Yum! . The young man at the front was busy, but he was still polite and pleasant. He allowed me to sit down with the in-restaurant menu in my car (with my 83-year-old mom. I really appreciated that. I like how they made the green curry with mild heat. The spice level was perfect, and it was perfect. I appreciated that they offer "no spice," for those who can't handle it at all. I asked to steam (vs. typically fried) tofu, and it was silky and delicious!, I get a lot of heat for requesting to omit the MSG because I know without a doubt that it's a migraine-trigger for me (I avoid lots of American food with it too). The guy taking my order didn't miss a beat nor did he give me a judgemental look. The end result was delicious, flavorful, and so satisfying. This is a definite must-stop the next time I'm in the area.

Great place for fast Thai food in the SV/ Rancho SD / campo area. It's in a small area. Available by dine in, take out or food delivery service apps. I really like how convenient this place is to me and how they have a good variety of things on their menu. My recommendation Any of the Curry's Crab fried rice Pad Thai Thai green tea

This spot was highly recommended and came to check it out. Cozy ambiance casual restaurant. The service was great we were asked to sit wherever we'd like and given menus right away. Appetizer ordered was chicken satay & chicken spring rolls with veggies. The chicken option without pork was good since we have someone that doesn't eat pork in our group. We ordered massaman curry & yellow curry and pad Thai noodles and a small tom yum seafood soup. Everything was very good with an authentic fresh taste.

If you like Thai food mild or spicy check out "Little Thai Kitchen" in Spring Valley, I highly recommend this gem for their consistency, service, and flavor. If you haven't made up your mind on what to order or what to eat try their Panang Curry, Pad Thai, and Som Tun (Papaya salad) really fresh. Exspect to spend between $50.00- $60.00 for two people. "Little Thai Kitchen" is open Mon-Sun for lunch, or dinner and for Take-Out.

Thai green tea

The food was decent but the Thai green tea will be why I go back. It was similar to their tea but not nearly as sweet. I could've just ordered that and been happy. The location was more of a place people would pick up from rather than eat there but it was clean inside and the staff was attentive to us.

Came here cause it was the closest thai spot with good reviews. It's literally the only eatery in the middle of residential homes& 2 businesses. We were seated pretty quickly. Tell me when you guys find the cat I don't know if they forgot about us for a second or they got a big togo order but we sat there for a little. But not too long. After that, the food came out pretty fast. We tried the chicken "fried spring roll", beef pad see ew, &the signature spaghetti pad kee mow (they only had a seafood protein option). The entrees came hotter than the eggrolls, but they pretty much came out at the same time. The eggrolls were nice&crunchy but had a bit too much cabbage for my liking. The spaghetti did taste like drunken noodles but more on the sweeter side. They were generous with the protein especially with the fish. I forgot we got mango sticky rice too! It was as expected, drenched in the milk, but the mango&rice portion was pretty much spot on. I really ate that all up by myself.

Their food is so good!!! The pad Thai is packed with flavor. Cashier was spot on with service and got my food within 10 minutes. The cook said bye to me and said enjoy my food (aaaawwww!!) the sticky mango rice is so good, the mango was ripe and the rice was warm. The winter shrimp was hot and crispy and the sauce was also flavorful. They have plenty of parking and plenty of chairs available but I usually get my food to go.

I ordered through Grub Hub so this is just my review based on food and how it was packaged. I ordered only 2 items; spicy chicken Thai fried rice and seafood salad. First off they need a few lessons on how to properly package! My fried rice came in those secure reusable container. My seafood salad that HAS SAUCE came in a plastic biodegradable container that was bigger that also had aluminum foil underneath the food. This is my rant. Why would you put the bigger container on top of the smaller container?! Not only that but why would you put a container that cannot properly close that HAS LIQUID ON TOP of a smaller container so it could spill?! Which it did and the whole bag was a mess. The fried rice was okay and nothing special. It was soggy in some parts. The seafood salad was good. It had a lot of good seafood and I really like the fried fish included. It also included more sauce which I don't understand why they didn't just package the whole sauce up like that. I ordered the spiciest level for both and I like how they added extra dried pepper flakes for me.

Bug in Drunken Noodle

This placed used to be better. I will never come back to this place after finding a bug/insect on my food! I was so grossed out! I saw the legs and wings of that insect! I was barely starting to eat my food and left almost everything! I told the waitress about the situation and she offered to remake the plate or get something else but I lost my appetite plus I had questions about their food handling. To make things worse they still charged us for it and didn't take it off the bill! The audacity! I really question their food handling and I just saw they had a number of health violations. Maybe the Health Dept should check this place out because it's not trustworthy imo.

Took two of my young adult kiddos here for lunch. I didn't realize this was the place some of my family members frequent when they are craving Thai food. We started off with Thai tea and I chose the Green Thai tea. It was really good compared to the regular Thai tea. We started off with the Spring Rolls Vegetable -ground chicken, glass noodle, cabbage, taro and carrot served with plum sauce. These were nice, hot and crispy! Som Tum (Papaya salad) Shredded green papaya mixed with Thai chili, carrot, tomato, green bean, garlic, lime juice and peanut It was unique as I've never ordered that before. I actually liked it. Pad Thai with tofu Stir fried thin rice noodle, bean sprout, scallion, egg and ground peanut. My favorite go to on the menu Panang Curry Red & green bell pepper, onion, and lime leaf with coconut milk. Very flavorful and tasty. Mango Sticky Rice The best dessert to enjoy. My experience here was nice. The food is good here and price is reasonable.

I am unsure if they are all family but one of the workers daughters was also running around and helping out/interacting with the guests. I'd come back here just based on the positive vibes alone. Besides the service though I ended up ordering a spicy basil with chicken and I did not realize they'd give out the rice in a heart shaped but I thought it was nice touch. The dish overall was solid; good amount of spice, plenty of meat//veggies and a flavorful sauce that complimented it all. One of the workers also came by and just randomly gave me a Thai tea and said it was on the house. The Thai tea itself was good as well, just the right balance of milk, sugar and tea. If I still lived near SDSU I would definitely return here!

I was a bit hesitant to try this place because I love chinese food and lately its just been hit or miss. Also, sushi/chinese can sometimes be not what you expect. ANYWAY, let me go back to my experience with Ayumi. Small cozy restaurant that has about 8-10 tables. Its apparent they do a lot of take out. It's in a small plaza but there is plenty of parking. You're greeted warmly when going inside, and there's an A-Frame in the front that tells you the daily special. The pictures here on yelp and google helped a lot in making my food decisions. I love my orange chicken not too much breading, and an even sauce to nugget ratio. Some of the other chinese restaurants in the immediate area are wayyyy too saucy or too breaded. I chose the Sweet & Pungent chicken, bc that sounded good ... boy it did not disappoint. It came out on a bed of crispy noodles and steamed broccoli. The pieces were evenly sauced and sticky the way I love it ... so I can only imagine the orange chicken, sweet and sour, and whatever else is fried will be decent. Definitely coming back just for this. My bf had the kung pao trio, and it was probably the most decent I've had in a while. The prices are reasonable for the area for the sushi, the chinese food, and even the beverages (some places be gouging for beer), and I'm going to be trying this place out for the lunch specials which is always a good combo of entree, appetizer, and drink. 5 stars for the chinese food, Can't wait to try the sushi next time.

So I ordered through GrubHub and I still think everything was delicious! They have a combination of Chinese foods and Japanese sushis. I ordered an Adam and Eve Roll which was good. The 2 main stars of the show were the scallop roll and the salt and pepper chicken wings! Okay where do I even start?! The scallop roll came from the basic rolls so I was expecting it to be pretty basic. No one told me they were going to put raw scallops omg it was sooo good and soft! Melted like butter in my mouth. Then the salt and pepper chicken wings might be up there on top wings in SD because not only do they load that thing with garlic but they also dice up tiny red bell peppers and omg what a game changer!

We arrived at 6:15 for our reservation on a Friday night. Downtown La Mesa had a charming farmer's market wrapping up along the street, which added such a lovely atmosphere to the evening. We found free street parking easily, and from the moment we walked up, the experience was warm and welcoming. The hostess greeted us outside with genuine kindness, checked us in, and seated us with ease. Then came Francesca -- our server, and honestly the heart of our entire evening. Originally from Sicily, Francesca brought an authenticity and warmth to the table that is simply rare. She was attentive, knowledgeable, generous with her recommendations, and had this wonderful energy that made our whole table feel at ease and cared for. She is the kind of server you remember, and the kind you come back for. The interior is absolutely beautiful -- the colors, the design, the layout -- everything is thoughtfully done and so inviting. For food, we shared the artichoke and Brussels sprouts appetizers (both delicious), and my friend enjoyed a refreshing limoncello spritz cocktail. For our entrées, I had the chicken with mushrooms, asparagus, and mashed potatoes -- perfectly prepared -- and my mom and friend had pasta dishes that Francesca personally recommended, which they loved. We finished with the chocolate lava cake, which was indulgent and wonderful. Next time, I am absolutely trying the house-made tiramisu. After dinner, we strolled through downtown La Mesa and it was just delightful -- the streets were beautifully lit up, lively, and full of local charm. Our group of three -- myself, my mom, and my friend -- all left completely charmed. We will without a doubt be back. If you're lucky enough to have Francesca as your server, consider the evening made. Highly recommend!

At first, she said the order only could be done on 1 bill. And then later she compromised with 2 bills, 5 people per table. That was nice of her! I just had 2 coffees before entering so I decided to skip ordering Thai tea. But they had a large drink menu, of fruit teas and more. My friend had the lychee tea which was very large and looked super refreshing! They also came by often to top off our waters which was nice. To eat, I ordered the $16.99~, Cashew Chicken Stir Fry with White Rice. It came with onion, green onion, carrots, zucchini, bell pepper, and cashews. The carrots were beautifully cut, but a little too crunchy for me to properly enjoy in the stir fry. Everything else was delicious! I think this could definitely be shared between 2-3 people. It was a lot for me, even after a large hike. The sauce was flavorful and not overly salty. I didn't ask for any spice level, but I think I'd choose mild or medium next time. My friends ordered-- - $12.99, Dirty Fried Chicken: This had a blitz coating of lime, mint, and spices. And it was decorated with thinly sliced green onions with a side of sweet chili sauce. The chicken was hot and plump, not dry, and very much mouthwatering! Would recommend. - $14.99, Thai Grilled Chicken Salad: Grilled Chicken Breast on a bed of mixed green salad, carrots, and cucumbers with peanut dressing. It reminded me a little of chicken satay~ it smelled and looked incredible. I think I might order it next time, when I want something light and fulfilling after a hike. - $11.99, Cream Cheese Avocado Wontons (6PC): These came out piping hot and when you took a bite they were oozing. It was very creamy and when you dip into the plum sauce it's a delectable bite. A nice appetizer to share with the table. - $16.99-$19.99 (depends on what protein you get), Pad Thai: This proportion was manageable for one person. The restaurant used thin rice noodles, but it didn't clump excessively compared to other restaurants. The prices are what you'd typically see at a Pan-Asian restaurant, a few dollars more than what you'd want to spend. But these kinds of restaurants, in my opinion, are for enjoying with others. So, if you're sharing food and all that-- the price is worth it (esp with the quantity that is given). Next time, I would probably order one of their noodle dishes rather than rice. TL;DR It's really good. Go here…read more -------------- I came here after a friend recommended it when I told them I was coming down to San Diego for a day trip during my spring break from school in Orange County. I was born and raised in LA, so I've had a lot of Chinese food growing up, and I wasn't expecting to be this surprised--but I really was. I ordered the black bean eggplant and the salt and pepper chicken wings. The wings are what they're known for, but I have to start with the eggplant because it completely caught me off guard. It wasn't mushy at all--crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked on the inside, and coated in sauce without losing its texture. Every bite had depth and balance, not just saltiness. I actually meant to start with the wings, but the eggplant was so good I ended up eating half of it before even getting to them. By that point I was already getting full, but I still made sure to finish the wings--and I'm honestly excited to take the rest of the eggplant home as leftovers. By the time I got to the wings, I understood why they're popular--crispy, flavorful, and super satisfying--but what stood out to me was how both dishes complemented each other. One rich and layered, the other crisp and bright. I never got tired of eating, which honestly says a lot. I even told the staff how much I enjoyed the food and they thought I was joking, but I meant every word in saying I thought it was comparable, if not better then the food I've had in Chinatown in LA. Really glad I came here and the next time I have a chance to come back down to SD I definitely will come back here and that's not negotiable for me

This place is NOT worth the high rating it has. We ordered the Fried Green Beans, they were cooked in oil that was obviously not to temperature. Too greasy for consumption. To make it worse? They were drowned in salt! The Crispy Beef was nothing but thick dough with no beef inside. To add insult to injury it was BURNED so badly that all you could smell was burnt dough and taste burned dough. Hardly any sauce on it as well. The Shrimp Fried Rice should have just been plain white rice for how bland it was. The Vegetable Chow Mein literally was just a container of salt. Slim noodles and salt, disgusting! We spent so much money and all of this is going right into the garbage. Stay away from this hole! It should be shut down for trying to poison people.
