New owners, great food, and beers on tap. Loved the fast service and outside deck. Will defiantly be a must stop on my next trip to Oregon.

The drinks were so good there was not one drink we got that we did not love. Lots of cute decor. Tons of seating. The pool table was free to use which was nice. There is a lot of street parking and parking lot in the front on the bar. Would come back for sure.Great service!

"Insubstantial" is the best word to summarize this bar. Monkey's Paw feels like a temporary pop-up…read morestore: there's plenty of seating, but it feels impermanent as if they hadn't fully moved in. The decor feels arbitrary and hasn't grown in the 3 years between my visits. The bartop is tiny despite plenty of wide open space in the venue, adding to that empty feeling. But it's the only tiki bar for miles and it has a unique tiki + horror theme that I appreciate: emphasizing creepy mugs, playing vintage Godzilla on the TV, and a collection of drinks named after monsters. They also have custom mugs for sale, which is always awesome to see. My partner enjoyed her Chinese Mai Tai, but my Bride of Frankenstein tasted like light cream. The service was good. They were professional and personable and bantered well with everyone around the bar. There seemed to be plenty of regulars making the rounds in the early afternoon. So if you're in Eugene and want a tiki drink, this is the place to go.

And it goes without saying, a fantastic view of the Pacific Ocean. Second night: The staff in the bar area is amazing. Auguste is the best - great suggestions for food, attentive, and so friendly(we remember Auguste from last year). And the food is so good - Chef Tyler is still here - fantastic food (hazelnut crusted coho salmon, scallop & shrimp scampi, cioppino, bay shrimp cocktail with great cocktail sauce , key lime pie, mixed berry cheesecake, and tiramisu - all excellent). Thank you to Auguste and chef Tyler for making our yearly visit to The Adobe special. Final night for dinner at The Adobe: another wonderfully delicious meal with the delightful Heather Marie as our server. Meals that were yummy: spring pea asparagus linguine, grilled rock cod, grilled shrimp, and cioppino, key lime pie, tiramisu, chocolate marquis flourless cake. Heather Marie is so much fun as bartender, and "jack of all" in food serving department(she does it all with a smile). Love The Adobe Staff - they make The Adobe what it is. The Adobe makes for a pleasurable vacation.

Their clam chowder was surprisingly awesome though! I'd give it a 3.8/4, it's certainly among the best I've had. The service is also great, the staff that was working when I was there was fast and friendly and they all seemed to enjoy working there. Try everything!

Our only complaint was a loud refrigerator. First evening, when I woke up, I thought our neighbor had on her hair dryer, it woke me up. The next morning, it went on at the same exact time. I realized, it was the fridge! Our deluxe room included a Microwave, a stove with oven, dishes and glasses and silverware. Salt & pepper. The view was excellent. Beach access was easy. The Surfside Bistro was close and convenient. We had take out and used our discount coupons that were provided at Registration. The food was good. Parking stairs down, right outside from our room. We would come back, with our families.

They give you a $15 voucher with $25 purchase. I didn't realize there was a date to use it only on the day or arrival and we were going to use it the morning of check out. Even though I did not use the voucher, the desk would not change the date for me to use the benefit. It was very very hot even though we were on the first floor. Temp was in the low 60s/high 50s and our room felt like it was 80 degrees. Typically if I have an average experience, I won't leave a review. I only left a review here because the staff would not change the date on my voucher even though I didn't use it.
