I ordered enchiladas and they were disgusting! No sauce despite the fact that I asked for red sauce ! I spent almost $50 to DoorDash it. It was completely un edible. I took pictures to show the restaurant how disappointed I was and how I wanted my money back or a new one made. No one ever called me back. My dog wouldn't even eat it. I will absolutely never go to this place again.

Great food! Especially the pork burritos and the trio with salsa, guacamole, and melted cheese.

Spicy Mango Margarita + Chips & Salsa

Took a quick pit-stop at Lucharitos for lunch on one of the first warm sunny days in Long Island. I saw that they had outdoor seating and of course who would pass up a Margarita. The most notable impression from this place, besides the spicy Mango Margarita, was the hospitality. The service and friendliness from the staff was top notch. The spicy Mango Margarita is a must (if you can handle spicy food and drinks) and the nachos with salsa were the perfect combo. I will definitely be passing by again when I'm in the area.

Coconut Shrimp Taco

The coconut shrimp tacos are absolutely delicious!! Came in on a Friday afternoon and even though the dining room is small we were able to be sewed right away. The service was great and enjoyed everything we tried.

Had a great lunch today now that Little Lucharitos in Aquebogue was open again! The food was yummy, atmosphere was fun and the manager was super friendly and accommodating! The kids had fun in the game room looking forward to our next trip back!

Such a super cute Mexican spot! The decor was very bright and festive, both inside and outside. The service was a bit on the slow side, but at least the staff was friendly. I ordered duck and shrimp tacos - both tasty!

I had an awesome time here. They have a ton of fancy kinds of margaritas, i got a mango, and the steak quesadilla was amazing. Also the playhouse next door was so cool, they had classic arcade games like street fighter. The manager Christian J showed me around and gave great recommendations, definitely coming back

Tortilla soup

Sat outside with a very friendly hostess/waitress who served us. Shrimp nachos were great and the chicken tortilla soup perfect for a cool day. Liked the option to sit outside. Inside was a full house, many people looking like they were enjoying their food. I will go back when out that way.

Shrimp nachos. Get them! Great food. Great service. The staff was very busy but super attentive. Very friendly. The food was so good.

My wife and I are a fans of the Lucharitos locations! This spot is small, but has a cool atmosphere and delicious food. There have definitely been times we wanted to stop here, but the wait was just too long so we just decide to continue on. Finally, we got lucky on a Saturday night and had no wait at all (thank you winter off-season and NFL playoff game). Since we were some of the only people in there, service was fast, attentive and nice. We also ordered off a regular menu and didn't see any QR code. We'd definitely come back to eat here, but don't really find ourselves out that far east too often. This place is close to the Tanger Outlets in Riverhead, and is nearby if your visiting farms or vineyards on the North Fork! Just be wary of a wait time depending on the season.

Waited 40 minutes for a literal single taco. It was subpar at best. Wait staff was not friendly or attentive -- no one came to check on us even once while we were waiting or eating. Cool vibes but not worth it.

Stopped in for a late lunch. Burrito bowls (carne asade and chicken) were excellent! Lots of ingredients, freshly made. Good margaritas too.

But that is not why I am willing to drive long distances to play the wonderful game of Golf. It's because I enjoy playing on a golf course that are difficult to get on unless you're a member. And if a family or friend invites to you to play, I never say no. The Vineyards Golf Course is a beautifully designed course that easily blends in with its surroundings. The course has three set of tee boxes which we chose to play the back tees of course. Why??, well because the young men I was playing with can drive ball 300 yards plus and sometimes on the fairway. It sure did not help my game when I attempted to drive the ball the distances they seem capable. I found the Vineyards golf course challenging with its rolling fairways, protected by large meandering sand bunkers, false fronts and hazards. We had a windy day that played in our favor on some holes and others which easily challenged us. The par-3 holes were a variety in length, direction and difficulty. The secondary roughs had fescue grasses and in some cases we were lined up along a corn field farm. Vineyards was much more challenging than I anticipated, but I very much enjoyed the course and would love to play there again before the season ends.

Unlike the restaurant that was here prior, the menu is not centered around fried food options, though they do have some if you need a fix. We found the lobster bisque tasty, the salads are relatively basic, but fresh and flavorful. Good jumbo shrimp cocktail and raw bar options. Calamari was a bit more breading than squid then i'd like but it was tasty and not soggy. if you are looking for the fried stuff, the Po-boy with fries was a hit! Prices are a bit steep though as an $11 salad quickly becomes a $30 one if you add a protein. Kids menu available upon request (though not published) and includes a hamburger, fried flounder, butter noodles and chicken fingers. Though the staff was super friendly and helpful, there were definitely long gaps where we expected to see someone more often, especially when it came to getting the check. Think they're just finding their footing and expect they will have it down soon so would return, especially to try the seafood poutine!

Why have I been walking past Alpina everytime I'm in Greenport?…read more Was it the dark atmosphere? Did I think I was getting just another American-German influenced restaurant with only brats and potato pancakes? Did I expect polka? The experience was actually slow and refined, without the white tablecloths. Alpina has German, Swiss, and slightly Northern Italian influenced cuisine, along with a selection of alcohols I was completely unfamiliar with... which made the experience feel full of new things. The most memorable food was actually one of the simplest. The chef prepared incredibly creamy, caramelized onions with a slight sauerkraut tang that was amazeballs. I told our waiter that I'd write him a love letter over it, and here I am! The pappardelle had shredded duck, cheese, and big, fun, chewy noodles that were satisfying to slurp. It just needed a dash of pepper to elevate it. The meat and cheese board included a few things I'd never tried before, and it was so good I was searching for a meat shop in Manhattan so we could buy them again. Portion sizes aren't huge for the price, but it was worth it to us.
