Awesome place for some French Fries and BEER! This might be the one and only Pub that brews its own beer inside the Restaurant. They are originally an Australian Company that has expanded all the way to Hong Kong. Their Beer Flight is about $100 and totally worth it. I hate giving a negative review. I know how hard most small business owners work and it pains me to be potentially hurtful. The beer is honestly a 1. The atmosphere and the food were a 4.5 and thus I gave it a three. Its an eclectic well decorated atmosphere and the beer tanks are there to see. I ordered a pizza that was delicious, possibly impacted by not having eaten in 20+ hours but regardless it was really good. My wife got a salad that was colorful and delicious. Now the beer. My buddy and I are beer lovers and really seek out unique IPA's. So we ordered that first. It wasn't good. I had to force it down. So my buddy thought ill get a flight and we will find one we like. Tried them all and didnt like any of them in spite of wanting to so bad. Some of the best breweries I have been to are in asia, Great wall in beiijing, brewerkz in singapore, heart of darkness in saigon, etc. This place is ahead of them in food and way behind in beer. It was difficult getting to Kennedy Town back in the days but with the MTR now expanded to this 'hood, Little Creatures is just what HK needed in terms of craft brews! They are an Aussie brewery (my friend down under love this place) and opened up a massive taproom (huge for HK standards, especially a beer spot) so there's plenty of space if you're with a group. We didn't get to try their food but did get down on a handful of beers. They are much more experimental here and have everything from Amber Ale to Belgian style sour and tart beer. Cheers to that! I will refrain from commenting on beers since I don't know my beers. I liked what I had though. Food was good! I am a huge fan of uni with pasta/ramen/udon so we had to try this. The uni spaghetti carbonara was not really what I expected in a good way. I usually find carbonaras to be too heavy and creamy but this one was just right. I appreciated the bacon bits diced rather than bacon flakes, there were decent portions of bacon to add flavor. I liked the crispy chicken, it definitely was freshly made and served hot. read more

While the craft beer scene is growing in Hong Kong, it's hard to find a good brewpub. So far, LC is the only entry that has a production brewery and a kitchen. I went there because of that reason but I've only had their beers there. Their year round beers are okay- Rogers ale and the Pale Ale are good and they've seemed to increase their lineup lately. The best thing I like about it is the Randalizer, where they infuse different flavors into their beers. They try to use a lot of Asian flavors with the beers to create something unique. The ginger is probably the best combination I've had so far and it adds a sweetly, spicy dimension to their taps. read more

UPDATED: The "Snack Menu" served from 12pm-8pm (I think) saves the Weekend! Sliders, crispy chicken and others give better options on a Saturday afternoon than just those on the Brunch menu (served till 4pm). ************** Came for brunch and was disappointed compared to dinner the week before. The best part of our brunch were the fries they accompanied the burger - I'd be back for the fries. The 6oz Angus burger though had too many flavors going on from the bacon, onion jam, smoked cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce - I couldn't tell you how it actually tasted. The Brewers wrap (sans bacon) on the other hand lacked all flavor. Added pepper and Tabasco just to taste something, but still wasn't enough. Plus, there was very little filling compared to the oversized wraps that encased the eggs, avocado, black beans, BBQ sauce and cheese. It more closely resembling quasedilla given it was just folded over and not actually wrapped... It's still in the early staging and this place has A LOT of promise. read more

Kennedy Town is so cool. Get it while it's hot, people. I really like this spot - you can easily get there from the MTR and it's full of yummy (but pricey) brews. It also feels quite spacious inside, which is rare in Hong Kong. I've been here for brunch and it was yummy. Solid amount of food and I liked whatever IPA I had (can't remember). Came back actually for NYE as I was just having dinner with a friend and the price was right for coursed meals and free-flow. It was advertised as "Carnaval" which apparently only meant that at one point a very beautiful man in drag came out and sang and danced. It was over too soon and should have been repeated. I look forward to going back a few more times...they had some excellent craft brews and some cool looking merch. You can also create your own six pack to go! read more

Went to Little Creatures for breakfast this morning. We were actually the first ones there at 8am sharp. The location is nice, very much what you'd expect from a modern "hip" microbrewery. The salmon eggs Benedict are always my test for new breakfast joints and Little Creatures did not disappoint, they were indeed very good. They weren't served with sides or anything though, which was a bit disappointing. The croque madame however was amazing. The waitress warned us "it's not your typical croque madame" and indeed it's not. The pork belly makes it really really great. I did try one of their beers before leaving - the house brew - and it was quite a nice, very English beer. I recommend it if you're not in the mood for Asian food and you're a little home sick. Overall a solid breakfast. read more

I am not a creature of habit, I'm an explorer at heart. So after 15years of business travel in HK I have tried my fair share of places. This... this place has become one of my favs. I come here more often than any other place in HK. Checks all my boxes. 1. Great views that give a sense of chill yet good for people watching. 2. Amazing beer 3. Good food versus the typical bar grub. 4. Pleasant and attentive staff A place to pull your laptop out and work all day with a pint in your hand. Tucked into a gritty and unassuming neighborhood, Little Creatures is the ultimate representation of hipster gentrification. We were impressed by the giant beer tanks and it's bright sunlit decor. We ordered a lunch set and other small plates and were pleasantly surprised with food. As a whole the food was fresh and looked tasty, although lacking in salt. Nothing a dish of sea salt can't solve. We also requested for lime wedges for our guacamole. Our favorite dish was the carbonara pasta. It was perfectly made with generous portions of bacon. Yummy! This place is super cute and the food is SO GOOD! I loved everything we had we went on New Years Eve, around lunch to get ready for the long night and boy was it delicious!! The beer was so good, I am bummed that I couldn't try a lot of their flavors that they are working on but hopefully Ill be back to try! I'm obsessed with Little Creatures. I'm not a beer person, but even without the beer this place wow's my socks off. It's one of the biggest breweries/restaurants I've seen in Hong Kong. How they managed to get such a nice open space is beyond me. It's great for big parties, and I imagine it'd be a great place to even book out for a whole evening for a birthday or company party. The food is SO good. My favorite is the cauliflower appetizer. They're on Eatigo regularly which makes the bill super reasonable. read more

This is a micro little brewery restaurant. Full of expectation before trying our their beer. Sorry. But it's very flat beer and not cold enough. We tried out the tasting paddle which come with 6 different beer and unfortunately none of them are fine with us. May be it's our taste? I don't know. Food are alright and taste ok, but not super tasty that I would come back. Fries are good. but the mini burgers are quite cold. Price are mid-range but its a good stop for Aussie to hang out. The house ipa is top notch!!! Just excellent! The winter ipa is very flavorful and hoppy and the Roger beer, a dark amner ale has a very very nice taste. Nothing funky here. All the real McCoy. Ate the Truffle Mushroom Tacos as an appetizer and they were great. A bit pricey but great ambience, very pleasant service and grade A beer. read more

Just landed in Hong Kong a day ago and voila. a cool vibed brewery just steps from where I'm staying. Right now, this minute, I'm having a real pleasant K. Town IPA. Not too hoppy, but yet has a nice bite. I will be having another one. Looks like there's a pretty spot-on food menu also. How chill is this place? I couldn't care less if my hosts join me. This place is super cool. It's a nice place to stop in after walking along the water, or just taking a stroll through Kennedy town. Owned by a couple of Aussies, they are one of the few places from what I gather that brew their own beer in Hong Kong inside the actual restaurant. I expected the beer to be good, as some of my friends said it was, but what I didn't expect was how good the food was. I stopped in one rainy Sunday, about 2, and the place was fairly busy, filled with young and old, and lots of young expat couples with babies. I had the pork belly sandwich which was excellent. REALLY good. I also had the pineapple infused cider which was also really good. I found it to be a touch pricey, at about $35US for the sandwich, fries and a cider, but it was worth it. Good fast service, and everyone was friendly. i would def. stop in again and try the brunch or burger. read more

Awesome environment horrible food. Great beer. My husband and I went in for a quick bite and to have some drinks. He is Australian and I am American so we are familiar w the brand. The beer was literally awesome but the food... ugh. I had to send back my Ceaser salad and we got a pizza instead and it was worse than those found in our local gas station. Having lived in Australia the past year and learned to love Little Creature's line up of beers I was excited to find out to have a Little Creatures brewery in my new neighbourhood in Hong Kong. I wanted to really like the Little Creatures brewery in Kennedy Town. The venue looks great, offers enough space and the selection of beer and wine, albeit being on the pricier side, is great. However, out of the three times that I went now I had three terrible experiences in customer service which rendered me not wanting to come back. I myself have worked in the hospitality industry for 3 years and can understand that from a service point of view things can't always go perfectly smooth which is why I tried to give the brewery another change. Most recently I invited my friends from across town to join me for a drink at Little Creatures at 10:30pm. When we arrived we were happy to see the place being quite busy with a good atmosphere. Unfortunately we were refused to get seated because apparently it was already last call even though the restaurant's own website states that they are open Monday to Sunday from 8am until 12am. I'd like to add that we only asked to come for a drinks, we didn't intend to order any food in case the kitchen was closed already. I understand that sometimes on quiet nights it is necessary that for operational reasons the restaurant is being closed early, but I wouldn't expect that with a venue that was at least still half full. Upon asking the staff they couldn't explain to me either why last call was being done already when the website states that they are open until midnight. I guess the floor staff is just following the direction of the management but I hope that management will reconsider some of the current practices because the establishment has great potential in Kennedy Town, however as it is being run currently I'm very reluctant to come back. The only reason why I'm giving two stars rather than one is because I do like Little Creature's products and believe the actual product delivered at the brewery in Kennedy Town is satisfactory. The service however makes the stay a rather unpleasant one. read more
