Initially, I took my vehicle to a tint shop near my house, but the reviews on that shop were poor. One of the reviews recommended Fairfield Tint Masters, so I decided to give them a try. Glad I did. Took my car to the Vacaville location to have my Windows tinted. The crew did a fantastic job and the scheduler was very professional. The best part of the overall service was that they did not try to upsell me or talk me into a product that I did not need.... Kudos to Fairfield Tint Masters, in Vacaville.. read more

Fairfield Tint Masters - Fresh tint by Robert! - Car Window Tinting Near Me - Fairfield, California

I cannot say enough good things about Tint Masters. I have been a loyal customer for years and today in my time of need Tint Masters came through. My wife was driving the Tahoe to work on I-80 when something hit her passenger front window and shattered it. The only thing that protected my wife and kids from getting glass all over them and possibly injured was the window tint installed by Tint Masters. I called tint masters and explained what happened. I got my window replaced and tint master tinted the window the vary same day to make sure my family was protected. I was 16 years old when I got my first vehicle tinted by Carters tint in Vacaville (the OG). And since then they are the only ones that touch my vehicles for tint. I highly recommend Tint Masters for all your tint needs. They have been around forever and will be there for you when you need them. read more

I called and spoke with Robert before opening time and he scheduled me for a noon appointment. He provided a quote over the phone which seemed very reasonable for 5% on the rear, 5% for a windshield sunshade and 2 side windows at 70%. He told me it would take about 2.5 hours and he was spot on! Robert was professional and he was great to talk to! After he completed the job, he walked me around and explained what I had to expect during the curing phase (3-5 days). Remember not to roll your tinted side windows for 3-5 days! My only "gripe" was he told me he couldn't / wouldn't apply a front windshield sunshade. He showed me that his computer program did not have a pattern for that window and he did not want to free hand cut. That is how all window tinters worked back in the day, free hand cutting tint for ALL windows.... I'm going to have to find another tinter to do the windshield sunshade... All in all, I'd recommend Tint Masters, because working with Robert was great! Keep up the good work sir! read more

Brought in my Subie Impreza here about a month ago and Robert did a great job of getting the windows tinted up. I called a few days in advance because I randomly had a Monday off and I was able to be the first appointment of the day. Robert showed me the tint shade options and told me it would take about 2 hours to install. There's no indoor seating at the moment due to these unprecedented covid times, so I chilled at the Niche cafe nearby and hung out at Safeway to kill time. The installation took a little longer than expected, but that was fine. Robert explained to me the do's and dont's and how to care for the newly tinted windows. He told me to look around the car to check for errors or problems. He also made sure there were no more bubbles and that a little condensation was normal. He noted not to roll down the windows for at least 5 days to ensure that the tint wouldn't get damaged as it was still setting. Totally made that mistake the next day and thankfully, the tint job wasn't damaged. If I had a problem post-installation he said I could come on by and get it taken care of. Glad I went with Tint Masters to get the job done. Good customer service, reasonably priced, and there's a lifetime warranty on the tinting! My Subie is looking extra fresh. Come here for your window tinting needs! read more

Thank you Rob! I absolutely love the job you did on my car! If you are looking to get your tint done I'd highly recommend Fairfield Tint Masters! After speaking on the phone about the options they had, I was able to get an appointment within a couple of days. Rob was super informative about everything that was being done and how long it would take. After bringing my car out we noticed a imperfection on one of the windows and he took my car straight back to redo it and make sure my tint looked perfect! Thank you again Rob!! read more

Heard good things about tint masters and their location was super convenient being down the street from my house. I worked in vallejo for several years and had taken previous vehicles to vallejo to get tinted. Had a buddy who took his truck to see Rob and had nothing but good things to say, figured worth a shot. Rob was professional, very detailed and went over the proper care of the tint and what to expect over the next few days as things dry up. Being how this is the winter could take a little longer. Rob assured me if there's any issues to come back in and he'll take care of it. Any other vehicles we get I'll be sure to come see Rob at tint masters. Very happy with the result and outcome! Take care Rob, thanks for doing a great job! -Sean Norris read more

Tint Masters did an excellent job tinting my Mini Coopers windows! I have never had window tint put on and they explained everything to me so I could make a well informed decision. I wanted to reduce the heat coming into the car and I can't believe just how well this worked. Seriously, better than I expected. If I knew how well this stuff worked I would have had my windows tinted long ago. The quality of work from Tint Masters is excellent... I mean it looks like factory. Super friendly too! The gentleman who helped me is super personable and makes the whole experience a pleasant one. So, yes, if you are considering window tint check out Tint Masters! read more

With COVID-19 going on, it's challenging to get appointments at places. I reached out to Tint Masters and Robert provided phenomenal customer service. He was transparent about pricing as well as appointment availability. He was kind, professional, and well versed with his craft. They have a tablet system that simulates what your car will look like based on the percentage of tint you choose. My car was ready within the 4 hour window we discussed, and he performed a walk around of the car providing detailed after care instructions. The tint has a lifetime warranty and Robert also gave me a free bottle of window cleaner. Hands down, one of the most friendly, genuine business owners out there. #kindnessalwayswins read more

I took my new Tesla Model 3 to this location because a friend of mine recommended the place, so I trusted his recommendation. The day I got my vehicle's windows tinted, I noticed bubbles all around, but I expected them to dissipate. Two weeks later I noticed the same bubbles. Mind you, I have gotten my previous vehicles tinted at a location in SoCal, I never had this issue. All the windows of the vehicle had bubbles, when I reported it, they were receptive and asked to bring it back. When I took the vehicle back, as I was showing the bubbles, I was getting excuses. Nonetheless, the tints were replaced, but the rear window tint was cut short compared to the 1st time, it barely gives the desired coverage. I am extremely upset with the service there and definitely will not go back or recommend the place to anyone. This is solely my experience with the shop, my friend got his Tesla tinted there as well, and he did not have any issues. Not sure what the contributing factor is, the only distinction I see is the gender and race, but I'd like to think that's not it... who knows. read more

Took my car here, because my mom and cousin got their cars done here. The owner was super nice, and his work is great. He went above and beyond. Robert is a great local businessman to work with. I called all the tinters in the Fairfield area to get quotes on my sports car and wife's SUV. Talking to Robert, he was fair and negotiable with his prices. When I went to retint my car, Robert noticed issues with the older tint requiring me to wait to address mine at a later time but did an awesome job on my wife Subaru Forrester. When I returned in April, Robert welcomed me back and took care of me. During the install, I had two minor issues with my driver and passenger front window. I week later I called him, he told me to come in the next day when it worked for me. He retinted the driver side and trimmed the passenger side a little in just a few hours at no additional cost. When I need to tint again or someone asks, Robert is the man to see in Fairfield (and Vacaville). Thanks! read more

I called Fairfield Tint Masters to ask about pricing in comparison to other places in town and Robert was really affordable for what I asked for. I did mention another place I had taken my older car to, and he was honest about his pricing too. He mentioned the other place was fair and did a great job. I thought it was amazing he didn't try to persuade me away from that place and didn't try to "steal" business. Aside from that, he was able to get me in the same week for tinting. I paid a great price, my car looks AMAZING and Robert was truly a really nice guy. I'll definitely be recommending him to anyone who asks me where I got my tints done. read more
