    Crispy chicken.

I will refrain from commenting on beers since I don't know my beers. I liked what I had though. Food was good! I am a huge fan of uni with pasta/ramen/udon so we had to try this. The uni spaghetti carbonara was not really what I expected in a good way. I usually find carbonaras to be too heavy and creamy but this one was just right. I appreciated the bacon bits diced rather than bacon flakes, there were decent portions of bacon to add flavor. I liked the crispy chicken, it definitely was freshly made and served hot.

UPDATED: The "Snack Menu" served from 12pm-8pm (I think) saves the Weekend! Sliders, crispy chicken and others give better options on a Saturday afternoon than just those on the Brunch menu (served till 4pm). ************** Came for brunch and was disappointed compared to dinner the week before. The best part of our brunch were the fries they accompanied the burger - I'd be back for the fries. The 6oz Angus burger though had too many flavors going on from the bacon, onion jam, smoked cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce - I couldn't tell you how it actually tasted. The Brewers wrap (sans bacon) on the other hand lacked all flavor. Added pepper and Tabasco just to taste something, but still wasn't enough. Plus, there was very little filling compared to the oversized wraps that encased the eggs, avocado, black beans, BBQ sauce and cheese. It more closely resembling quasedilla given it was just folded over and not actually wrapped... It's still in the early staging and this place has A LOT of promise.

This is a micro little brewery restaurant. Full of expectation before trying our their beer. Sorry. But it's very flat beer and not cold enough. We tried out the tasting paddle which come with 6 different beer and unfortunately none of them are fine with us. May be it's our taste? I don't know. Food are alright and taste ok, but not super tasty that I would come back. Fries are good. but the mini burgers are quite cold. Price are mid-range but its a good stop for Aussie to hang out. I saw lots of Australians hangout and chill at this restaurant.

The store is on the 4th floor of a building by the street. I found that they had an excellent collection of local craft beers and a good coverage of beers from around the world. They also sell home brewing equipment and different malts and hops; this is serious craft beer store! The staff was courteous and knowledgeable. She recommended an IPA, Si L Dan, which was a collaboration between their staff and a local brewery.

I learned only of this place thanks to Yelp and was fortunate enough to attend an event or two at their location in Central. It all starts with education. They've got the documentation, training, and high quality inventory to help make any homebrewer's dream a reality. They've brought in actual brewery masters before to help train folks on their palate (which I could always use work on) and get them started with their home brew kits. The staff is knowledgeable and above all, passionate. They are also homebrewers as well, with some of them happily leading on sessions on their methods of homebrewing. From novices to seasoned home brewmasters, they've got the right tools in place to help people achieve the results they're looking for in duplicating certain craft beer profiles. And they've somehow managed to make it all work, even with a small interior and tough to notice location. A great team goes a long way and I can't wait to see what they have in store next. One very minor request: More Oregon Beer!

The meat is smoked well and is tender and the sauces are pretty good, although the spicy kind is probably my favorite. I really like the brisket which is really flavorful and the smoke rings on it show it's been cooked low and slow. The beer selection is pretty decent-especially compared to some of the other places that say they 'serve craft beer.' What impresses me most is they pay attention to how its served and the staff definitely knows their stuff when it comes to beer, a few of the staff having their cicerone certificate, it's like being a sommelier but for beer. If I have visitors I usually take them here after all the tourist- stuff.

They have all kinds of beers on tap, including a great selection of American beers but I was there to try the local ones, and they had plenty from Hong Kong and Asia! The bartender was very welcoming and when she found out we were visiting, she let us sample many of the Hong Kong beers. We tried an interesting sour trio from Yardley Brother--beers made with Mangosteen, Lemon, and Thai Chilli. I was hoping to like the Mangosteen one but it was a bit too muted for me; however, I LOVED the Thai Chilli sour so I ordered a full pour of that! Other great Hong Kong beers we tried were the Hunk Sir Milffee Porter (made with coffee and lactose) from Heroes Beer, and Meringue-utang strawberry/vanilla milkshake Double IPA by Carbon Brews. Beers in Hong Kong seem to be on the expensive side, although at this place the price wasn't quite as high as others. They also served food (BBQ) but we didn't get to try any. But I'd definitely come back here next time in Hong Kong!

It doesn't take itself seriously (I mean, their craft beer list on the wall includes a height chart that has both world leaders and dictators' heights) and the bartender that evening knew how to chat us up and keep us off our phones. Since our table became available 50 minutes earlier than expected, we were unfortunately forced to down our drinks quickly so we could get our spot. What a way to get a buzz ASAP! I was a little bummed out by the beer selection, which included HK breweries but very light beers. I was also not particularly jazzed about the whiskey selection, though the shelves include the classics. This bar definitely seemed like an ex pat bar with large work groups hanging out after the work day. The space is small, so with large groups in the space, it was a bit hard to hear each other. The bartender on this given Wednesday - I missed his name - was friendly. He was new to HK so didn't have many recommendations, but he's a good conversationalist.
