I came in to have a dashcam installed. I did not get the name of the man I talked to but I can assume it is not "smiley". But I didn't come in to check his teeth. My camera, with a rear camera, also, was installed and there was no hint of what the heck happened to all the wires? I was very impressed with the installation and the price. Of course, he didn't even smile when I handed over my credit card. Oh, well. I had to return several days later to ask him to move my rear camera. Again, no smile, just fast work and no charge. I had the best experience here!! My old stereo needed to be replaced but I had no idea what I wanted except for a few random features I wanted to have. After a short conversation, Ben helped me find exactly what I wanted (and what I didn't need) without making me feel dumb. He was just as patient when I couldn't figure out how to work the stereo after he installed it (I hadn't connected my phone through Bluetooth). Honestly, I'm clueless when it comes to car stuff so I'd give the shop way more than 5 stars if I could; the customer service was that good. The shop has a comfortable (and clean!) waiting room, too. This place is great. I live next door and they are ALWAYS working. I dropped by to pick up some 6.5" door speakers and was happy with my purchase. I went back a month later (yesterday) to get a sub and amp wiring job done as I was packing and going on a trip and didn't have time to do it myself. Ben the owner is super chill and gets right down to business. My car was done on short notice as I asked to have it done the night before and it was done the next afternoon with the quickness. The wiring job was done quite cleanly and I am super happy with the results. Ben got me set up with a ported box for my Phoenix Gold 10" and it is built with great construction. Needless to say my car is loud. But not loud enough for me. I'll be back in the coming months to get some more work done such as a custom fiberglass sub box to fit my trunk mold. (Check out their work if you haven't already they do some sweet custom work besides just car audio.) Thanks for your work Ben, you've made a happy neighbor even happier and a I'll have my fiancé get her windows tinted next month at your establishment since we've been poking around at places who do good work. Best audio shop in town ! Back in 2017 I took my Jeep Wrangler in and they did an amazing job with the install , sound was crisp , bass was bumpin , and the wiring ... What wiring ? I couldn't even tell it was there ! This year I went back and got my 4Runner done and of course same experience if not BETTER ! Very professional , quick , while keeping high quality ! I called Livewire on a tuesday with a whole bunch of questions on my husbands car. Ben was super patient and kind to me while I was playing middle man between him and what my husband wanted. He offered pricing and explained the difference between what we thought we wanted and the actual benefits (which there weren't any). He also gave us a very competitive rate and hooked us up with an appointment that following friday. The issues the car had were between a crappy emergency alarm change and the manufacturers alarm that came installed. Ben and team took the time to rip everything out and make sense of our alarm. He also pointed out that my husbands battery was completely blown and didn't help the situation. He offered a quick fix for us and tried to help us save some cash (which it didn't work out --- but he was awesome for trying). He spent all day working on our car and gave it back to us good as new. We have had no problems with the alarm since, and I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Ben and his team. They were polite, funny, knowledgeable, and patient. I will be returning to them. Big ups to both Al and Ben! Fairfield and Solano County take notice and put these guys on your radar for your car/bike/boat audio needs because these guys are the real deal!!! No, they won't upsell you. No, they won't give you that Kevin Hart look when you say 'I have my own stuff' and you would like for them to install it. No they won't push you into buying the high-end audio gear they carry when they also have car audio gear for the "I just want to upgrade my factory setup' kind of thing. Just like anything else--you get what you pay for. I visited the shop when they first opened window shopping and asking Ben, the owner, questions on car audio upgrade for a vehicle I was thinking of purchasing. He answered all my questions, the shop was well stocked, clean and the one thing that put me at ease was that he didn't give me the high pressure sales speech. Just a small business owner trying to put his best foot forward. I ended up bringing my newly purchased vehicle in several months after visiting the shop and although he didn't remember my name he did remember the make/model of vehicle we were talking about. He upgraded my factory system with an amp, sound processor and sub install. All I asked was that the front seats felt like i had the 'best seats in the house' for a concert and everything looked stock. Both Al and Ben delivered!!! I did have to call the shop a day or two later requesting that the bass knob for the sound processor was drilled into the body vs double taped on---it didn't hold in place. He mentioned he opted not to drill to keep the car intact. It would be out of sight so it was not a big deal for me. Also I wanted to upgrade my amp power wire and ground. The wire would run 15-17 ft from the battery to the trunk. He charged me for the wire but didn't nickle and dime on the labor which I appreciated.Talk about EXCELLENT customer service and the "we want you to come back for your audio needs" attitude!!! The car sounds awesome! While at the shop I tested the sounds from smooth jazz, old school Rodney O, DJ Khaled and Mac Dre/Bay rappers and everything sounded crisp and clean. The gf is happy because its her daily driver and everything looks stock.The other guys in the county are good but these guys are great! They have a variety of choices in car audio equipment and lastly the service, service, and service is old school "customer first" attitude and worth your time to check out! I took my car there and spent over 1,500 in speakers and install for it not to work good at all I took it back and he tells me its because of my deck and he tried to fix it again and didn't do anything to fix it so I took it to another shop that knew what they were doing they showed me all the work they had to fix so livewire used all cheap wire and cheap parts even tho I payed for other things so I had to pay another 1500 to get it fixed right I will never go back to this place if you don't care about how they install your stuff then go to them all they use is cheap stuff if I could give a 0 I would but its ok I learn my lessen not to go to live wire they just take your money and run with it read more

Well summer is here and I know I wanted to put some subs in my car. The factory sounds is nice but I am used to a bit more bass. I found this shop thru my uncle and I seen their work on his cars and bikes so I knew I could trust them. This was a new shop in town the but owner, Ben, has a lot of experience in this field so I took his advice and was pleased with the outcome. They set me up with JL W6 sub-woofers, arc amp, and stinger cables. This is the perfect set up, and my car sounds a million times better. The best part is they even installed a knob to use the bass up/down and also a kill switch. I wanted to make sure the car still had a factory set up so they made sure no wires were showing to void any warranties with Audi. The car is not even a 6 months old so I wanted to make sure I went somewhere I could trust. It looks amazing and I could not be happier with the final product. I found out about this place thru my uncle because he got his bike down here. He told me the owner knew the bike better than he did. He ended up buying a moto arc amp and focal speakers and was not disappointing. They also supplied him with all the accessories that he wanted at a great price. Everything was plug and play with a nice clean installation and the volume and clarity he wanted. During my visit I noticed they had boats with crazy speaker. They even turned it on for me, I might have to bring my dads boat in soon. They had wet sound tower focal speakers with an arc amp as well. I could already imagine that thing on the river.
