The shishito peppers were swimming in sauce, albeit the sauce is tasty, it was WAY too much. The ramen was 5 star, as always. It was disappointingly served in a chipped bowl, which is inexcusable to me. The kitchen should never serve food on or in a damaged dish. Throw it away. The table was sticky (maybe from a prior order of shishito peppers, lol) and I had to request and wait for it to be wiped down. The restroom was in need of attention and cleaning. Service was pleasant but not very attentive. Hostess was slow to seat me because she was chatting with coworkers. While the ramen (only) was outstanding, the rest of the experience was unpleasant. While I will be going again because the ramen is great, I really hope management looks at the change in attention to important matters and addresses accordingly.

Crab noodles: VERY generous amount of crab meat. Super creamy, seafood forward flavor. If you like shellfish, this is for you. Dan Dan noodles: Lighter flavor profile compared to other Dan Dan noodles I've tried. Refreshing! Scallion oil noodles: this was my favorite. The sauce is addicting and the noodle texture is so addicting. Love the crispy fried scallions on top. A must order. Beef noodles soup: Also very solid choice. The broth is clean and the beef is tender. Lots of veggies on top which I like. Skewers: they're all pretty solid and have similar cumin seasonings. I think the beef/lamb was my favorite. Very "futuristic" vibe inside. Good amount of parking.

Mentaiko don was tiny and not much was done to it, so recommend trying some of the other dons and ramens out instead. Really like that they give you the option of adding noodles for an additional fee because we had a lot of dipping broth left and just got some more noodles to go with it! Service was warm and the ambience was super cute. Would definitely come back for ramen and to try some of the other options. For the appetizer, we got the ravioli which wowed us from the start. Mint aftertaste, the ricotta balanced the onions on top. It is slippery so it's hard to eat with chopsticks, but they provide you silverware. We also ordered the stuffed leeks, which was on the salad side, which really surprised me. I was nervous ordering at first cause I expected it to be something cold for some reason. But the crab paired with the onion with the butter is just *chef's kiss*. Def get this, it is rich with flavor and unlike anything I've tasted before. Entree we shared the short rib. Keep in mind. The portion sizes are small so if you're hungry, you both would need to order your own entrée, but since we wanted to try a couple of different things, we did it family style, and the waiter will recommend that. He did sell us on the side of garlic noodles, which was a good call since that helped with the smaller portion sizes. For dessert, they had a basque cheesecake with peach jam on top and it was so creamy and paired well together. 10/10

They are so rich with delicious blends of sweet, savory, and sour. In addition, all of the meats/seafood were cooked to perfection to give you a wonderfully tender bite. The branzino was our favorite. It had a crisp exterior with soft, tender meat underneath. The flavor was also so stunning and the fish paired so well with the dirty rice. The foie gras dumplings are great umami flavor bombs. It's also coated a delicious pho sauce that gives you just the best parts of a hearty pho bowl. The atmosphere is elevated and romantic, perfect for a date night. We also loved our server who made our anniversary dinner so special! Would definitely love to come back and try their other dishes!

Overall: 4.6/5 [delivery]…read more This was not a cheap meal but it was one of the best meals we have had delivered. The food was filling and tasted phenomenal. I accidentally mixed up the broth and curry so we essentially ended up with curry ramen, but honestly it was delicious so it worked out. I did not realize the ramen broth is a dashi broth, which is clear instead of cloudy, so I mistook the curry for the ramen broth. Clearly my brain was not working that night but it ended up being a happy accident. One thing to note is that they charge extra for spice levels above level 2 and the price increases with each level. We got level 3 for both items and it was genuinely spicy. You will feel it while eating and definitely after as well. Hinodeya Special ($20.70) + Oni-kara Level 3 ($1) + Naruto ($1.50) + Inari Fried Sweet Tofu ($3) = $26.20: We swapped to spinach noodles which worked really well. The naruto came in 4 big thick slices but did not have much flavor to me. The tofu came in 3 small thin strips that were sweet but I did not think they were worth the add on price. Sukiyaki Curry ($22.42) + Oni-kara Level 3 ($1) + Spicy Pork ($4.50) = $27.92: You can tell this is homemade curry because the color and taste were completely different from the store bought curry roux you typically find elsewhere. It was creamy and made from a pork stock soup which is apparently also used in their ramen. The beef was a bit too fatty for me but I absolutely loved the spicy pork. I loved both items and will 100% be reordering from here. Can not wait to try their other items too.

Our server was attentive, provided us menus and the restaurant's decor created a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that transported me back to Okinawa Japan. After traveling abroad, it is especially refreshing to find authentic Japanese cuisine in the United States, and Hinodeya Ramen truly stands out in that regard. We ordered several katsu curry plates, bento boxes for the children, and started with an order of gyoza as an appetizer. The gyoza arrived crisp on the outside with a juicy filling that we demolished within minutes of being placed on the table. The katsu curry arrived as crispy cutlets paired with a thick, curry sauce that was rich and delicious. The chicken bento boxes contained a variety of vegetables, rice and their selection of proteins. Our meal was flavorful, and absolutely delicious. This establishment also brought back memories for my sister and me of our time serving abroad in Okinawa. The rich flavors, the spicy curry, and the authenticity of the cooking made it feel like a small return to Japan. Finding Japanese food that encompasses those flavors is not easy to find, but this restaurant truly delivered. I highly recommend Hinodeya Ramen for anyone looking for an authentic Japanese dining experience in Dallas. It will absolutely be my go-to spot whenever I'm back in the area!
