee handed him some money and kind words. What a great guy and when I need new flooring I am going to go to LL and ask for Martin. I had to call this morning to tell the manager what a great guy he had working for him and Martin picked up the phone.
