I had gone there around 3 PM to get clothes for my daughter, but they didn't look good on her, so I went back the same day around 7:30 PM to return them. When I returned, she was laughing and being very nice to other customers, but the moment it was my turn, she stopped smiling and treated me coldly for no reason. She also looked me up and down, which felt very disrespectful. She appeared to be brown, and the customers she was being friendly with were also brown, while I'm Asian, which made the situation feel even more uncomfortable. When I whispered to my partner what I was thinking, he said he thought he was the only one feeling like she did not want us in there. Upon first walking in the woman behind the counter didn't say hello she was on a phone call for quite sometime. Second I brought her a bag full of gently used / new clothing and 4 pairs of brand new sneakers Nike/ Jordan etc (she took everything!) and only gave me $12 store credit... i feel robbed and would have much rather have given my clothes to someone in need but lesson learned. I don't like greedy people who try to take advantage of others. That wasn't very nice and it wasn't worth the 25 minute drive and hassle of parking. Facebook marketplace or children's orchard is a much better option in my opinion. I cannot recommend this store enough!!!…read more I procrastinated on picking up a suit for a wedding this weekend, went to all of the usual places in panic on Thursday afternoon, Macy's, Nordstrom, etc..., and couldn't find anything I actually liked for the prices I was going to have to pay at those spots. Came home Thursday night and Googled "last minute suits Los Angeles" and came across several Reddit threads recommending Al Weiss Men's Clothing. Made it over to them at 10:30 am Friday morning and a gentleman named Eduardo quickly assisted me and helped me find a great suit in the exact color I'd been looking for (deep forrest green) immediately. The price was incredibly fair and Eduardo pointed me to Silver's Tailor Shop across the street to have my new suit quickly fitted to me. By 11:15 am I was headed home, at 11 am the next day I picked up my new suit from Silver's and it fit perfectly. At 4 pm yesterday I arrived at the wedding feeling very good about my purchase, and the new suit got me compliments throughout the entire event. Been spreading the good word about these guys for the last 48 hours and will definitely be back to them for future suit needs; hopefully on a less aggressive timeline.
