    Buffalo Chicken Wrap
    James H.

Happy to be leaving this review. Living in the general northern virginia region I struggle to find a great buffalo chicken wrap or grilled chicken caesar wrap. Whenever I do find one, it's part of an american casual restaurant menu priced at $15+ and mostly lettuce and tomatoes. This place you can grab one for $10 (plus a bag of chips). It comes 12 inches with a solid amount of chicken that's well sauced. Service was quick, think less than 15 minutes. Small place to park and dine in as it appears most people take things to go. However, there was a covered outdoor seating area. Very excited to try more of what they have to offer!

I love listrani's and visit often for Friday night carry out. Their wings are spicy and I recently tried the appetizer sampler which was a unique mix as it had breaded shrimp. I typically opt for their Italian salad and this is my favorite. It comes with antipasta and a very good house dressing but recently tried their Caesar and wasn't disappointed. Their salads are fresh and have good toppings. Most recently I tried their pizza and this was good. It's not NY style but it was delicious and cheesy. I order directly through the website most of the time as they offer discounts if you purchase over a certain amount. Parking can be challenging some times as it is a small lot but you can park on the street nearby. Lastly, the service is always great as their workers are genuinely friendly. I highly recommend this spot for a quick takeout dinner.

Highly recommend coming here for their pizzas. Their New York style pizzas are so delicious. Loaded toppings cooked to perfection. I would pass on their pastas as their noodles are overcooked and just lacking. But their pizza, well worth it!

No meat in steak sub ripoff. $9.00 down the drain

No meat is this $9.00 steak sub. What a rip-off, i will never come back. They think they're going to go bankrupt if they put some meat in it. Hope they shut down soon

Nice people. Big burger, cheap. Stale bun and skimpy on the toppings though.

They accommodated our gluten-free request, but only after the server had to go check with the kitchen. I also asked for a side of the squid ink pasta, which again, she had to check with the kitchen after saying no first. We went on a Sunday night, so it was quiet and perfect for catching up with friends. But as mentioned, the service was just so-so. It wasn't completely awful, but it just was not great. Our server's demeanor was lukewarm to say the least. Server said no right away to our requests, until she asked the kitchen, who accommodated (ie GF option and side of squid ink pasta). Perhaps she could have said "let me check" before saying "no" right off the bat, before checking with the kitchen or manager! Just sayin'.... She also started killing flies with the zapper at the bar while there were customers at the restaurant. The bar had glasses and plates set up so it was a little discomforting. Where did the dead flies drop into??? And really, who wants to see that?? After dinner, she dropped off the little handheld payment thingie and never came back. Again, the food was excellent and I may return for that alone. But now I know what to expect (or rather, not expect) for service!

The restaurant had a big menu! Lots of different options which also included other food besides pizza. I ordered the gluten free pizza. The crust was good, but for the price the pizza was pretty mid. Not a lot of flavor :/ Service was also okay. The guy at the front desk taking orders didn't know a lot about the menu or restaurant. When I asked him questions about the menu, he didn't know the answers. I also asked to order a certain item and he said they didn't sell that. I pointed it out on the menu and he was confused. He then put in the order for a different option instead. I nicely corrected the order to be the one I initially said and he got confused again and kept checking the menu. It was a struggle. The restaurant and bar itself were nice and clean. Lots of booths and places to sit! Honestly, with the service and the mid-tasting food, I probably won't return, but it did the job in a pinch.

This time, my fiancé and I decided to try multiple appetizers and everything was excellent. We ordered the White Truffle Garlic Bread which is what we get every time. I found pappardelle at Dal Grano's once and that says all you need to know. Papardelle are wide,…read moresoft, flat pasta noodles that I first had in Rome decades ago. Growing up Italian stateside, I never knew about this light, wavy pasta dish. So pappardelle pasta is like some rare delicacy and I love it. This pasta dish is not easy to find unless it has been popularized in the Italian dining scene, recently. How can I explain this pasta? Papardelle are not thick like butter noodles, but instead they are thin yet wide. And at Dal Grano's, they must be experienced to be savoured. Do call ahead, because they might just have them made. Dal Grano's is a neighborhood place. We love how when you are dining, they actually talk to you and are friendly. There are a few other places around Mclean proper which I wish were more overtly warm and hospitable, in this way. All of Dal Grano's pasta is homemade and delicious. It's definitely great for carryout pasta or a diner-style environment with a homemade pasta lunch or dinner. I don't think they deliver or work with any of the delivery services. You just call and pickup. The butternut squash ravioli is tender and flavorful. We have probably have gotten different versions of their ravioli every time. Outside of the papardelle, I'm all in for their rich squid ink pasta when it's made. I don't go there enough to know if it's always available. They have over 50 homemade pasta combinations to choose from and a big freezer case of food to take home. My biggest issue with Dal Grano's is when I see all of the pastas in the serving bowls presented to order and cook, I want to buy them all at once. I know it sounds tacky, but they make me yearn for a pasta buffet there just so that I can taste all of the variations. Alas, if we were in town more we'd just need to go more often to taste all of their selection. There's only one other restaurant that does Italian this well and it's around 15 minutes away in Falls Church. But even that fabulous Italian restaurant does not compare with the amount and selection of homemade pastas at Dal Grano's.
