Great service, great food, nice clean laid back vibe. We ordered the fish and chips, wedge salad and bread service. Everything was a hit. Both tourists and locals alike enjoying this wonderful little spot, would come back anytime we're coming through Florence!

We were staying in Florence and found this cute eatery in the old town. We should have gotten reservations for our group of 8 but it was a last minute decision which they ended up fitting us in but we were split between inside and outside seating. We ordered the cheese curds and fried artichokes for appetizers. The sauce that came with the cheese curds was better with the fried artichokes. I think because it was herby and fresh tasting and didn't weigh down the artichoke flavor that the spicy chipotle dip did. I ordered the veggie roll and was a little disappointed that the seasonal vegetables that came in it were mostly carrots, broccoli, and butternut squash. I got a few pieces of roasted brusselsprouts leaves which were delicious and I wanted more of that. I wish there were some interesting veggies in it. Also thought the pesto needed a bit more flavor and it probably would have been great with a green goddess topping instead. My husband got the fish and chips with halibut. I thought the beer batter was great and a strong flavor on the fish. The capper remoulade was pretty amazing especially with the fish. Our server was nice and pleasant. The food came out at a good pace, especially with the kids food Mac and cheese coming out with the appetizers. We found street parking nearby but it was busy so make sure to get there early.

Florence has to be on of my favorite coastal towns to visit. Its proximity to Eugene makes day trips to this perfect little beach town a breeze and the town's never short of cute shops to visit. One of those cute shops is undoubtedly Nosh Eatery. With plenty of vegetarian options that are actually good, I can safely say that this place is vegetarian friendly. I spent dinner time here with a vegetarian and a meat eater, who were both happy with the options provided for their different diets. This is a meal I still think about sometimes. The cheese curds were light and fluffy, the kung-pao cauliflower was perfectly crispy, and the salad had some of the freshest greens I've had at a restaurant. Our food was brought to us by cheerful staff who were great to have a conversation with. I don't think I can ever bring myself to try a different restaurant the next time I'm in Florence. Nosh Eatery's the restaurant I plan to visit every time.

Phenomenal food & service! I ordered the salmon bowl with coconut rice. Delicious! so incredibly impressed. My friend got the cauliflower steak with blue cheese and felt the same! This is a must eat if you're in the area! I didn't even take a photo of my food because it was so good. I was too busy enjoying it!

I went here for lunch with my friends today and it was a treat. We had to wait for about 15 minutes because it was crazy busy but it was well worth the wait. When we got seated we took some time with the menu and then the server came and took our orders. I got the mac and cheese with a side of fries. Others got the mac and cheese, bread and pesto, lobster roll, and halibut fish and chips. I also got a mango lemonade. All of the food was absolutely delicious! We all cleared our plates and were stuffed but still ordered dessert - one slice of cheesecake and one lava cake. Both were so good. The cheesecake was rich and creamy and the lava cake was rich and hot. The restaurant was clean and had decent seating. They had pretty quick turnover even though it was a crazy busy day. The bathrooms were clean and gender-neutral. The last bathroom is also a ride. I won't spoil it but you just gotta go in. I promise nothing in the world could ever prepare you for it.

Wow this place is amazing! I ordered the halibut green salad with avocado and green goddess dressing. It tasted so fresh and halibut was cooked perfectly. My husband ordered the halibut tacos and he was very pleased. You do not need reservations and it's not as packed and noisy as Waterfront. Service was excellent as well. This will be a necessary stop when we are in town!

Nice little place in Florence's old town neighborhood. The service was great, really nice guy took care of us. The Rockfish fish and chips were fantastic, you could tell it was super fresh with lots of flavor! Calamari was good as well. All around had a wonderful meal, will definitely go back!

    Flat iron steak stack!
    Doug M.

Stopped in for a dinner on a short vacation to the Oregon Coast...and found another restaurant gem in the small town of Florence. I went with the Flat Iron steak stack...it was a flat iron cooked to preference on top of a bed of mashed potatoes, Brussel sprouts, onion straws and Rogue Bleu cheese. This was really very good and quite filling. The wife went with the sesame halibut -- pan roasted in a sesame glaze with kale and shallots and coconut rice...also delicious. This place has a very small storefront on the main street and is easy to miss...but worth the visit.

With a storm blowing in we were craving some clam chowder. Homegrown did satisfy that craving! Unfortunately, service was a little slow because there was only one waiter. Luckily, we were in no rush. Appearance - The warm string lights created a nice, cozy vibe. (Maybe the rained helped too!) Overall, the food was plated well. Taste- Garlic Parmesan fries- mmm so delicious with a yummy aioli to dip them in! Would highly recommend! Caution if you're sensitive to garlic... be aware that the parmesan can easily be mistaken for garlic chunks! Steamers- My husband got this and said it was very fresh and he enjoyed the broth. I tried it but I'm not a huge wine person and to me the broth was very heavy wine flavored. Fried Fish Cod Sandwich- Unfortunately I learned on this outing that I don't really love cod. The fish on this sandwich was not very meaty.

Both were outstanding and way better than I expected. To be honest, the pasta dish was one of the best I have ever had and this is one dish that I am critical of because I have had really good Jambalaya pasta and some bad ones. This one was way way up there. The sausage was excellent and the chicken and shrimp were perfect, but the sauce made the dish. I can not wait to have it again. The whole staff was friendly and our waitress was excellent and very helpful. My only regret was not asking for a window seat when we got there. We had a reservation and there was a table by the window that was open, but we got seated by the entrance. A couple that walked in after us with no reservation got the table by the window which was odd. Again, not a deal breaker and I should have asked to sit there. I definitely would not hesitate to eat here again or recommend it to everyone. I am looking forward to the next visit.

Bloody Virgin Mary came with steaming hot shrimp and just made bacon. Holy mother of God. Spiced with solid, well-deserved tangy kick...to off set the heat. Absolutely beautiful. The pancakes were incredible and lavishly covered with a rich blueberry compote that was thankfully not too sweet. The bacon was thick but not too thick and just salty in just the best way. It was very oily, a little too oily for my taste, but the flavor was fantastic and it wasn't fishy at all. I do wish they gave us more bread, though, as we ran out and still had dip leftover. The chicken sandwich was good, but the chicken was too small so some bites were just bun and lettuce. The onion rings were fine but needed more salt and seasoning. The chowder was alright but was oily and a bit gritty. I've had better clam chowder down the street for sure. The staff were busy but nice. We weren't left alone for too long. Now, the food--starting with the chowder. It was delicious, packed with large chunks of potato and generously sized clams. A very solid start to the meal. The French fries were cooked perfectly crispy, though a bit on the bland side--definitely better with ketchup. The salad, on the other hand, was a standout. Easily a 10/10. The shrimp were great, and the freshness and crispness of the greens really made it shine. For the main courses, the shrimp melt was fantastic--great portion size and loaded with both cheese and shrimp. They definitely didn't skimp. The shrimp skewers with fettuccine Alfredo were absolutely amazing and full of flavor. Lastly, the fish tacos had some highs and lows.
