I picked up my brand new Tesla Model 3 December of 2022. I called several wrap and tint shops from Contra Costa, Solano, and Sacramento Counties to have estimates for the installation of the paint protection finish (PPF) and tint on my model 3. Andre, the owner of the Wrap By Dre, whom I was lucky to discover offers the best price for the quality product (Ceramic Pro) as well as the workmanship. I drove my newly wrapped PPF Model 3 from Fairfield to Sacramento in blizzard conditions. Upon return, the vehicle was not dirty at all with minimum effort to clean. More Importantly, the frontal of the vehicle where the PPF was installed did not show any paint chips. Not only I am impressed with the finished product, I am also very pleased with the fact that Andre will stand behind his work. Upon the work is completed, Andre wants all his customers to bring their vehicles back to the shop in 30 days so that he can perform an additional inspection of the finished work to guarantee that the work is remained in good condition with no issues. I am also a repeat customer that two months ago, I took our newly bought Model X and another Model 3 to Andre for a full frontal PPF. Andre recommended me to have the windshields of both cars protected with the PPF with a special product called Exoshield. He mentioned that Tesla cars are known to have a high cost (thousands) when it comes to a replacement of a new windshield. So far the windshields are held up pretty well. We are driving with stress free. I will be bringing my other one Model 3 for windshield PPF soon. After calling and emailing over a dozen vinyl wrapping services, Wraps By Dre was the ONLY vinyl wrapping service in the East Bay that had previous hands-on experience wrapping desks and other specialty objects. Every employee at their shop was very friendly over the phone and in-person. Since I lived close by, they were even willing to send a guy out to pick my desk up since I didn't have a truck at the time. However, the best part about their service is the quality of their craftsmanship and the cost. I included before and after photos of my desk in this review; however, the photos don't capture just how perfectly they wrapped the top of my desk with a "sick" carbon fiber vinyl. Went to Wraps by Dre to support a small local shop and needed work for two Teslas. We decided to PPF and tint (Ceramic IR) the first car, but a bunch of issues came up afterwards. First, there was a Tesla issue and we needed a small window replaced, and re-tinted. There was misunderstanding on both sides, but Dre offered to re-tint it for us for a small fee (no worries). We scheduled the re-tint for the same day of his 30-day inspection for the PPF he installed. However, at the very last minute, he had to cancel. Unfortunately, it did not work with our schedule so we held off. But we were suspicious of how he was treating us. So we decided to get the re-tint (plus extra services) with a larger shop. We realized the new tint did not match the tint Dre installed. So we questioned Dre, who assured us he installed Kavaca IR tint, which is what we paid for at a premium. After we told him another shop installed Kavaca IR and it did not match, Dre then said his tint installer "accidentally" installed carbon series, which is of less quality. At no point did he offer an apology, rather blamed his installer for their mistake and us for not rescheduling his initial inspection. Due to our suspicion and his poor customer service, we requested a full refund of the tint and for him to remove it. Because of our initial suspicion, and the fact his prices kept changing for our second Tesla, we decided to not bring the second car. If you've brought your car here before, please inspect your tint to ensure you received what you paid for. read more

I called many shops looking for someone knowledgeable and with higher end products to Tint my Tesla Y, including the dreaded windshield. I was specifically hoping to get the top end Spectra Photosync IRD but didn't think any shops within 90 minutes of here had it. I was willing to go with a high end ceramic which Wraps By Dre offered, and was certainly a nicer product than anyone else around was offering, but when I asked I found out they indeed did have some of the Photosync available. He got me in early the next week and they did an excellent job. They used all the right products to do a spectacular job correctly, including a soak rope to stop any damage to the Tesla computers from doing the windshield as some lower end shops have had happen. They do many Tesla's and high end cars here while offering fabulous prices, superior products, and top notch work. I do wish they used more drapes to block drips rather than cleaning it up afterwards but that's a minor thing. The tint looks perfect and if it wasn't darker no one could ever tell there was tint on every window. It's now 100 degrees outside today and my car feels so cool and refreshing all the time. Basically all UV blocked, and 2/3 of heat blocked while achieving a nicer look, and protecting the interior and its passengers. Very happy with my choice to give them a try!
