This place makes absolutely no sense. Not only did I purchase the additional 5 year extended warranty, but I have been trying to make a claim on my 1-year regular warranty as well. It's been over 2 weeks now trying to submit a claim for the couch pilling SO BADLY that we can't even enjoy sitting on the couch. You'd think that an almost 2,000 sectional would have fabric that's not defective or at least not to this amount. It's IMPOSSIBLE to get anyone on the phone especially from a direct store. Hopefully this review reaches someone so that I will get a response on my issue. I've created 2 claims already, spent hours on the phone and have emailed multiple people. I need a response now. read more

Ordered a new kitchen table several weeks ago...First available delivery date was April 11th. We got our old table out, and logged in to confirm our delivery the evening before, and well...it now reads "Not Scheduled" We called their customer service number and of course were put on a ridiculous hold for 26 minutes. Finally spoke to someone that told us that they had to transfer the other pieces of the set to the closest warehouse and that they couldn't deliver it for another week...WTF? 1) Why was the original date weeks out? 2) Why didn't they have the set all together several days before? 3) Why didn't they notify us of the problem? Oh wait, they told us they left a voicemail to the wrong phone number. 4) Why cant they get it to us sooner than another week? 5) Why cant most companies just do what the hell they say they are going to do? Another crappy corporation that doesn't give a rats ass about it's customers. read more

Super pleasant shopping experience, super lovely customer service people and great delivery. Compared to AFW and Mor this place is a gem! We've had such bad experiences with the others so this is a breath of fresh air. We bought a table from here and took it home same day and it was super simple to put together and is beautiful. We also bought a new bed frame (the kind that moves), bed, dresser and mattress. We got a great deal on the no interest and the delivery guys were really nice and helpful and knew all about the products and answered questions. The bed is really nice, the dresser drawers pull smooth, couldnt really ask for better! Also loved the sales guys who sold us our bed/mattress. No pressure from them, just lots of helpful answers. read more

I don't even want to give one star. I strongly discourage ever buying from Living Spaces. I purchased a sofa from Living Spaces, but could not get it delivered. It was a total fiasco trying to get delivery. When it finally did get delivered, the delivery guys wanted to leave it stuck between my foyer and living room because they couldn't get it to fit. Then Living Spaces said it would take 2-4 weeks for a refund and there would be fees. No customer service at all, just they are right and i am wrong. This has been the worst experience i have ever had. Never again. read more

Still at a ZERO for customer service.... After the drivers took my couch away, they promised someone would call within 5 business days to re schedule, when they would bring my "fixed" couch back....Never happened. I called in today...2 full days after they promised they would call. They are now scheduled to come on Saturday....good thing we will be around with that 6 hour delivery window! Nightmare! Oh and it gets better. My cracked table I spoke about? Yeah. I talked with someone about that today as well. Wanna know what they said? "Oh yes, we have been having problems with that table, we can give you another one" "or you can pick out a different table." (sounds nice right) WHY THE HELL WOULD I EVER GET ANOTHER TABLE, THAT THEY KNOWINGLY HAVE PROBLEMS WITH????!!! I then say "Ummm I don't even know what to say to that?.....I guess I will need to return the table and chairs, and come pick out a new table and chairs, because I want them to all be matching." DO YOU KNOW WHAT SHE SAID NEXT???? "We can't return the table and chairs, as they are different sku numbers...only the table" "Ok....so if I am hearing you correctly, you will not take back the MATCHING chairs, and I will have to now pick out a table that will not match" "Well, you do have the option of getting the same table..." "You mean the one that you know is defective and you are still selling to people?....Yeah no...I'll pass on that" I then asked to speak to a manager or someone that could actually help me....I am still waiting on a call back....who wants to take bets....will they....or won't they call and make it right? My money is on NO, but maybe I will be surprised. read more

Buyer beware! Absolutely the worst customer service ever!! We ordered a recliner late last year. It was finally delivered in January. In April the motor went out. Called and filed a claim. It took them until May 21st to get a repairman here to determine the problem. A new motor had to be ordered and we finally received confirmation on May 30th that the part had been ordered and will ship directly to us. May take up to 8 weeks to receive. Once we receive it, we are supposed to call them and have a repairman return and install it. Absolutely ridiculous!! read more

I would give this 0 starts if I could. One month ago I purchased a $4000 couch from living spaces. The sales person told me I could machine wash the fabric WHICH IS ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS I INVESTED THIS MUCH INTO A COUCH. I told her I had kids and dogs and was concerned about the fabric and she assured me I could machine wash because they unzip. The day comes where it gets dirty and I'm not worried because it's apparently an easy fix. I throw it in the washer as I was assured I could do, and when I pull it out it's completely destroyed and shredded. I know I just bought the couch a month ago so I call living spaces and they basically tell me there's nothing I can do other than buy an entire section of the couch because they don't sell just the fabric covers at this place that sells couches. No replacement covers? On a $4000 couch? This is unacceptable. The solution they gave me is to buy another half of the couch I just bought one month ago after it got ruined after doing what I was told I could do. I'm furious. I'm a single mom and work extremely hard to support my 2 little boys alone and this is just so heartbreaking to me. read more

I just purchased two new feather white couches from living spaces. I waited about six weeks for delivery. Once delivered I noticed within 30 minutes of one of the Couch cushions covering half of the couch was completely missing the feathers and when I sat down on it it felt like sitting on solid wood. I called living spaces and was reassured that they would definitely fix this is the lady I was speaking with could see what I was talking about in the pictures. About 45 weeks went by I never heard a word back from them I called to check up and follow up on the status to find out that they denied my claim. They are not going to replace the cushion that's lacking feathers. You can imagine how I feel now that I've wasted $2000 on a piece of wood. I will never purchase furniture from the store again and I will encourage my family and friends to do the same. Did you not back with integrity their word and what they promise. This is ghetto living furniture. read more

I highly recommend Living Spaces - the best furniture shopping experience. My husband and I went to the store shopping for furniture in multiple rooms. We liked the prices and styles offered with flexibility that satisfied all spectrums of price points. We needed furniture rather quickly to avoid further use of a blow up bed and lawn chairs. We wanted to find the best price without sacrificing quality. We lucked out finding all this at Living Spaces with Andrew P. Andrew was the designer that greeted us and casually started asking what our needs were. He made a sketch of our living room and goals for the room. He walked around to help us determine the style, color, and price point for our living room. He spent the evening with us to help us assemble the rest of our furniture needs for our home. He even stayed late after closing to help us research more products. That night my husband and I researched on our own to only determine we would get the best deal for quality and price at Living Spaces. We went back the next morning to buy everything we needed from Andrew. He took his time with us to help us find the best items for US! We had no intention of buying furniture at Living Spaces but Andrew made us feel at ease with the process and helping us style of rooms. He knows his stuff!! All the staff we interacted with at Living Spaces were helpful and provided superb customer service. We will be returning to Living Spaces to buy other furniture as we are loving our new purchases! read more

Buyer Beware! This is totally crap furniture! Even buying the protection plan leaves you hanging. Decided they would replace my broken recliner (4 months old, no kids, no pets) and I thought "Awesome, this is wonderful, finally". The delivery driver did little more than shove the new one in the door and leave, they will not take back the broken one. We are left with a broken recliner that I have no way of hauling anywhere. So once again Living Spaces disappoints. read more

I'm disgusted by Living Spaces and their treatment of customers. We purchased a sectional, ottoman, and rug from them, two years ago. We were also talked into purchasing the extended warranty. What a joke. All of the cushions are less than half of their original size because feathers poke out EVERYWHERE. It's ridiculous. We filed a claim and the warranty dept has given us the run around for the last 6 weeks. They never call back when they say they are going to, forcing my husband to call back, and lie and say they left messages when they don't. They finally told him that they intended to deny the claim because they do not cover normal wear and tear. Normal wear and tear is NOT having feathers cover the couch so it is white instead of grey. After getting no help from the warranty department we called and left a message for the Santan store. They also gave us the runaround and told us a manager would contact us by the end of the day two weeks ago. What a surprise that we never got a call. We are having a party this weekend and my husband decided to go into the store with one of the cushions on Monday to find out what exactly they expect us to do. The operations manager was there, I believe her name is Adriana. My husband sat the cushion down in front of her and asked her how that was normal wear and tear. She admitted that it was not. She also stated that the maker of the couch was now out of business so that is probably why the warranty department didn't bother calling us back. Are you kidding me? How is that the fault of the customer if one of your manufacturers is no longer in business and we purchased the extended warranty?? She claimed that she would make the situation right and asked my husband to give her 48 hours to look into the situation. Of course it is now over the 48 hours, and we have not received a response. He has emailed and left her a voicemail. I will never purchase anything else from living spaces again, and I will tell all my friends and family the same thing. We have purchased furniture from numerous other companies and have never been treated this way. Edited later the same day: My husband went back in the store after they once again did not call us back. Now they say that there is nothing they can do for us and that the warranty never covers any of their down furniture. Why would their salesperson tell me I needed it then?! read more

I have never in my life been so frustrated. I feel used. We purchased a dining room set from living spaces and purchased the warranty. BIG MISTAKE. We received a damaged table straight out of the box - shattered and completely unusable. Filed a warranty claim and we are now getting the run around. One person said its not covered because we opened the box - so now it's our fault. Well how the heck are we supposed to determine we recieved something damaged if we didn't open the box??? Now that person's "manager" is saying we have to open the box within 7 days or else the warranty is voided. Guess what? That is stated nowhere in the warranty policy. Where to start, where to start. We have had horrible experiences with Living Spaces for the past 3 years, but still find ourselves buying from them due to the quality and variety of options, and then kicking ourselves. WARNING TO ANY POTENTIAL SHOPPERS. 3 years ago, we purchased a couch and coffee table. Simple enough. Then we went back that week to purchase a TV table from the same collection. The order was set to deliver in 4 weeks, due to the couch coming from overseas on a "shipping container." Four weeks later, the crew arrives with our coffee table and nothing else. I was livid. No one on the phone could tell me where my couch was, where my tv table was, or when I would get it. another 4 weeks later, the couch and tv table arrived. The crew damaged our front door and pillar with the couch. Strike 1-10. Last year, we were looking for an addition to the living room to fill an empty space and decided, for whatever dumb reason, to head back to living spaces. Instantly, we found an oversized chair (loveseat) and decided to get a CUSTOM order *don't ever do that if you want to see your furniture again*. We ordered the couch in denim with yellow pillows. Custom orders are due to take 4-6 weeks, I was told. At week 7, I called to ask for an update and, after being transferred three times, was told that they did not have a location on the chair, but would call me back the next day. 24 hours, and NO RETURN CALL, later my husband went to the store where the employees apologized profusely for the idiocy of the call center folks. Within two minutes, he found out that our couch had been sitting in the warehouse in Phoenix for three weeks. No call, no notification, nothing. The next night we went to pick it up because hell no we aren't dealing with delivery again, and one of the pillows is neon blue, the other is yellow. Strike 10-20. Now comes our most recent crapstorm. We had been shopping for a new mattress for months, waiting to pull the trigger. We decided on a Tempurpedic and after visiting the tempur store found out that LS had a Free Delivery and $300 bounceback promo ongoing (we're like addicts to horrible service, I guess). So yesterday, like fools, we motored over to LS to check it out. When we arrived, all team members were busy and we were greeted by a man named Dean, who admitted he was a fill-in and didn't know the details of the department, ya think? He told us about every wrong detail he could, wouldn't stop talking or take input and then proceeded to try to order the wrong mattress, after I had told him twice which one we wanted. He was pushy about the bases, trying to upsell us when another individual, Jon, came over and they bickered about everything, looking like idiots. After 45 minutes of trying to find a bed cover, Dean telling us we get our promo card today, the warranty is 20 years, we can't return the mattress, trying to charge us for delivery - ALL WRONG, we finally got our 'bed cover' that was holding up the order time and scheduled delivery for next week. Fine, whatever, just get me the hell out of the store. Nope, we then have to walk to the cashier to get a promo card that will be activated AFTER we receive the mattress and base. The cashier then tells Dean he was wrong, he can't schedule our order for delivery until it is in the warehouse. That's when I lost my marbles. I proceeded to tell her about the above incidents and that we wouldn't leave without a delivery date or more information because I had zero confidence the mattress would ever arrive, with good reason. Katherine, Ops Lead was the only helpful and reassuring human in the store, and let me know that she would call me when it arrives to schedule delivery. Strike - 2028402384 why are we doing this to ourselves? I left exhausted, irritated, and still wondering why we do this to ourselves. Just don't. read more

Living Spaces has a beautiful selection and some of the nicest employees. They don't work on commission but kind of do because they get points? Idk. My husband and I ordered a couch, haven't set that up yet, after this I'm not looking forward to it. We ordered a bed as well and set that up as soon as it came. The men brought it in the garage and left. My husband didn't notice that the box with all the parts was open because it had a plastic over it. As soon as they turned the corner, we noticed we were missing a leg. Kind of a small deal but this story gets better. We begin setting it up and we figure we could just leave the legs for last. First off, the directions were wrong, step #1 asks for 2 pieces not included but we made due with what we were given and figured maybe the directions were for an older model. I call the 877 number. After a 25 minute wait (understandable) the young lady I spoke with apologized for the missing leg and said she would call parts. Another 10 minute wait but understandable. Apparently their parts department doesn't answer the phone. She kept calling, no answer and she emailed. So, what happens next? We have to wait for parts to answer. It could be an hour, it could be in a few days. We don't know. If they don't have a missing leg laying around we have to disassemble our bed, return it and wait all over again for a new one. If they do have one, they can set up another delivery or ship it. SUPER INCONVENIENT for their mistake, and now i have nothing to sleep on for a few days but hey who knows how long it'll actually be. Remember when I said this story gets better? Well, it turns out we were charged for full service delivery meaning, they come in and assemble and then clean their mess. That obviously didn't happen because they ran out of here. Also, they were supposed to take a picture of the delivery/assemble and guess what? They submitted a picture of the bed in plastic, and packaging. I am furious, because of delivery's mistake, no not mistake, they were being straight up lazy, I will be inconvenienced for who knows how long. I paid a lot of money for my items and expect it to be delivered in a professional manner. read more

They have a great selection of items. We were able to find a couch for my mom, wasn't the exact one she wanted but close enough and perfect price to not pass up on it. Purchased 8 pieces of furniture for nearly 5k 2 years ago. (Custom order took nearly 2 months to get) The furniture looks absolutely horrible and Living Spaces won't do anything about it. The cushions are made of down and have worn horribly! I wasn't aware they were filled with feathers until a few days after delivery, that's when the first feather pushed through. I called Living Spaces before the ONE year warranty was up, and they sent someone out. I was told they could put foam in the cushions, this would help hold their shape and firmness. I agreed and waited for someone to call me. After several days I called them, only to be told my case was closed for normal wear and tear. What??? I told them someone was supposed to come and put foam in. I was then told they don't do that and were not sure why the tech told me that. We are now 2 years in and the fabric is pilling and you can now feel the springs due to the cushions flattening out so badly. I hate to write this, but I have been so disappointed in my experience with Living Spaces. I bought a couch at the Gilbert store on 6/15/17, and that was a pleasant experience. The staff there were friendly and helpful. I was told my couch would be ready for pickup two weeks from the day I bought it. Two weeks came and went, and I still had not received a phone call from them. So I called customer service for the first time on 7/4/17. They said they didn't know where it was, but that it should be here by the end of that week. So I waited... and never received a call back. I called them again one week later and customer service again knew NOTHING. I have called them an additional 2 more times and no one can give me ANY information. No one knows when my couch will arrive. The last time I called them, I asked to speak with a manager. The lady I talked to said no managers were there currently, but that they would call me within 24 hours. It's been well over 24 hours and I still haven't received any calls. It's been a month and a half since I bought the couch and I still don't have it, nor do I know if I'm ever going to get it. I will not be returning to Living Spaces again. read more

Unfortunately, I should have read the reviews here prior to purchasing anything at Living Spaces. I went in yesterday, purchased an item, and was called immediately after leaving to tell me the sales person ordered the wrong model of an item. I was slightly annoyed, but figured I was about to hear that everything would be taken care of and fixed. Instead, I was told that at the moment a sales person clicks "order" on their little iPad essentially Living Spaces loses complete control of their supply chain. The order is sent to a drop shipper and the ONLY means to contact this third party company is by email, and they MAY respond within 48 hours. Uh, what? I was told that most likely the following would happen: 1. I would receive the item at my house in 2-3 weeks because they won't hear from the drop shipper. I had to pay shipping because it could not be picked up in store. 2. Once it is left at my doorstep, I can figure out a way to drive this huge item back to the store, for free of course, so I can return at the store that I couldn't pick it up at in the first place. 3. THEN they would order a new item for me at that point, charge me shipping again, and then wait another 2-3 weeks in the hopes that they correctly ordered it this time. I am astounded at the poor customer service provided. Each person I have had contact with has uttered the exact phrase "there is literally nothing we can do". This place absolutely does not take care of their customers. I bought a mattress for $1100 and within one week it was sagging. I contacted them and had to go through the whole process where somebody came out and inspected the mattress after two months of fighting. When they inspected the mattress they said they weren't allowed to say anything to me about what was going on with it and then I got an email a day later saying the mattress passed inspection.... How does that work? They send somebody out to inspect the mattress and say it's fine. I am sick to my stomach but I spent that much on a mattress and now I have to sleep on it until I can afford something different. I will absolutely never ever ever buy one thing from them again. Beware because their mattresses Sales are final unless there's a Factory warranty from a high and mattress sale....and they won't tell you that. read more

Our last visit to Living Spaces in Gilbert was excellent. We knew what we wanted and it didn't take long to process the sale. It was on a holiday, too. We were told to come back on this day due to our warranty on our former Living Spaces couch expiring, and a credit could be applied if we didn't use it. We were told that day since it was a different warranty company from 2015, that was misinformation, but they were able to give us the credit we were expecting, so that was much appreciated to fix the situation and not cause customer dissatisfaction. The time we came in prior though, a few weeks earlier, the lady, although nice, was very inexperienced or maybe having an off day, as she was constantly making mistakes to our order. Thankfully, our experience coming back was speedy and without issue. We love our new couch! The delivery was quick, easy, and efficient. They provided us with tracking, so we could see what stop they were at. It was a convenient and cool techs method that I enjoyed being able to check. I also like how the store offers free cookies to customers. They are tasty for free cookies. They're bathrooms are rather large and well kept, too. Nice store overall. read more

We needed a new recliner and found one at Living Spaces. We looked for 2 days before we found one that was close to the color we needed. On Sept 11, we finally decided on one that was to be delivered by the end of the month or mid-October. The saleslady was carrying an iPad and had my husband sign it to complete the order. The next day, we laid a new area rug next to where the recliner would be and we could see that the color was going to be a problem. We returned to the store the following day and spoke with a lady who identified herself as one of the managers. We told her about our dilemma and that we wanted to change the color. She said the chair was already "in production" and nothing could be done. I told her that I had worked in an upholstery shop and I knew that in 2 days--one of them a Sunday--the chair couldn't be "in production" let alone at a stage ready for upholstering. She repeated the "in production" thing, and my husband said "just cancel it." Then she showed us the contract and in very, very small print near the top edge of the form, it said that orders had to be changed by 8 PM the day of purchase or a 25% cancellation fee would be charged. Obviously, when my husband signed the iPad, he didn't see the contract. Also, the contract indicated they could be receptive to making changes. We tried; the manager was uncooperative. They refunded the purchase price of the chair ($1095) on our Credit Card and charged us a cancellation fee of $273.75. I found 2 corporate offices in California on the internet. On September 20, I wrote to the administrators of those offices as well as customer service at both places. No response. Their contract is close to fraudulent and their customer service is terrible. After this experience, I looked on line and found all the negative reviews. I should have done that before we went shopping. Lesson learned! read more

I will preface with the fact that I actually do like this store and while in the store, my sales person was very nice and helpful . However he did not mention that delivery on weekends was going to cost more. I paid $99 for delivery plus made a $1,600 purchase. He told me that I would get notified about delivery as it couldn't be scheduled at that time. It's getting close to two weeks now, I received a text that could select my delivery date. Online only options at zero extra charges were week day at long window 8a-3p. So I called the store to inquire on those extra weekend charges, the manager I was transferred to gave me a warning that "this time only we will wave your fee and book fir Sunday" and when I tried to explain to her I wasn't aware of the fees that was my concern she interrupted me and proceed to tell me "you are scheduled for Sunday at no fee." Ok, I get the memo she doesn't care about my experience as a customer. It's not just about the fee but hey great at least that was waived. Take time to listen to your customers. Now I am here debating if I will ever go back. My feedback is please make sure you tell customers the $99 fee for delivery is for only certain days of the week!!! read more
