I was passing through town and decided to grab something to-go. Their special of the day was momos, so I couldn't resist trying them. I also ordered a samosa and chicken chow mein. The restaurant was packed, which I totally understand, but my food took about 45 minutes--much longer than the 15-minute estimate I was given. I would've appreciated a more accurate wait time so I could have waited elsewhere more comfortably. The food was just okay. It was packaged well, but the flavor didn't quite deliver. The momo filling was a bit bland, and the accompanying sauce didn't add much to the experience. The chicken noodles were surprisingly spicy, even though I had mentioned it was for my kids. read more

Excellent food & service! We enjoyed the samosas - some of the best ever, as they were stuffed with flavorful pea and potato filling and came with wonderful plum and fresh mint sauces. We had the veg tikka masala & veg combo (came with salad w mango tamarind dressing, veg korma, & rice pudding). Both dishes were nicely seasoned with plenty of vegetables. I was visiting from Southern California and was so happy to be taken here. The food was really wonderful and as a vegan it was really easy to find delicious options to try. The Veggie Korma was delicious and my party enjoyed their chicken dishes very much! I highly recommend and will be back next time I'm in town. read more

let me start by saying the food is great . so if you want good food , yes it's amazing . if you also want good service then don't choose this place . asked for lemon slices 3 x to get them finally when we were finished with our meal . our waitress would come , drop food then rush away with no eye contact . . I asked for to go boxes and didn't get them until I asked multiple times. overheard another customer ask if they could help cuz they havnt gotten there drinks . I also didn't get my rice until half done with meal . sorry it's a lot to unpack here. but the cook was amazing . the staff on the other hand are in the wrong profession. read more

While traveling thru Florence, we stopped at Himalayan GrillI will definitely stop here again. If you like curry, you'll love the food here. Not bad, but not authentic. Himalayan noodles were with spaghetti noodles from the store. Naan was probably store bought too. Portions were good. I was hoping for something more unique. I didn't even see local Nepalese alcohol drinks. read more

The service and food were ok. We liked the momo but the fried noodles were not good. It was very dark in the restaurant

First, not sure what's with the trampoline/bouncy/noisy floor, but that's just nuts. Every footstep the staff makes is very noticeable. Staffing seems to be two people-both very hard-working and agreeable, but service was not great. One person is focusing on orders, and the (dad?) sometimes greets but mostly clears tables. No refills offered on beverages over 45 minutes, and staff did not clear dirty plates when they were finished. Staff did not attempt to clear anything even at the time of presenting the check even though we made it obvious several plates were done (ie. he's making it harder on Dad). Food (Butter chicken, naan, samosas) were ok... samosa breading was lighter and crisper than most (but I would prefer a puff pastry breading!) chicken was super-tender... but the butter chicken sauce flavor-spice-wise (at medium) was just - ok. The naan tasted store-bought/not fresh. Seems to be a high rent district for just ok - food. read more

Exceptional! Great service, food and atmosphere. Give it a try. We've enjoyed curry all over the world, and we found this venue very authentic. Great new restaurant in the heart of old town Bay Street. Hope they are very successful 'cause we want to go back many many times! Flavours are spot on, and you choose how spicy you want it. We chose the Samosa Chaat appetizer, Himalayan Fried Noodle (veggie) and Lamb Saag. All excellent! And the place looks great, the service was super, and they've got a full bar. We drove over to the coast on a Sunday and all our favorites were packed. This place looked fresh and clean. And a little empty. We decided to give it a try and support a new business. It will now be another favorite!! It was delicious and the service was fantastic!! I truly hope they find a good solid base of customers. The chicken soup had zero flavor & was watery & greasy. The chicken was tough & flavorless despite being in soup. I was very disappointed in the flavor & consistency of my soup. Our family of six just finished a delicious meal here of biryani, saag paneer, veggie korma, chutneys, rice, naan, papad and three desserts. They were all terrific. Highly recommend this place. Florence needs this kind of delicious variety in its restaurant scene. read more

Three friends and I recently visited this fairly new restaurant. We were amazed how nicely it had been remodeled from the previous business, yet the original floors in this historic building were left intact. The atmosphere was very nice. We were immediately waited on and I ordered a mango lashi, which was delicious. My friend ordered a hot chai and thought it would be something authentic, (like a friend of hers had made), but she was a little disappointed. Our server was very attentive and patiently explained about the different dishes. I ordered the butter chicken and asked for it to be mild and it was, but still very delicious. It came with a good size portion of very tasty white rice and some nann bread. Two of my friends ordered combination dishes and were impressed with the size and flavor. Besides the main dish, there was a small salad, choice of white or brown rice, and dessert, which was a yummy looking pudding.
