    Whole White Pie

Little Coyote has grown into being a staple of the long beach community and it's because of its consistent pizza quality and ingredients. I mean look at this white pie, delicious! So the question is wether you should pay $24 for a whole pie, the short answer is absolutely yes. Why? Because this pizza is very filling and the ingredients are the reason. From fresh cheese to veggies, to the meats. They all come together really well. I will say, if you are planning on eating here, parking can be a bit rough. It can be very hard during evening hours as other businesses get busy. Highly recommend ordering ahead! Overall 5/5! Great food

I pass by this place all the time! My family and I were craving pizza, so we made the decision to try this place. They do have another location, but this location has private parking up close vs street parking When we walked in it's just a small little area to order. We were immediately greeted by Elizabeth, who was so helpful and friendly. She made a few suggestions and then said no pressure and to take our time. She also gave us paper menus to look at instead of us looking at the menu on the wall. The paper menus also have the lunch specials, daily specials and etc on them. We came on a Wednesday, which I believe was a pizza and wine special. We couldn't decide on if we wanted a white pizza or regular. So Elizabeth suggested us trying their pink sauce (which is a mix between both) so we ordered half pepperoni with pink sauce and their signature white pie, but with pink sauce as well. Elizabeth then pointed us in the direction of their patio. They only have patio dining. It was cold outside, and without asking, Elizabeth said she would turn on the patio heaters for us They have canned drinks (we got diet cokes) but Elizabeth also brought out a big glass pitcher of water for us which was really thoughtful They have a bunch of paper plates, napkins, utensils and etc at little stations where you can grab them yourself. But of course, Elizabeth went above and beyond and said she would bring everything to us I think the large pizza took around 15 -20 minutes until it was ready. We also ordered a few sides of ranch (which is homemade and delicious. Has a great dill flavor) It came out in a to go box which made it easy for us when we left. We didn't have to ask anyone to bring us a box This pizza was absolutely gorgeous. I wanted to cry at how absolutely beautiful this pizza was. And it tasted just as good as it looked I will admit, it's hard finding good pizza in Southern California, but this is some of the best pizza in town. They did not skimp on the pepperoni and the white pie side (with pink sauce) was absolutely delicious. All that cheese! The crust was some of the best I ever had The menu isn't huge, I usually like a bunch of appetizers / sides with my pizza. But I will 100 percent be back. I haven't been able to stop thinking about this place and how delicious the pizza is Another bonus, they say they are dog friendly on the patio As for alcohol, they have beer and wine

I've had Little Coyote from this location (only as takeout) a handful of times but finally getting around to leaving a review as I was able to try one of their weekend special flavors. Love that every weekend they do a unique pizza: as a garlic-and-clam lover, their twist on this type of pizza just made it so I HAD to come this time around. This parking lot can be crowded if there's a lot going on but otherwise you should have no trouble finding parking in the neighborhood or in the plaza. My favorite part is that it's not hard or annoying to drive to this location at all (as most of non-downtown LBC is like). I still hold onto my previous notion that Little Coyote makes one of the best thin-crust, NYC-style slices in Long Beach; the online ordering makes it easy to pick up and take home. All the toppings were well balanced and the dough has a great texture. The pies can be a bit on the pricier side from what you might expect but they are quite big; with the rising cost of chain pizza places, the price is actually pretty good here. Definitely consider Little Coyote next time you're craving a legit slice! They have by-the-slice pieces as well, including single square orders of cheese or pepperoni.

Picked up a couple of pizzas, a sub, and an antipasto salad from here about a week ago. We got the Meat Lovers pizza that tasted great and was loaded with pepperoni, sausage, and bacon. We also got the White pizza with spinach, ricotta, Calabrian chili, and we added sausage. It was great with just a little heat from the chili. Would definitely order it again. The Italiano sub was another good choice that everyone enjoyed. The antipasto salad was ok but I think next time we will get the Caesar. We ordered ahead so our order was almost ready when we got there. All the seating is outside and limited but it seems like they do a lot of take out business. The girl on the phone who took my order was friendly and was right about the estimate of 25-30 minutes.

Did little coyote ownership change? I noticed they changed their menu and it's very apparent things have gone down hill. I loved little coyote when it opened now, it is apparent they are cutting corners. The grandma squares used to be fantastic now it's just slopped together cafeteria pizza. Very sad to see what has become of my beloved little coyote, unfortunately last time I will be coming until things change.

Great food, great service, great ambiance. The pizza is to die for and the location is central to everything. Definitely coming back!

Just a couple slices!!! Great topping ratio!

Our first time at Lil Coyote and we were not disappointed with the pizza. It had plenty of flavor and the crust was crunchy. We go with my fave pep, sausage and jalepenos and there was plenty of toppings that blended well together. We ate on the patio last night, Friday, as it was cooling down. They were busy and despite minor service issue the free cookie, ambiance and delicious pizza made up for it!! We will definitely be back and order takeout.

I'm back in town for business and was craving a white pizza. I randomly chose Little Coyote because they had Gluten Free crust available and their white pizza sounded good. Boy am I glad I chose it! I'm sad I couldn't save more of it but I didn't have the space in my hotel. The delivery was quick and o.m.g. it was one of the best white pizzas I've had in a long time. I had the gluten free crust and it did not disappoint. I loved how much ricotta was on it because other restaurants skimp out on this. Not them! I will definitely be adding this to my rotation the next time I'm in town.

This place is pretty my favorite local pizza shop. They have great flavors and their crust is amazingly textured, with a great balance of crispy and chewy. They have a weekly rotation of a unique flavor that you can find out about if you subscribe via email. It is a little pricier but that's usually the case for fancier, tastier pizza. There's dine in but I usually do takeout via phone call or website order. You can also get loyalty points guys the toast app. I have read that sometimes the orders take longer than quoted but that hasn't been the case for me yet. The staff is friendly and there's a parking lot. Would recommend!

Little Coyote - Los Coyotes Diagonal, Long Beach I'm a total pizza fanatic and always on the hunt for the best slice or pie -- and Little Coyote, LBC (Los Coyotes location) is easily in my Top 5. So lucky they're local! Not only is the pizza incredible, but the sandwiches are next level. My go-to is the Italian Sub -- loaded with quality Italian deli meats, fresh lettuce, and that tangy Italian dressing that brings it all together perfectly. As for the pizza, we keep coming back for the White Pizza, Queen Margherita, and Papa Joe's -- all phenomenal. Recently tried the Garden Pesto Pizza on keto dough and was blown away by how good it was. They truly deliver every time. They also have a solid selection of beer and wine, plus plenty of outdoor seating, which makes it a great hangout spot. The vibe is laid-back, and the staff is always friendly and efficient. Shoutout to Julie and the BOH staff -- they're the BEST. You can tell they care about what they're doing, and it shows in every bite. If you haven't been to this location yet, get on it.

The owners have changed and the pizza shows, along with poor customer service. This will no longer be my go to pizza for Long Beach. The quality of food has declined.

Ask the Community - Little Coyote

Do they have gluten free option? Tried calling and there's no option to speak to a real person.?

    They don't

    Do they serve alcohol?

    Yes

I usually go to the 4th street location but I have a group tomorrow or 10 people. Will it be easier for us to be seated together at this location?

They do have a small nice outdoor patio and a huge parking lot but since it's Mothers Day it may be busy. I would go super early before they open.

Thunderbolt Pizza in Long Beach has become my go-to pizzeria. After trying a wide range of their…read moremenu, two dishes stand out above the rest: the Pizza Margherita and the Garlic Knots. Pizza Margherita - 5/5. This is a perfect example of the care and craft that go into their food. The crust strikes a rare balance - it has that signature leopard-spotted char and slight floppiness you'd expect from a Neapolitan-style pizza, but also delivers the chewiness and airy structure of a great New York-style slice. It never tips too far into being overly crispy or dry. What really sets it apart, though, is the sauce. While many pizzerias treat sauce as an afterthought, Thunderbolt clearly does not. Their tomato sauce is rich, vibrant, and juicy, with a depth of flavor that avoids being overly acidic, salty, or tannic. It enhances the pizza beautifully without overshadowing the dough, which is exactly how it should be. Garlic Knots - 5/5. - Easily some of the best I've had anywhere in LA. These are essentially bread rolls with a super chewy interior and a thin, lightly crusty exterior, served alongside their excellent marinara sauce. They're incredibly satisfying and consistently a crowd favorite. I've brought visitors from Japan, Germany, and New York, and every single one of them couldn't stop talking about these knots. My only small critique is that I wish they had used fresh garlic instead of canned, which would have taken them to an even higher level. Still, even as they are, they're outstanding. Overall, Thunderbolt Pizza delivers thoughtful, high-quality food that stands out in a crowded pizza scene. It's the kind of place you keep coming back to--not just because it's good, but because it's consistently memorable.

We got there probably 15min after we ordered and grabbed two cokes while we waited. I tried to pay with cash and was told he might not have change to give me. I said that was ok even though it's pretty lame that you don't keep change in your register. He happened to find a very large coin bag and made me change. We were sitting right at the front and you couldn't miss us. They asked us a few times what our name for the order was and we told them the same thing every time. Finally after about 10 min they asked us for the 3rd time what our name was and then walked away. We could hear someone say "the order for Kymmy didn't leave they are here" or something along those lines. We kind of just looked at each other. The guy that rang us up came over and said, "sorry something happened to your pizza it'll be another 20min or so". At this point we had already been waiting about 15 min for the pizza. So we said ok because we were starving. One of the employees asked us if we drank wine we said no we didn't and that's why we were drinking cokes. But that was the end of it. We heard someone say our name and we asked if ours was ready and one girl acted like we were being impatient while waiting. Like we didn't just wait over a half hour for food. Finally our pizza was done after a total of 40 min and there was very minimal apology for the delay. We took it back to our hotel and we were so excited it smelled so amazing and it looked so good. I cannot tell you how disappointed we were when we took our first few bites. It was not that great. We had ordered pepperoni and the veggie pizza. We ate half of it because we were starving and very quickly regretted it. It made both of us super sick on top of everything else Needless to say we won't be back here and won't be recommending this place either
