We started off with cocktails. Husband had a long island iced tea and I had a Jim Beam Manhattan. Cocktails were average. Manhattan had too much vermouth and the Long Island had a lot of sour... But a lot of time I think that comes down to preference. It took a long time to get our food. It was crowded and our server was clearly doing her best. The food looked good. The server said she was waiting for steak knives, so my husband just used the regular butter knife for his steak. The steak was a little tough and lacked flavor. Would have added salt and pepper to it if there was shakers on the table, but didn't want to ask for them. The fish was nice. I didn't really get "crab encrusted". I'm sure it was there but really it just tasted like breaded and fried halibut. The rice and salad were delicious. Overall everything was good. I wouldn't say excellent. And for the price, I would have expected better. But it wasn't bad. There looks to be a lot of other great restaurants that might have a little nicer atmosphere that we would try before coming here again. Overall, I would skip the steak. I would've appreciated a more accurate wait time so I could have waited elsewhere more comfortably. The food was just okay. It was packaged well, but the flavor didn't quite deliver. The momo filling was a bit bland, and the accompanying sauce didn't add much to the experience. The chicken noodles were surprisingly spicy, even though I had mentioned it was for my kids.

I can't help but wonder how these would have tasted in a good wine glass. That is my major negative here. The stemware is small stemless glasses with a huge lip. To see how these wines actually taste they should upgrade their tasting glass. Possibly a Reidel Oregon Pinot glass.

They have an indoor space where they do the wine tastings and have a pizza oven. There is a multi-tier outdoor space with view looking over the valley. The best part of willamette is the services, every experience I've had has been great with the staff. They set the experience apart from just another winery. Consistently great quality wine and service! Our wine ambassador, Shane, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, engaging, and gave our party a great tour. Can't wait to return to willamette valley!
