I recently bought a car but wanted to make some enhancements to it. For one, the stereo system didn't sound right to me and I wanted a TV in there for my son. I also noticed the back of the car where my son sits gets very hot, so I was interested in window tinting, as well. I decided to visit Livewire Customs after driving by the area and noticing it. When I walked in, they were pretty busy, but I was greeted immediately by a gentleman named Ben, who I found out was the owner, as he introduced himself. He gave me a firm handshake, which stood well with me. He then asked me how he could assist me and proceeded to ask me the necessary questions to make sure he understood exactly what I needed. Ben spent time with me, showed me different options and explained them to me in detail. He also wasn't pushy, which I appreciated -- there's nothing I hate more than going in a store and feeling pressured to buy expensive things, just because the person knows I'm in need of it. At the end, I bought an amplifier for my inside speakers, a pair of new speakers for the front, a 13 inch flip down TV, and we agreed to get my back windows tinted at the shop. Ben went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and that I understood what I was buying. Everything looked clean, the installation was professional (even my husband, a car afficionado, gave it his stamp of approval!), and I was completely satisfied. So every audio install place I looked into had an almost month long waiting list. A friend of mine told me about Live Wire Customs so I gave them a call to see how long the waiting list was. I called on a Saturday mind you so I knew there was no way I could get same day service. The gentleman on the line asked me what I needed and I told him it was a simple deck install. Couldn't be more impressed with these guys. Bought a used car not realizing it had after market headlights with janky electrical set-up and structural problems. Another shop wanted $250 for an "electrical diagnostic." They didn't carry the headlights I needed to make a fast fix (I really wanted it done ASAP) so they told me exactly what to get from next door at Napa Auto. They were not about upselling at all--these are good guys with great problem solving skills. Brought the lights to them and they fixed my wiring and installed it. These guys do everything you could imagine. I only took my car in for a new hood vinyl, but once I got there they showed me current projects and everything they were doing was really awesome. I was surprised at the quality of work and how clean the store was. I picked my car up close to closing time and the vinyl work they did was some of the better vinyl installation work I've seen in the area. The lines were straight with almost no bubbles and the outside temp was close to 45 degrees and vinyl does not like to be installed that cold.
