I've been using Liox for a few years now, and I really do think they're the best laundry service out there. (But I would say it's more than a laundry service. They do laundry, dry-cleaning, and also home cleaning--and whenever I've scheduled a home cleaning, I've always been happy with the people they've sent out to clean my apartment, because they do a great job every time.) But the services I use the most are their laundry and dry-cleaning services, and they make the whole process so easy and smooth. Their pick-up and drop-off services are fast and efficient, and so is the turn around time. They're great about communicating too. Julia is very helpful-- (not to mention kind, courteous, and professional). She texts me to let me know when they're on their way for a pick-up or drop-off. And more than that-- she'll let me know about any question or concern they have about my order right away. Like, for example, sometimes on a dry-cleaning order I'll send in a garment with a bad stain on it, and when they spot the stain, Julia sends me a text about it, just to let me know that they'll try their best but can't guarantee it will come out. And although it's true that some stains can't come out-- I would estimate that 85-95% of the time that they give me a heads-up about a stain, they are successfully able to remove it after all & it comes back looking great --with no stain! [I've come to believe that if Liox can't remove the stain, then it's just not possible, because they are so thorough and do everything they can to take the best care of your clothes as is humanly possible.] I know the people at Liox are doing their best, and it shows because they're excellent at what they do, and it's clear that they actually care about what they're doing. I always feel my clothes are in good hands with Liox. They're professional, communicative when necessary, and courteous. And-- my clothes look great when I get them back. Before I discovered Liox, I remember using some other laundry/dry-cleaning companies that offered similar services, and when I think about some of the mistakes those other laundry services made, it makes me appreciate Liox even more. Sometimes the delivery driver (from one of these other places) would deliver somebody else's completed order to me, while my clothes were delivered to somebody else. And it was chaos to figure out how to get everything back to the proper owners, because the delivered orders barely had any tags or receipts attached to them with a name, address, or order number that you could read-- and in fact once, I had a dry cleaning order that was never returned to me; it was just gone forever. But I've never had experiences like that at Liox, because they're organized and professional-- including the delivery drivers who do just as great a job as everyone else. (And the orders always come back with tags/receipts attached containing all the pertinent and relevant information, so if there ever was a mix-up, it would be easy to correct.) I'm sticking with Liox for as long as I live in New York. I've learned that when you find a company or service that's this good at their job, there's really no reason to keep shopping around; it would be a waste of time. (It reminds me of something my grandfather used to say: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."). I recognize a good thing when I see it, and that's how I feel about Liox and everyone there, from Julia who is super-helpful and aways lets me know what's going on, to the delivery drivers and home cleaners, and all the other workers who do such great work.
