Breakfast fit for a king

Great breakfast great friendly service food was just the way I wanted requested to leave off the toast didn't need or want still plenty of food only downside I did not realize I was going to be charged for the bacon thought it was part of the breakfast I ordered otherwise no issues

Cheese curds.

Service has been friendly both times I've been in this restaurant. The servers are prompt to check back in on you and ensure your experience is a pleasurable one. The first time I was here, the chef came out and spoke to me about my experience. He told me they get their cheese curds from Ellsworth, Wisconsin and hand-bread them. They sure taste like it--hands down, the best ones I've had. They are lightly breaded and have the perfect ratio of breading/cheese. They come with marinara sauce, but procuring some ranch isn't a big deal either. On my most recent visit, I had a crock of French onion soup. The broth wasn't quite as flavored as I would have liked it and the portion seemed a little small. Lots of cheese, though. The whole menu is available during their hours of operation, so if you're not a big breakfast person and are hungry, Little Six is likely a good spot to hit up.

Came for their Tuesday T-Bone Steak special for $15.99 ($11.99 if you're a club member). They seated us in a booth that still had the previous customers tip on there. We felt so awkward. The host didn't remove it or the waiter who brought us our water. After they took our order they finally collected the tip. That seemed to be the norm here by looking at the other tables. The T-Bone comes with your choice of salad, soup, vegetable, potato and a dinner roll. Their steak is thin cut so I ordered my t-bone rare. It came out just perfect. Super tender and juicy. Not much seasoning but that was fine for me. I just dipped it in a little A1. They don't list how big their T-Bone is but if I were to make a guess, maybe 20 oz. I did say, maybe. Is it worth $15.99? Yeah, I'd say so. My side cauliflower was pretty damn good though!

Food is a hit or miss just like the service. Salad tasted a bit sour almost like it was going bad. The prime was saltier than normal and had more fat than actual meat on the steak. Our waiter wasn't very friendly. Just took our order and gave us our food. Never filled our waters or came back to see if we needed anything else. Had to wave him down just to get his attention. By the way, the restaurant wasn't busy at all. He was only serving our table and one other table. Won't be back for awhile!

A fruit fly in my salad.

Health inspectors should check this place out if anything.. Everything but wild rice soup makes me terribly sick. Food is always cold and even if it is, nothing has flavor. Servers really suck. They are rude and do not care what you have to say. They get quick and start to have an attitude if you have a complaint. Last time I went there was a long black hair in my pasta! And now, I just got a side house salad and there was a dead fruit fly stuck to the leaf! And the only reason I knew right away is because I shook the box around to open it up n see that...every time I come it gets worse n worse.

Taco salad fry bread

Great selection of food-nice service. I'd recommend the homemade wild rice soup, king crab legs, and fry bread taco salad. I wasn't expecting a casino to have great food, but it was delicious.

We've brought countless friends here to try it and it's a heafty feat! You get around 40 to 50 pieces of shrimp, around 10 things of potatoes, six things of corn, and sausage too... it's humongous. You really get your moneys worth! If I'm being honest I haven't tried anything else here but I can assume it's equally amazing! I'm really looking forward to coming back here in the summer and enjoying this on their outdoor patio. But so far really love mallards and will always recommend it as it go to spot for anything seafood related! At our most recent stop our waiter was kind gave us lots of recommendations and was quick to refill our drinks or ask if we needed anything throughout our entire experience. This goes for each time we've been here, the service has always been wonderful. I find it this location really unique and it sits on upscale while also being able to be casual. Thank you Mallards for a wonderful time!

I imagine it would be really nice in the spring/summer as there is a horse track right outside of the restaurant which would provide a great view to a race. It definitely got a little loud just sitting inside They had a large variety of options to choose from on the menu. They also offered a great and surprisingly extensive Happy Hour Menu which we got there in time to take advantage of.  We got the burger and thought it was very tasty, we love a good caramelized onion. I thought it definitely needed some ketchup to balance out the heaviness of the onions and cheese with a little bright acidity. I also thought the patties themselves were very good, thin with a slight crisp to them with a soft bun and melty sauces and cheese. Since it was a happy hour option the burger did not come with any sides like it would have as an entrée. We also got fish tacos and we were a big fan of the slaw and pineapple mayo which brought a balance of sweet and savory to the dish. Only came with two tacos (at least for happy hour) which might not be enough food if you're hungry. The hot smoked salmon was one of the more unique items we tried. The salmon itself was super tasty - salty and smoky just what you want. They use the smaller scraps of salmon that wouldn't work in their Wood-Fired King Salmon entrée and incorporate it into this appetizer which is great sustainability-wise! The salmon came with a creamy ricotta, salty capers, crunchy crostini, and sweet and acidic pickled red onions. We liked this combination a lot but felt it could have used even more sweetness/acidity, maybe just adding a couple more onions to the dish. We really enjoyed the 'Garganelli' pasta dish. It was creamy and indulgent with pieces of lobster and freshly shaved parmesan on top. The chili added a really nice layer of heat but wasn't overpowering. The server was nice enough to split up everything we had over the evening to share (which explains the two small portions in the photo). MN Mule - 8/10 Pretty average but solid mule. However, it was served in a plastic spam cup which elevated the whole experience. Margarita - 9/10 Very good margarita - we were told it was a house made margarita not from a mix. Very bright and fresh flavors that definitely let the tequila shine. Overall would definitely recommend!

Notable food: Bone in fried chicken is crispy, with a light batter and tastes like it been cooked in some well rendered fat. 10/10 Drinks: the vast bourbon selection makes for fantastic cocktail creations or enjoying neat. I loved that they have New Riff-Rye. I also love a play on the classics the Tequila Old Fashioned (Reposado tequila, coconut aquavit, agave, tiki bitters.) The inside is gorgeous: dark grey wood everywhere, very modern, and smells amazing from the moment you walk in. I love that it's in the space that used to be Cuzzy's Bar and Grill; the renovation really makes it feel like a whole new place. I ordered the cornbread skillet and a chicken sandwich (I asked for bacon but didn't get it). The cornbread skillet was excellent -- my partner had cheese curds that were melt-in-your-mouth, i love when places paor curds with the blueberry dip. The chicken sandwich was awesome: quality chicken with a super crunchy breading, and the tomatoes had a little pepper seasoning which made it stand out from your usual sandwich. I also tried their Mac and Cheese. Thats pretty good its dauced just right and i think its pimento cheese. Partner also tried chicken and waffles, which he enjoyed but said it wasn't his favorite -- not really a chicken-and-waffles guy. The sweet potato fries were tasty, though a bit soft rather than crispy. Service was fantastic. Our server was very sweet, attentive, and helpful with suggestions and questions. The bathrooms were clean, and the bar area looked well done. The space is much bigger than the old restaurant, with more booths and seating than I expected. Overall, I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I would definitely come back to try more off the menu -- everything looks tempting. A wonderful spot in Chaska that's worth visiting. Go visit!
