Within the first 4 months the cushions were sagging and the couch was piling on the fabric. I called to see if they could fix and they had me send pictures. At first they said it wasn't issues with manufacturing and after 4 more months said they would look at having it fixed for me. I couldn't get an answer to get it scheduled and ONE day after the year mark they said it was out of warranty. I now have a 3k couch that we don't use sitting in my front room. Needless to say they don't back up their products. I will never give them another dime. Fees, Fees, Fees!!! I've purchased several times with LS over the past eight years. A few thousand dollars for sure. I bought a sofa and it was not as comfortable as the one in the store. After two-days I was ready to exchange it for a different sofa at LS. To get the first one I spent $139 delivery with an added tip to the drivers of $60. (That's on me) to return it and exchange it for another sofa if would be $119 to pick up the one I got the other day, a 10% restocking fee because other choice is a tad cheaper, another $139 delivery fee!!!! Do the math! I spent half the value of the sofa on FEEs!!!! So, new sofa is going back ($119) and I'm never spending another dollar at Living Spaces anywhere!!! We bought a couch Dec 2019 and we bought the warranty. Fast forward to spring 2024 and a lot of the seams are fraying. No big deal, right? We have a warranty that was still good. Nope- we sent pictures and explained that multiple parts of the couch had fraying seams and we were told that that is normal wear and tear. I have never had a couch split at the seams through average/ gentle usage and have that sub-standard of craftsmanship. I recently went into the store and ordered a complete bedroom set. Everything was ordered and I was told I would have a delivery date approximately a month away. After 3 weeks I received a call stating that the dresser I ordered had been dropped from inventory and I would have to choose something else. In other words, I would no longer have a matching set. Keep in mind that when I ordered the furniture I also paid for it. Crazy me for not thinking that something I had paid for would somehow no longer be available. When I called the toll free number I was told someone from the local store would call me within the hour. Never happened so I ended up driving across town to try to find a solution. I spoke with one of the floor managers who walked me back to the cashier. There was no solution if I wanted my furniture to match. I cancelled my entire order and left feeling like not one person even cared. I will take my business elsewhere. If you are looking for great customer service, items that will be delivered even after you've paid for them, or the feeling that they care about you as a client then this is not the place for you. Ordered a couch and coffee table on January 2, finally got it January 25th. They gave us a delivery date but we asked for a few days later due to our travel schedule. About five days before the scheduled delivery date they contacted us to remind us of the upcoming delivery date. Two days before that delivery date they contacted us to tell us they couldn't make the date and said it would be delayed 7 to 10 days. Then a few days later they contacted us again to schedule a delivery date, BUT there was an extra charge unless we were willing to wait an additional 5 days. Had to make a trip to the store to argue with them that the delay in delivery was their issue, not ours, so we should get it delivered ASAP at no additional cost. Eventually they agreed and delivered it the next day at no additional cost. Their original argument was the extra fee was because they charge extra for Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday deliveries. So, they made it right but it took extra time and stress from me to get them to do the right thing. read more

Last month the wife and I went to living spaces to look at couches. They had several models that looked like they would fit our family's needs. We spoke to a sales representative who assured us the product we were ordering was in stock and would ship to our home by 16 Feb 25 we ordered the couches on 26 Jan 25. We had spoke to the sales rep about how we previously had gone to American furniture warehouse and ended up having several delays and that we ended up cancelling our order from them as shipping kept getting delayed due to stock shortage. We had made plans this weekend to give our old couches to a work friend of my wife's because our delivery was expected to be here this Sunday. Well I decided to check my email and today 4 days before our supposed shipment is supposed to come I get an email saying there is a delay and that they won't arrive until March. This after being assured that their delivery days for in stock items which the sales associate checked and assured us they had in stock. I am beyond frustrated with these furniture companies who just lie to people just to make a sale. Well my wife is calling to cancel our order and get a refund. Now we have to go waste our time again trying to find couches. Completely dissatisfied with these companies that cannot give an honest accounting especially after telling them I do not want to go through what we went through before and sure enough it's the same thing. I have been tolerating this couch since 2022.. Spending $4,000 obviously isnt enough for these people to care. It was shipped wrong and had to fight to get the correct pieces. Fast forward a year to 2023 and recliners started breaking. The once firm yet fluffy chairs started deteriorating. You cant even call the store directly, which is unreal, probably got tired of complaints. Had to go through a 3rd party to schedule a service. We waited 6 months for parts for two recliners, only to find out they only sent parts for one. Now we wait until the next one It would be 0 stars if I could. We will never purchase from this company again. The warranty process is a nightmare. Made our claim in April, they came out in April. Told us they ordered the part and it will be delivered to our house. Said to then call warranty people back so they can schedule. Followed up at end of May. Said part was ordered but it will take 6 to 12 weeks. Called again today and they said they part wasn't actually ordered till June 10th. So now we have to wait 6to 12 weeks from then. Be aware stay away! I purchased a couch less then 2 years ago. One of the cushions has a depression in it. The warranty company denied my claim and said "resiliency" is not covered. What I liked about it was there were no pushy sales people twisting your arm to buy something. Don't get me wrong, there were sales associates around. Ther only asked if we had any questions. Initial Order (7/10/2024) I placed an order with Living Spaces online and this is my local location. We ordered on 7/10 and we were supposed to get our new couch on 7/26 during the day. At 11 am on 7/26 we got a call that our couch would not be arriving, the wrong couch was shipped to the warehouse and our options were to find something else at Living Spaces or get a refund as they may not have our original in stock and might be still produced. The issue is that we already got rid of our old furniture, we didn't want any other items at Living Spaces, they acted like this was no big deal and lastly, I had a line of credit opened and approved through Living Spaces for the furniture (hard pull on my credit.) 7/26 - I called at 12pm and was told a manager would reach out to me by end of day and at latest 24 hours. I got no communication after that and called 12pm on 7/27. I was guaranteed I would get a call from manager shortly. I called at 3pm, 5pm, 7pm all told the same thing that manager would reach out by end of day. I got nothing back. I am now going to have to go to my nearest Living Spaces to try to get ahold of someone that can help me. I may be stuck with an open Living Spaces credit card to impact my credit negatively, no furniture in my home and the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. I would be very cautious of purchasing from Living Spaces after the experience I have had and still have no resolution. Update (8/7/2024) Still no one has called from their awful customer service department. This alone is enough to consider not buying from living spaces. Unless I wanted to close my credit card and take the hit on my credit, the only option they gave me was to buy something else in store. Update (10/11/2024) We went into the physical store to try to solve the problem after my last update. They were rude and not understanding of our situation. I was consistently being upsold on another couch as they already had my money tied up in a product. My luck, the price had gone up hundreds of dollars and they were adamant that they wouldn't help me out. I asked over and over to speak to a manager and finally after over an hour and a half of back and forth, they were willing to match the price of my first purchase. The couch order took 6 weeks to complete and then it was delivered. Exciting arrival day for the new couch right? Negative. First thing I noticed was on once of the pieces the entire bottom cover (black fabric) was undone from two sides as they stapled it poorly; I had to stretch and re-staple this myself. There was a red stain on one of the pieces. 2 of the legs were broken! One was screwed into a board that was split directly in half and the other was installed crooked to where it wouldn't hold weight. Lastly, one of the backs of the pieces was non-matching fabric that looked discolored. We had to go through the entire process again with the phone calls and they said they would have someone come out to fix it. 2 weeks later a tech comes out to "fix" it and deemed it unfixable after 2 minutes so they would put in a replacement order. We never heard back from anyone. Today is 10/11/2024 and I am just now connected with an agent that has initiated the replacement order. This will be 4-6 weeks again for the piece to be made and sent. That means that IF the couch is delivered in fine condition. I will have my furniture that was ordered 7/10 by 11/10. No consideration of all of my time wasted and the issues of dealing with a broken item... If you want to wait 4 months for your furniture, spend an entire workday of time with customer service, go into the store multiple times to solve your problem and then get a broken product only to do it all over again - Living Spaces is for you. read more

Unfortunately, my mom and I had a poor experience here on Sept 3. We came in to look at a specific bedroom set we saw online and also a cuddler chair. We were greeted by a nice man upon entering while he was helping another customer, which I thought was nice. We immediately loved the bed & matching ottoman when we saw it. My mom wanted to order both during that visit, however we couldn't get anyone to help us back in the bed dept or make eye contact. I have a back injury and have been wanting cuddler chairs. So decided we would check out the chairs we saw online. I tested one chair out and promptly an older, shorter man with gray hair approached us and said they were closing soon and that we needed to leave. He then walked away. There was no "hello", "can I help you?", "can I answer any questions?", nothing. We got out of there as fast as I could walk. That same associate said "goodnight" to us twice LOUDLY as we walked out so we were forced to acknowledge and respond, even thought we just wanted to leave at that point. Many other people were still shopping in the store as it was still open. Another man was even greeted entering the store, as we left. That same night, we went home and ordered multiple pieces of furniture from online instead of purchasing in store. This was not a good experience, and I don't really want to go back. Which is a shame, there is beautiful furniture and I'm sure some nice associates. We also went to American Furniture Warehouse after this and were treated so nicely. It has been in my house over a month now and it still smells, though not as strongly. I bought Air Wick air fresheners and one now lives beside the sofa. Well we're now halfway through August and still don't have our table. Our table was finally ready a couple weeks ago and we were suppose to get free delivery and set up due to our situation. We confirmed our address multiple times, yet they still tried delivering to a different address. We let them know the address was wrong and they said that we must pay a $90 fee....even though it was their mistake. In addition, the guy we talked to over the phone told us that we are no longer getting free delivery and set up because he can't confirm that's what we were told. We had to remove partial insurance on our table just to pay for delivery and set up. This company obviously does not care about customers and I've never had such a disappointing experience. We are both juniors in college and had no intention of buying furniture but the warmth and enthusiasm we were greeted with by the employees made us want to get married and buy a house just so we could furnish it with products from this store. Every single employee was passed was friendly and ready to banter with us. The employees all seemed so happy to be working there that it made us wonder if they were on something. Another perk is that we didn't feel pressured into buying anything by the employees, and that made me want to take out a loan so that I could. They had a beautiful couch selection and I vow to come back to this store when I need to buy a couch in the future. It was not installed correctly and the back leg broke. They also damaged my area rug delivering the furniture. After hours on the phone, they replaced the desk. Due to several issues, they gave me a 20% refund. The desk is damaged, I waited almost two month for repairs (which never should have been authorized if it was Final sale), they repaired nothing said I could return it as it's splitting. Now they won't do anything as they gave a discount. The discount was not an out for a damaged desk. Except living spaces sent me an email saying they would not remove the broken couch. What? So when I place the order for the replacement couch I ask if they can remove the old couch, the sales rep I'm on the phone with says "sure! I'll put a note on the delivery that they need to remove the old couch". Great! Delivery day comes - living spaces refuses to take THEIR broken couch. I get a supervisor on the line who says ' all habitat for humanity, they'll take it!". Habitat for humanity does NOT take broken furniture. Living spaces sold me a defunct couch that was completely destroyed in weeks, and then made ME pay $150 to get said couch removed from my home. Well the last sofa I purchased , I noticed that it was coming apart at seams, I contacted living spaces and was still within the warranty which ended at the end April. I had the sofa for 1 year. They sent me a new cover for that section and it was fine. Well now that same cover ( the one I received in April has come apart even worse than the first one. I was not expecting the entire warranty to still be covered but the replacement has not lasted 3 months. When I contacted living spaces the reply was " it's out of warranty" and the suggestion "that I take it to a tailor to have it repair ". Is not only not acceptable but snarky to say the least. Apparently I can not escalate this complaint. It was suggested that I should have bought the extended warranty. Which I have in past and never used. I would not recommend buying sofas from this company, with the very poor quality of fabric used. Also the lack of caring for a valid customer complaint. Their delivery service is horrible. My delivery time was 11am to 2 pm. I work overnights. So I had my alarm set for 11 am. The delivery service arrived at 10:23am. Knocked on the door and left at 10:30am. I had missed their calls from the delivery service but I was sleeping so their times are not right as they arrived 30 min early even thou my delivery time was 11am-2pm. I called guy back he said he is about 30min away and can return and I needed to call dispatch. No way I can get thru dispatch and waiting for 30 min plus. Very upsetting! Horrible delivery service! Buyer Beware!!!! Yeah, their sales reps are friendly and nice, but once you purchase and leave the store you are totally on your own. We had a sofa delivered with only 3 out of four pillows - how does that even happen? - and we could not even call the store to see if they could rectify this. There is no direct line into the store. After calling their Customer Service in Central America, it finally got resolved, but it took a month. I thought perhaps that on the day of delivery they could have checked with the delivery driver, but since they are half a world away they had no idea about the delivery details.
