Food was alright, I ordered dumplings, crab Rangoon, egg drop soup and the sweet and sour combo. My sweet and sour combo batter wasn't cooked all the way through it also was a little greasy, we didn't care for the dumpling sauce was, it tasted more like oyster sauce then the normal dumpling sauce, but we're not eating that because everyone has different tastes. Pork and veggies was good, with a balanced amount of pork and veggies. The lo-mein was good, but just a bit too greasy. The honey-garlic chicken was tasty at first bite, but gave away to an old, stale oil aftertaste. Which was disappointing since it started out tasting great. For more than 5 years I have been eating carry out from Little China on old Saint Augustine Road. I have a tendency to order the same thing, rice, hot and sour soup, and especially the fried dumplings. But over the five years I have eaten almost the entire menu and can tell you that I have never been disappointed with the food quality. The service has always been fast, polite, and friendly. So I was bad today. I wanted Chinese food and I was too lazy to cook, but I was starting to get tired of my regular places, lol. I wanted to try a new place and found Little China on Yelp. Yes I checked out the reviews and photos, but it was my risk for wanting to still order from them. This is the first and most likely the last time I will order from Little China. I got the orange chicken specialty, some wings and fries, and a shrimp roll. The shrimp roll was interesting, think of it as a spring roll and crab Rangoon hybrid. Not bad, but... different. Fries are just your standard fries with no salt, which in fact is how I like them because I like to control the saltiness and add to my hearts content. The chicken wings were ok, the kind you'd expect from a Chinese place. Now the orange chicken does not taste like orange chicken at all. Their menu indicates that it is spicy, but it was not spicy at all. It didn't even have any orange peels like other places do, and I don't taste any orange flavor. It tasted more like sweet and sour chicken drenched in sauce. My receipt did say orange chicken on it, so I guess that is their version of orange chicken. Service was friendly, my order was ready in a good amount of time. Stars for that. Well, at least I tried them. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. If I get a hankering for something else on the menu, I may order from Little China again. But NEVER AGAIN on the orange chicken. read more

Stopping through JAX and this place was convenient. I'm originally from New York City so that's where I first had Chinese takeout. Everywhere I go I usually order two meals to evaluate. I'll get the fried chicken wings with pork fired rice to gauge their batter and stir fry skills and the beef and broccoli with steamed rice to gauge their meat freshness and sauces. Since I was alone, I ordered just the wings and PFR. The chicken was good: fresh with a light batter. The rice though, not very good, and not very much of it either. It tasted like uncle ben's precooked rice with some soy sauce thrown in. Low and behold a reviewer said the same thing about the rice 3 years ago. Oh well. I ordered online and hated the online software, but that is not unusual these days. I had to make 2 trips because I eliminated one of the main courses by mistake! They were very fast, efficient, and friendly. I highly recommend this place for fast food Chinese. There's another Chinese place where I live and I didn't rly like it. I found that this was a different Chinese restaurant near where I lived at and I was so happy. The food is fresh and delicious and the prices are good asf. They have a huge selection and there very nice. I've gotten food 3 times already and already going to get some more later this week. This is one of the best chinese restaurants in mandarin tht I can vouch for. I plan on trying everything on the menu. The only thing I didn't enjoy much was the general tsos chicken. Too much bread for me. Other than tht everything was delicious and they deliver for a min of $10!!! It's such a great deal, they also have multiple coupons u can use. Well lunch for under $5 and you get more than you can eat, it's going to be a cinch that you aren't eating at a gourmet Asian restaurant. So here are my thoughts on lunch. * Pork fried rice - Definitely prepackaged of some sort. Odd flavor and rice unlike any Chinese rice I have ever seen. zero starch stickiness. Odd is the only way I can classify it. Think plastic pellets with some burnt vegetable mixed in. * Egg roll - Salty. Way salty. Salty like if you keep eating it your blood pressure is going to burst something. Nice crispiness but way too salty. * Fried pork/chicken/etc. - The batter for their fried meat plates is thick and heavy. Thick to the point of tearing it off to get to the meat. Very heavy batter. My big question is always, "Would I eat here again?" Well, they do deliver so that's a plus. And it is Chinese so if you've tied one on the night before and are now suffering, this makes them pretty convenient. The service was nice and the taste wasn't terrible but still it didn't score high on anything. So to answer my own question, I probably wouldn't eat here again if I had any other choice. read more

I used to order from here often. Until their postmates didn't deliver my food. I was back and forth on the phone with them for 2 hours trying to get : the driver to deliver the food or for the company to resolve the issue or for them to send food in place of what I did Not receive.
