    Shepherds pie and fried fish.

Omg the Shepherds Pie was AMAZING! Really wonderful spices and consistency. The ground lamb flavor really came thru. Fish and chips close second. Great service. A little smidge loud but it is a bar.

Solid place to grab a beer and/or dinner. Downstairs bartender was friendly as was the hostess when I walked in. There were plenty of servers for a slow Sunday night. Neat setup with another full bar upstairs and tons of booths. I would like to see what it's like as a social spot on a Saturday night. There are TVs but it's not quite a sports bar. They were playing music instead of football audio, but that's not necessarily a knock. Shepherds pie and fish and chips were both good, as was the lava cake. Beers are reasonably priced at $7-9 and there's a large selection if you go to bottles/cans instead of the 8 or so options on draft.

We piped in here for a quick drink. Our local coworkers took us here since she's been here before. They have two levels of bars and seating so lots of space to come and grab a quick drink. They had great bar seats and a good drink selection. They had TV's so you can check out the game and tons of tables.

Always a must when family is in town! We come here for the amazing claddagh wings (the sauce is sooo good) and this time we shared a pretzel. It comes with bacon jam, mustard, and beet cheese even better! Drinks are always great, no matter what you get and feels like a real Irish pub! The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. Service is always up to par, with friendly staff. You must try! We'll be back soon!

My husband I came here for dinner on a beautiful Sunday night! We got to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the sights and sounds of our amazing city. For an appetizer we shared the giant pretzel. The bacon jam that comes with it is out of this world. For dinner we both got the corned beef and it was excellent. Ignore the bite out of the sandwich. I forgot to take a pic when it showed up! I highly recommend this place!

The ambiance is an Irish pub. We were there around 4pm on a Wednesday and the place was lively. There was a huge group soon as you walked in having a drink together. They also had the big soccer game on. Most of the booths were taken. We got one of the last booths and we were greeted soon as we sat down and our order was taken. Soon as our order was taken someone else brought us waters. My honey ordered an Irish Coffee. He thought it was really good and loved the shaved nutmeg on the top. I highly recommend this pub.

Went here due to the good reviews but we were kinda disappointed. The Fish and Chips were "Meh" and I got the Mac n Cheese and the menu failed to mention it was spicy!!!! Very heavy handed with the Red Pepper Flakes!!!!! I like to enjoy my food not have to take a drink of water after each bite. The did have a Yummy Old Fashion on the drink menu. If you are wanting a good Irish Pub I seen others in the Chicago area that may be a better choice. Sorry

We highly enjoyed our experience at the kerryman! Made a reservation for a group of six in advanced online and added on the toddler when we arrived. The entire building is very beautiful with multiple floors differentiating bar from restaurant area. Our Sunday server was super sweet and she was incredibly attentive with us and accommodating with the toddler. Better yet the food was delicious! I ordered the shepherds pie on a rainy Sunday afternoon and was very impressed by the flavors and presentation of the food. What's more is the bread that came with it, incredibly delicious, it's been on my mind all week

    1. Food was tasty and quantity was good. It came in big trays. 2. We had 15-20 mins waiting on weekday. We opted to sit outside, it was a good weather so it was quite pleasant. However, I felt that if you are ordering dinner, the table is quite small. We were just 3 people on 4 ppl table but still we had diffculty. The server cannot walk through lane if carrying food so usually they walk by roadside and then enter near the table. Inside restaurant there is bar and dinning area too. 3. Service was good, server came time to time check if we were enjoying food and need something more. Servers have costume. 4. For 2 cocktails, 1 coke and 1 appetizer and 3 dinner meals. We got check of $140 (+ tips) I hope this review is helpful. Thank you!

Warm and lovely British pub with delicious pies and efficient service…read more My dining partner and I tried the mushroom and kale and the rocking vegan pies. The mushroom and kale pie was nice and cheesy and the rocking vegan pie was more savoury, with a variety of vegetables and chickpeas as stuffing. The crust was neither too soft nor too crunchy. The highlight of the meal was the curry chips: potato wedges lightly fried with masala and curry leaves. The dipping sauce that came with the chips reminded me of tikka masala sauce, and paired beautifully with the chips. Dessert was toffee pudding: the caramel sauce that came with the pudding was delectable - the pudding itself was excellent and not overly sweet. We tried a variety of NA beers, and I was pleased with how many options they had. Service was quick, and we were well looked after. The ambiance is warm, with dim-ish lighting and a lot of dark wood. The restrooms were gorgeous - special shoutout to the lovely floral wallpaper. Overall, I highly recommend Pleasant House - the vibe is chill and understated and the food is stellar.

The sausage was very tasty, the breading on the outside was incredibly crisp, light, and the egg inside was cooked well. Both the steak pie and the chicken pie were very good. The chicken pie I think really needed the chutney that you can get separately. But that made it so much better and made it my preferred pie. The steak and ale pie was better than the chicken pie as a standalone, but needed a bit more gravy I think to elevate it. Sticky toffee pudding again was delicious. Surprisingly light, not overly dense so I was glad it came with the custard which was very flavorful. Overall, will definitely return!

I had been wanting to try Industry Ales when it opened and was glad to have had the opportunity to finally check it out! I was slightly thrown off, as the dining tables are at the front of this space, and the bar is all the way at the back. In fact, my friend at first glance thought it was a sit-down dining establishment sans bar seating. We found our way to the bar and posted up at two seats. We were offered menus right away and found the bartender extremely knowledgeable. This was super helpful when facing down an encyclopedia of ales. He offered samples when we explained what we were looking for. That is service above and beyond, especially on a bustling Friday early evening. The brews were tasty, but I couldn't really discern what I was drinking apart to say it was a lighter Belgian Ale. Wine is more in my wheelhouse, but always good to change things up, especially when a person has the opportunity to be guided by an expert. The people seated nearby had ordered the tuna tartare which looked delicious. In fact, all of the menu is globally influenced (think: pizza samosas, pierogis, Korean BBQ) in addition to the classic brewpub favorites. In addition to the Brewpub, this location features the Millroom, a speakeasy-style lounge. I did not have a chance to check that out on this visit. Definitely a cut above the usual sports bar and a place to expand one's knowledge of brews.

We were there on Friday, so the fish and chips were all-you-can-eat. So crispy on the outside and flakey on the inside. So yummy. The chips were crispy and paired perfectly with the fish splashed with the malt vinegar. The green peas were good, but my favorite was the Stovies. If you've never had proper Stovies, this is your chance to try them. Potatoes and onions with bits of roast kind of like mashed potatoes or a very thick stew. So yummy. Whiskey fans, you'll love the huge selection along with the impressive beer selection. Yelp should really hype this as a whiskey bar, too. It more than qualifies. The cuisine is phenomenal. Definitely a place to bring a large party on your first visit, so you can sample a multitude of wonderful creations. Pro Tip: if you can tolerate a large quantity of fish, visit on a Wednesday for their AYCE Fish & Chips. I've had many hum drum AYCE dinners that are drab and only fill you up. Not this one. It's a great meal and a great deal. The Shepherd's Pie was fabulous, as was the Bangers and Mash. They've created a Haggis Burger that has to appease Americans, yet, still be haggis. A tall order since most would hate "true" haggis. Fear not, it's not your grandfather's haggis, it is a tasty burger. The fries were great but I'd recommend the Tattie Skins. We tasted so many different malts it was hard to pick a favourite. No foolin' they had island malts, highland malts, speyside and even a couple from the lowlands. Easy to spend over two hours in this public house. We did. Can't wait to get back to this town. This is a must! 02/26
