Cornflake coated crunchy French toast with a side order of bacon cooked to perfection and hashbrowns. Very good and filling.

Great place to get food in Florence. They have a pretty big menu with a lot of variety. There is a parking lot and gender neutral restrooms. The vibe is ... chickens! Service was friendly. Please note they only take cash or check.

Everything we had here was amazing. Best breakfast stop in Florence. Staff are super helpful and attentive. You don't want to miss this place just make sure you bring cash!

Food was great, service was great and overall good time. Recommend the beignets. Has the stuffed hash-browns and it was great.

The blueberry pancake is delicious with fresh blueberries The bacon was cooked perfectly crispy but not overcooked The chicken fried steak was tasty with the hash browns, I have to say that the herb gravy was okay, not my favorite The biscuits are huge and served with butter and honey Service is fast and courteous The payment policy is cash or checks only, they have an ATM on site for cash, it does have a fee of $2.50 Smaller sized restaurant with plenty of seating They have patio seating out front when weather permits Restaurant is well lit with comfortable seating The atmosphere is comfortable with average noise level

Look how thick this chopped elk steak is.

Um.. yeah. All the food looks incredible. It was hard to choose one option for breakfast as I watch incredible dishes head out to other tables. I settled for the elk steak breakfast because I don't see elk on the menu often enough. The food came out quickly and perfectly cooked. This should be a destination place for breakfast. CASH ONLY. They have an ATM.

Even for an almost-summer Monday morning, this place was bustling! However, we were seated right away! The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu in addition to to being very friendly! We ordered Avacado Toast & (special) Lemon Blueberry French Toast substituted with bacon. Both were amazing! We're guessing they used a whole avocado on a delicious slice of toast with an egg made to order! The French toast was actually a caky (probably homemade) lemon blueberry bread sliced thick & served with truly homemade lemon curd! It was decadent! Dessert for breakfast!

Shared the Dungeness crab omelette and biscuit and gravy. Great combo!

Great service. Do yourself a favor and ask if the Dungeness crab omelette is available. Super good!!!

Such a lovely spot with amazing food and even better people. We stopped by The Little Brown Hen Cafe and had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, the kind of service that makes you feel at home. I ordered the avocado toast which was absolutely delicious, and my kids got the waffles, they loved them so much we had to order more. Just a heads-up, they don't accept debit or credit cards, but there's an ATM inside so it's easy to manage. A special thank you to the waitress who served us, she had such a warm and thoughtful way of talking with everyone. I would definitely come back again.

It's a little spot on 101 in Florence with a few tables out front. We waited 40 minutes for our order. We had a order of house made beignets to start-- Cafe Du Monde has serious competition. Piping hot, topped with a mound of powdered sugar, and cream inside! Amazing... Followed by Eggs Benedict with Dungeness crab; it was tasty but could have had more than just a dusting of crab. Cash only. No credit cards.

Small cafe in a small town that packs a huge punch in their offering and quality. FOOD We ordered crabs omelette and clam chowder. The omelette was made to perfection. The crab's saltiness balanced wonderfully with the rest of the dish. I'm glad that they didn't add more salt to the omelette. The clam chowder was a bit on the salty side. The chowder itself is fresh and tasty, but it was too salty for my liking. The cherry on top is definitely their beignets. It was fresh and fluffy. The powdered sugar was an excellent addition to the beignets it self. It was not too sweet at all! Highly recommend. SERVICE The service itself is pretty decent for a small town restaurant. They got a few servers running the floor but seems like their commendation amongst themselves can be improved. We got multiple servers asking our orders and give us waters. ALL IN ALL, solid experience for brunch at this pretty little cafe. Solid 4 star experience

You know what you're paying for, the view.....unless you're willing to pay even more; most likely the food will suck and the service will be bad because your waiter is crazy busy. Positives: -the prices were very reasonable and affordable. We got a lot of great tasting seafood and finished everything we had. The seafood boil was great. The stuffed mushrooms were amazing too. -service was great, our waitress was very honest giving us her honest opinion on what we should order. She recommended we share too instead of trying to sell us an additional dish. -ambiance, sitting outdoors on a waterfront you can't beat that. Overall 5/5 I honestly loved my experience so much that I'm ready to leave California behind. California is overrated, that's my honest opinion being a California native of almost 40 years. I used to love it and think that I would never want to leave. I can't say that anymore, especially recently.

I followed another couple in and overheard another table expressing the regret that they had not spent more time so they could eat here again... not too bad for overheard customers reviews. The table behind me ordered a crab and crusted halibut with a side of linguine that you can order it with Alfredo, marinara, or sausage sauce. Next time. I was here for the breakfast special which includes fluffy pancakes, bacon and eggs and fresh fruit...but on another day I would need to try the brisket Benedict. Chef Mari, the Bulgarian name sake of the kitchen, smokes the brisket in house. Breakfast is served all day; they are only closed Wednesdays and Thursdays. I decided to order a virgin Loaded Bloody Mary (they also have a Bloody Maria which is tequila). Sarah the server was the bartender and knew what she was doing. Bloody Virgin Mary came with steaming hot shrimp and just made bacon. Holy mother of God. Spiced with solid, well-deserved tangy kick...to off set the heat. Absolutely beautiful. The pancakes were incredible and lavishly covered with a rich blueberry compote that was thankfully not too sweet. The bacon was thick but not too thick and just salty in just the best way. Very excited about coming back for the other dishes that I saw being served. That's a good sign. Then Mari came out from the kitchen to say hello to some of us. Wonderful.

The restaurant was clean and well decorated with what looked like new tables and fresh paint. The menu is comprehensive American family fare, which in Florence is refreshing. We live here and there really isn't any other place that tours itself as family friendly. My wife ordered a smashed cheeseburger with onion rings. I ordered a patty melt with the included fries. Both orders exceeded our expectations. The patty melt was one of the best I've ever had, perfectly cooked, with cheese, caramelized onions and marble rye bread. Perfect. The fries were double fried so soft in the middle and crunchy on the outside. My wife's burger was also excellent. Both our burgers had fresh hamburger with great flavor. Definitely not from frozen patties. She's very picky with burgers and really liked it. Her onion rings were also exceptional. Not too greasy and also tasted freshly prepared. You take a bite and you don't get the entire onion piece sliding out of the breading. Last the servers were awesome, friendly, polite, and very positive. You could tell they were making a great effort to ensure patrons were happy with their meals and experience. Overall, 5 out of 5. It'll be nice when they get their beer and wine license but we understand that can take some time. Otherwise we will definitely make this a regular restaurant stop in our town of Florence!
