We got 3 rolls at little Tokyo. The fish was large portions but not the best (still tasted fresh). Had a salmon roll, a yellow tail with scallions and an Alaskan roll. The service was fast, but the guy at the cash resister had zero interest in customer service. He had something on his phone he was watching that was way more important than me. After I ordered I left and came back in and that second time he didn't even acknowledge me before providing our food.

This is my daughter's favorite place to go when she's home from college. So many menu options! Service is very good, they are so polite and hospitable. I love the decor in here, and the fact they have artwork on the wall from Japan and photos of their dishes. Very beautiful.

Great service, lovely ambiance and super quick service. The Tataki salad was a delight. Highly recommend the avacado dream roll and Bowdoin rolls. Yum! Cannot wait to try again!

Came here a few times because of the proximity to the Amtrak and loved it each time. Its location is really great. There is plenty of parking over in this area which is super nice. The actual food is good, safe, yummy sushi. I especially loved their udon as I find that sometimes hard to find in the area. Not to mention it's right next to gelato!

I've been going here for years and it never disappoints! The udon noodles with shrimp, the pork katsu, and the spicy tuna roll are definitely our favorites!! We often try something new too since they have so many options (especially for sushi). I prefer to dine in here because everything is best fresh (especially the sushi, miso soup, and house salads), but their takeout is great too! Whenever I order takeout, they almost always say it'll only be 15 minutes and I've never had to wait longer than they say. They typically put cold and hot items in separate bags so make sure you get both (I say that because I didn't get the second bag one time and only realized once I got home). Definitely one of my favorite Brunswick restaurants!

Ordered take out because we were craving sushi and didn't want to drive into Portland. Got the: Fresh fish trio--3 rolls containing raw salmon, tuna, and yellowtail. Well constructed roll but something was off about the flavor profile. Rainbow roll--this was spot on delicious with slices of fish and avocado draped in the outside of the roll but pricey at $12 for the portion size Philadelphia roll--smoked salmon and cream cheese. On the salty creamy side of things. It our favorite. Chirashi don set--thick cut salmon, tuna, snapper, cooked shrimp, albacore, crab stick, grilled eel, fish roe on a thick bed of sushi rice. Served with salad and miso soup. Unagi don set--same grilled eel with dark sweet sauce for the chirashi and other rolls. So not cut thickly like a slab. But they gave a generous amount along with 2 pieces of pickled daikon. Served on a bed of sushi rice with miso soup and salad. The salad was ice berg lettuce and tomato wedges with Mayo dressing. Miso soup was strong with generous amounts of seaweed. Ordering was simple and streamlined. Pick up was also well organized with masks required and hand sanitizing at the door.

Nice experience here. Food was good. Servings were huge. We have leftovers so we took it home with us. The place was clean. Staff were nice.

Honestly I was so surprised by little Tokyo - I was skeptical at first because of the location we were in but it was a happy surprise :) The sushi was really fresh and the rice for the nigiri was prepared perfectly ! They were very generous with their cuts (but it did not compromise the taste) My only complaint would be the chicken teriyaki - the chicken was cooked perfectly and ratio of rice to chicken was great - however, it was lacking flavor and taste! Overall - would recommend

We have eaten on the restaurant side and on the hibachi side and love both. The variety of food opens is awesome. They have a bar if that is something you would like to do. We've only had dessert there once, because we are usually too full to try what they have. We haven't been disappointed with anything we have ordered - it all tastes sooo good! In the area stop by and try them out. If you want to try the hibachi for a party, call ahead to reserve, but if you're on the restaurant side, on the menu you can order some hibachi meals for a solo person. We have tried that too and again YUM!!

My boyfriend ordered a hibachi meal and I ordered sushi. Halfway through our meal we placed a to-go order, and I clearly asked for one sushi and one hibachi to go. We also asked for our dine-in meal to be separate from the to-go order because we were paying separately. Unfortunately, the order got doubled and we ended up receiving two of everything. What should have been about $40 for the to-go order ended up being over $70. She also wasn't able to split the check or separate the orders, and after trying to explain a few times we eventually just gave up and paid. She was very kind, and I understand that communication can be difficult, but having waitstaff who are a bit more fluent in English would really help avoid situations like this. On a positive note, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice--not too loud and not too quiet

I'm not paying $25 for old spinach that you're calling wilted. We saw a little farmers market thing going on in a little park on the walk over to Joshua's but it had ended by the time we realized our mistake and tried to walk back. Then we spot this little hole in the wall. It looked like it was once a gas station Asian food restaurant. The front of the building read: Chinese, Japanese and Thai food. We like all of those things so we headed over and took a chance. They no longer offer table service, but there was a sign that said you're welcome to eat your food inside, so we did. The menu was like any other Asian restaurant, all the staples were there, the lunch specials that include your eggroll and soup, choice of fried rice or white rice. So we ordered a couple lunch specials. And two are surprised it was insanely good. It wasn't like fine dining Asian food, it was more like comfort Asian food. My pad Thai was real pad Thai, it was sweet and it was sour, it was the spice level I asked for! It did not taste like spicy dried peanut butter rubbed all over rice noodles. There was a fantastic sauce to it. The miso soup I ordered was light and refreshing, yet comforting, like something your mom would make. The outside of this building looks like it's going to make you sick, ignore that part and go inside.

Yes the lines are long, sometimes 2-3 hours before it's your turn to order your meal. Today I ordered an appetizer lobster pop. It was ok nothing to write home about but I also ordered scallops , onion rings, lobster roll, excellent iced tea & excellent iced coffee. We picked an outside table & waited for our order to be delivered. It only took 10-15 minutes to have our order delivered. Red's doesn't weigh their lobster all they do is pile it on so high you can't see the buttered grilled hotdog roll. Served with a side of hot butter to dip or pour on the lobster. I couldn't finish my roll so I took home some leftover lobster that I weighed at home. It weighed 4.7 oz more than what a normal lobster roll weighs regularly. I can safely say there was around 16z of fresh tender lobster meat. No chewiness incurred. Look closely at the pictures & start making plans to visit Red's Eats in Wiscasset Maine. We chose to go visit when they 1st opened on May 6th so the line we stood in was only 10-12 people deep. We will go back in October before they close for the season. This will be the most impressive lobster shack you'll ever experience. Make plans & drive there soon.

Since it was opening day on a wednesday and i arrived around 1:45 i only waited in line about half an hour so i cant speak on wait times during peak season. I do know however that i would wait in a longer line to eat this food again because it was more than worth it. First of all the customer service is exceptional- i dont think i have had a better more friendly experience. They give you sampled while you wait in line and during my time they were handing out their beer batters fried shrimp and wow even that was amazing! I waited while it was cold and rainy as well so the hot shrimp was a wonderful surprise. I watched ever interaction the employees had with every individual party and the never wavered in politeness or excitement. They treated everyone with the same respect and really took their time catering to them. Now onto the food, i ordered the sweet potato fries with the house made maple aoili, a side of cole slaw, and of course the lobster roll which was a market price of $38 on opening day. The food came out so fast, the wait times are not because they don't get food out in a timely manner because they were an excellent well oiled machine in the kitchen. This lobster roll is absolutely STUFFED with lobster. I had at least two tails, two claws, and then some in my one hot dog roll and i couldn't even pick it up. Let's just say i fork and knifed it until i could take a bite of the roll which i am not complaining about at all! Comes with hot butter on the side which i liked more than just being dumped onto the roll beforehand. Pro tip- get the side of sweet potato fries because the house made maple aoili it comes with is also fantastic when you dip your lobster roll in it! Plus the fries were perfectly hot and crispy. Cole slaw was a great addition too for some crunch! I love being able to look out into the water as you sit outside, and i was even bundled up in a jacket but i wouldn't change my experience for anything! This is by far the best price point for any lobster roll you'll get in Maine when we are talking about quality and quantity. You will leave extremely satisfied and the experience is going to stay on your mind until you go again! I can't wait for my next chance to eat at Reds!

One of the biggest changes has been the complete turnover of the staff. All of the original people who made the place welcoming and enjoyable seem to be gone, and the difference has absolutely shown in both the service and overall experience. The food quality has become inconsistent and, at times, marginal compared to what originally brought us in. We've also dealt with repeated order mistakes, inattentive service, and an overall lack of attention to detail during several recent visits. Everyone understands that restaurants can have an off night, but this has become a pattern rather than an exception. What was especially disappointing was that we took the time to privately contact ownership about these concerns and never received any response at all. We weren't looking for compensation or special treatment, just acknowledgment and some indication that customer feedback mattered. Kume had a lot of promise when it first opened, which makes this frustrating to write. Unfortunately, based on our recent experiences, the quality control, consistency, and customer service are no longer close to where they once were.

It was the late 8Os and Chinese buffets were in their infancy in Queens - it was an exciting day to know that we're going out to eat that evening to my parents favorite Chinese buffet. They basically half starved us during the day with our ritual of a banana for breakfast and another fruit or poorly prepared vegetable for lunch. They're always looking for a deal, which I believe was part of their attraction. Personally, I've not had many new memories of buffets of any cuisine - they're always getting peppered with heath violation papers - this was my thinking. Driving hungry and teetering on desperate to just sit with a hot cup of tea and decompress the body and brain from a trying week - the neon sign and ample parking had me turn around and pull in, enter and was seated. I expected somebody to be tucking egg rolls into their boots and all out brawls at the shrimp tray, none of which occured. There were some mysteries rolls, not much shellfish - it wasn't a seafood buffet, yet there were underwater representatives available. Ya know -- I think its a law to have fish and turtles in the foyer at those establishments as I reflect back upon a seafood buffet experience or two. Four double sided, well lit serving stations. I started with a scoop of what I believe was a Chinese roasted imitation crab souffle - green beans for a good luck chaser. A stick thru a piece of white meat (perhaps turkey) hit my plate with a Clunk as did the breaded chicken so I created a soft landing zone with beef fried rice and lol mein noodles for future additions. So I began to eat and I watched some people waiting for new trays to arrive - this is a strange optic for me - I mean, the particular item of interest to you is worth just standing there - in wait - hoping to get first dibs? The place wasn't very busy, personally, I'd wait at my table - Weird. First plate was fresh and hot and unhealthy - it went down quickly and plate number two had a sauced rib, a chicken wing more green beans and sliced pepper thingies with a sweet and sour eggplant I believe. Needing a flavor punch I foolishly a dropped a half a ladle of some super spicy mustard that wrestled my nostrils with blowtorch intensity, which the jasmine tea doused out quite well. Then I saw a banana at the far table and freaked out a bit due to the scars of the Late 80s Bananas // Chinese Buffet Memory Synergies - so I stayed away from that area which also included the desserts - but I didn't see the self serve sift ice cream machine equipt with the lever giving you the maniacal power to create ice cream lines over your cookies, so that was out. That's basically it -- $17.75 out the door.
