I love this place. Bummed that the outdoor seating isn't set up yet because it's such a beautiful day, but looking forward to it soon! Lizzie's is always a must stop for us whenever we're in town and I recommend it to everyone. When the weather gets there, it's right next to the centennial fountain too, so that's always a fun thing to see. Our servers are always fantastic and always do the perfect amount of checking in which very much is an art form! I think the best deal they have is their double dog basket. Two Chicago Dogs and fries are a perfect combo at a perfect price. Also, right now, it's the perfect time to be "sick" at work and come and watch all the games for March Madness on all their TVs!

Located in a beautiful spot off the river with indoor and outdoor seating. Our hostess was kind and tried to help us find a spot outside with good shade. Our waitress brought us waters and then came back to take our order which was nice cause it was toasty out. There was a bit of a wait for food but it was Saturday so I'm sure they were busy in the kitchen. Everyone liked their lunch but it was nothing to rave about by any means. Everyone loved the soft pretzel. My mom didn't enjoy her Ruben said meat was cut too thick and it was chewy. Maybe would have given 4 stars but we unfortunately had an unpleasant experience with our server. She was not welcoming or attentive and didn't check in often. She was also just very unfriendly and gave us some sass even to my niece who is only 11. After waiting for our check for a while and not seeing our server anywhere we eventually stood up and went near the hostess stand to look for her to pay the bill which she was not happy about just very passive aggressive and lots of eye rolls. I'm not a local so I don't have any alternative recommendations but there is a lot in the area. Really close by was Chicago Burger Co which looked great.

Chicken Bacon Ranch Salad & cosmopolitan

Worst Cosmo ever but it's an Irish pub I should've known better lol. The chicken bacon salad surely made up for it! It was delicious. My husband and I were trying to kill time before our flight. This place is located directly by the Sheraton so we decided to try it. We were excited to see tater kegs in the menu as those are a fave of ours. They were delicious! Our server was very attentive. It was a busy Sunday afternoon but she made sure we were taken care of. We ended up taking the salad and kegs to go and ate them on the plane. So yummy!

Our server was amazing, we had a large group of ~10 and our server consistently checked in on us and made sure we all had drinks and food as quickly as she was able to (it was a PACKED bar that night). I tried the Ruben roll, it was pretty tasty; I would definitely order it again. The cocktails weren't great but it wasn't a big deal as we decided to just stick to beer after that. This is a fun spot for a quick drink and apps.

A fun and chill place to hang out with friends. It's usually open till 1:30 am. They also give free popcorn, which is cool. We didn't eat here, but I grabbed a beer with my friends. The service was quick and good too.

Stopped into Lizzie McNeill's and was disappointed to find they didn't have any draught beers available -- definitely a letdown for an Irish pub. We ended up with bottled beers and wine instead. The wine itself (a Syrah) was actually pretty decent, but it was served in a plastic cup, which took away from the experience. Overall, not a terrible stop, but definitely not what I was hoping for.

Cozy gem in the heart of Chicago, perfectly located right across from the Marriott and along the Chicago River. If you're looking for a laid-back atmosphere with great food, drinks, and a touch of Irish charm, this is the spot! The setting is warm, with a welcoming interior and a stunning riverside patio that's perfect for enjoying a pint with a view. Whether you're visiting during a summer evening or braving the chill for a winter Guinness, the ambiance never disappoints. The food is classic pub fare with an Irish twist. From their hearty shepherd's pie to crispy fish and chips, everything hits the spot. They also have a solid selection of beers, whiskeys, and cocktails to pair with your meal. Service is on point as well. It's the perfect spot for a casual meal, happy hour with friends, or even just a quick drink while taking in the sights of the city. I'll definitely be back next time

Situation right next to the Sheraton Grand, just take the escalators all the way and walk towards the Burger place and exit the double doors towards the river. Great service, serval servers from Ireland this summer. Awesome patio section next to the river, for the perfect non-muggy summer nights. Patio closes at midnight. Happy hour- Mon-Thur from 3-6pm!

We walked over from The Sheraton Grand since the hotel has limited food options. We waited only about 10 minutes on a Friday night and the wait staff was super friendly. Huge selection of beers and cocktails. We stayed with the Guinness BBQ wings which were crisp and moist and very tasty. Also tried the Chicken and Chips which was a huge amount of chicken fingers and fries. Had buffalo sauce on the side which they needed as the breading did not have much flavor. Other people in my party had burgers which they said were very good. This place is a great Irish bar located along the Chicago River. I want to come back in the summer as they offer lots of seating along the river with great views of the city.

Relaxed Irish pub along Chicago River. Outside seating is available. I enjoyed the Shepherds Pie.

The staff was nice and had us seated right away in a half moon booth that viewed several of the TV's over the bar and two on each side of us. We were locked in and ready. Their beer list was good and had some local brews along with several styles. I had a couple Hopular Kid Pale Ale from Alter brewing (Downers Grove, Illinois). My son had the kids pancakes at $10.99 and ended up with leftovers. I had the Fried Chicken sandwich - buttermilk breaded crispy chicken, spicy bread & butter pickles, carolina mustard BBQ sauce, shredded iceberg (with tots extra $1) on a brioche bun. The sandwich was sizable with chicken overflowing from the bun. The BBQ sauce that came with it was ok. The entire experience just reminded me of your typical Tavern you can pretty much find anywhere. The menu ranged from soups/salads, burgers, apps, sandwiches and entrees. They had a small Chicago favorites section I probably should have tried, but nothing was really jumping out at me. We had a good solid experience. Non rushed, decent bathrooms, kind and prompt staff and alright food. Convenience of TV's for football made this place a perfect spot to enjoy and eat. Thanks guys!

After walking around Chicago Loop area and all the selfies at The Cloud Gate in Millennium Park taking a break would be nice as that was a great highlight of my time in Chicago which wasn't close to being over yet and having it right across from the park it was very convenient and a great spot that gave it the tavern/gastropub vibe. With the timing they were also celebrating Oktoberfest as well with Bratwurst and Bavarian Pretzel I opted for a Half Sandwich and Soup of the Day which was Pumpkin and what an absolute comforting bite even with the hotdog I had earlier and my Salmon BLT sandwich was a winner for sure. Everyone's dish looks absolutely amazing along with the service. It was great and I am so glad that we made this stop as it seems to have something for everyone to enjoy at a great price. Highly recommended especially with a lot of walking to give this place a try that's right across from Millennium Park. Thank you!

Dark, grungy, feeling like a German Octoberfest Pub with beer signs and signed pictures on the walls, I love it. At first we were seated in a small table next to a family who was letting their kids run wild in the restaurant, slamming plates and glasses, so that wasn't going to fly. Asked the host to move us, he said no problem, and we got a much better table away from said family, and it was great, totally changed the experience for the better. Our server was friendly, helpful, talkative, and was prompt with delivering food. I got the Chicken Pot Pie, which wasn't like any other I've had, super creamy, nicely filled with trimmings, light bread crust, and warm to the soul.
