It happened suddenly. I went to a party at a friend's place. Upon entering and removing our coats they were placed on a bed in a guest room. I am certain that is how my own closet became infested with bed bugs. Needless to say all of the clothing in my closet was crawling with the nasty critters. They made their way from the closet to my bed linens and mattress and box springs. Fortunately for me I live in a small apartment and do not have carpets. I did however have a sofa and two chairs in my living room. A friend that was at the same party referred me to Bed Bug Laundry. She had the same problem and found the service through Yelp. When I called Bed Bug Laundry I was in panic mode but they were very patient with me and explained their service from start to finish. I pride myself on dressing well and don't have a ton of clothing but what I do have is designer and classic and can be worn over time regardless of current fads. The cost was reasonable and I was thrilled that I would be able to save my clothing and linens without having to do any more than bag them for pick-up. I kept one outfit to wear to go shopping for a few more items but everything else was picked up after work one evening. I took a week vacation from my job, got rid of my bed, sofa, and living room chairs and did a thorough cleaning of my apartment and then just for added insurance called an exterminator. I bought new furniture and finally had my clothing and linens returned to me two weeks later. Bed Bug Laundry is wonderful working with you on storing your items until you are sure it is safe to have them delivered back to your home. Their pricing plan was more than reasonable. There is no way I could have replaced my clothing and linens for what I was charged by Bed Bug Laundry. I would highly recommend Bed Bug Laundry if you find yourself in the same situation with bed-bugs. This entire staff is incredible and customer service oriented from start to finish. read more

I consider my home, my own piece of heaven on Earth. I decided each detail in it to make it perfect for my needs and my taste. So, imagine my shock when, thanks to some new neighbors, some tiny little monster bed bugs came to invade my place and broke the tranquility and the peace I created. I was desperate, confused and I wasn't really sure on how to handle the situation. I asked for advice to some of my friends, and one of them told me to look for a laundry specializing in bed bug infestations. Surfing through the internet I found out about Bed Bug Laundry. I gave them a call to ask for information and to see if they could help me solving the crazy situation. Bob, while talking on the phone, noticed I was in panic and helped me calming down, explaining to me how everything would work out and he was also very kind with me and we agreed for a pick-up late in the evening due to my work schedule. After I made sure all my clothes, covers, sheets and pillows were safe, I moved to a friend's house while the landlord took care of the extermination. Those bed bugs got me really concerned so I had the extermination done twice and even after the second extermination I didn't feel too comfortable to go back home so I asked the extermination guys to check again and after they confirmed to me that everything was clean, I called Bed Bug Laundry again to finally get all my clothes back. Everything was washed and dry cleaned so well and the bill which was way cheaper than what I was expecting. Having this infestation was a very bad adventure for a control maniac like me but thanks to Bed Bug Laundry, and especially Bob, everything turned out the best way possible. If you ever have the same problem as me, I highly recommend using Bed Bug Laundry and its staff for their professionalism, patience, reliability and promptness. read more

We finally made it! The three of us had been friends since our college days. We talked about and dreamed about an apartment on the upper east side of New York City and a few months ago that dream became a reality. The apartment was everything we dreamed about. We were beyond thrilled. Before we found the new place two of us shared an apartment in SOHO and our third roommate had her own in the Village. It took us about a month to get all of our stuff moved in before we were finally "home". And then the nightmare began! It was subtle at first so we didn't realize what was happening but then the infestation took over and we were fighting a losing battle. We had bed bugs. We were pretty sure that we did not bring them with us because none of us coming from two different apartments had the problem before we moved. We had no idea where they came other than maybe a second-hand chair we bought from a person in the building. But they were everywhere by the time we realized what we had. All of our clothing and linens were infested. We tried an exterminator but this did not solve the problem. One of our co-workers suggested a service called Bed Bug Laundry. We gave them a call, explained our problem, and were told not to panic because they could solve our clothing and linen infestation. We were very impressed with Bed Bug Laundry. Their professionalism is superior. And their prices are affordable. All of our clothing and linens were bagged, picked up by Bed Bug Laundry, treated, and held at their location until we were rid of the problem throughout the entire apartment. We would highly recommend the Bed Bug Laundry service if you find yourself in the same situation as we did. read more

I couldn't believe my luck. I'd been in my apartment less than two months, and it was finally beginning to feel like home to me, when I discovered the two nasty creatures that would upend my life for the next week. Bedbugs! Nasty, disgusting and expensive to kill. Not what I wanted to experience after laying down an obscene amount of tuition money just a day before. Still, I'm from New York City and I like to deal with things head on. So, after the cursing and yelling subsided I did everything you're supposed to do when your home is infested with bedbugs. I adjusted my furniture so that it wasn't against the wall, I removed all the clutter from my floor and I called the exterminator who told me that bedbugs live on your clothes. The thought of putting on clothes and being covered in bites and welts disgusted me. So, when a neighbor recommended Bed Bug Laundry I was eager to call. A nice man named Bill talked me through how the process works and set up a time for one of his people to come and pick up my clothes. I had the exterminator from Orkin over the same day I sent my clothes out to be cleaned. I waited almost 3 weeks before I was convinced that my apartment was bedbug free. Bed Bug Laundry held my clothes for me the entire time. When I finally told them to bring the clothes back, they were returned to me in 8 separate bags, all folded neatly and all critter free (believe me I checked!!!). Bed Bug Laundry is not a service you ever WANT to call, but when you NEED to call them you'll be grateful for their professionalism. I highly recommend Bed Bug Laundry Service! read more

I recently took a two week trip to Europe and when I arrived back home, unfortunately I brought bed bugs back with me. It was an awful experience finding the bed bugs among my things and I was pretty distraught, completely lost and unsure of what to do. I immediately thought I would have to basically get rid of all my clothes and sheets, however before I did that, I did a little research just to make sure I didn't have better options. Turns out I did. When I found Bed Bug Laundry, I was so relieved. The process was simple and easy, as I just sent over all my clothes and Bed Bug Laundry took care of the rest. When I initially contacted Bed Bug Laundry, they were swift, quick, and so courteous. They even moreso put my mind at ease by answering all the questions I had about bed bugs in general and the overall process of getting rid of the infestation. The turnaround time was good and the fact that this place was so affordable was truly a godsend. When something so horrible and unexpected like a bed bug infestation pops up, you can't afford to break the bank and wait forever to get things fixed. I hope I never have to deal with this again, but if I do, or if I run into anyone else that does, Bed Bug Laundry is the absolute first and only place I'll go for a solution. I am so grateful to them for making such a gross situation right again. read more

A few months ago I found out that I have a bad allergic reaction to bedbugs. I started to get rashes every morning. At first I just went to see a dermatologist. That didn't help. But then a few weeks later I had a few friends stay over and they got all these little bites all over their bodies. One of my friends from work Mary was familiar with this problem. She had once had a bedbug infestation. She told me what a nasty ordeal it can be if you don't get professional help, I think she went through it twice. So she laid out the plan I would need to take to rid myself of these pesky bugs. I had my apartment treated by Boot-A-Pest, they were good, and she recommended using Bed Bug Laundry Service to dry clean and wash all of my clothes and bed sheets. Apparently they have a treatment that rids everything of any sign of bed bugs. Well it worked and I never had those itchy rashes again. The whole bedbug thing is a terror, Bob was very kind and understanding through the whole process. read more

The truth is, as i grew up i thought bed bugs were something my mom made up to scare me into cleaning up my room and keeping everything neat and in order. I just recently moved into a new apartment on the upper east side with my husband and guess what, the bedbugs do bite. I thought it was just mosquito bites but my husband knew what it was and did not hesitate to take action. I was just going to take all our stuff to the laundromat and thoroughly clean the house but he said it wouldn't help. He then decided to consult professor Google on how to thoroughly get rid of bed bugs and he came across these guys. We had not even considered where we were going to take our things while the house was treated to kill the little critters. I took it as a sign and packed up our clothes for storage for a while. Gladly we are now bed bug free (i hope for a very long time). Their service was excellent and affordable. Anyone having the same trouble in the area should definitely call Bed Bug Laundry. read more

Bed Bug Laundry did everything they said they would and more. This company goes that extra mile to get you bed bug clean. It all started about 8 months ago when I started having bites, my landlord called the extreminator and they didnt find anything but I kept having bites. Several weeks later, I called a different exterminator recommended by a friend and sure as sure they found bed bugs. Orkin recommended we use Bed Bug Laundry before our apartment was treated and we did just that. We called this company compared prices and then schedualed a pick up. They came within a few hours took all our clothes and linens and had them washed. Several days later we asked for a delivery and everything was returned in transparant bags. The whole process was seemless and stress free. The prices were resonable and just as much as the laundry service on the corner. read more

We had a major issue in our building on Amsterdam Ave in the uws. The apartment next door to ours had gotten treated by the exterminator 3 times and the landlord finally evicted the tenants. We had called Bob in August and sent everything we owned, I mean everything including handbags, shoes and rugs. The apartment was like empty when we had the exterminator come. We finally had delivery in September and all we had to do is put our things away in the closet and drawers, it cost us about $375 each to do our dry cleaning, laundry and shoes .This service is the best thing you can do if you have a bed bug problem. They are open late and on the weekends for those of us who work long hours. Trust me, this is the best thing you can do by having all your things cleaned and washed by these professionals. Five stars all the way. read more

I highly recommend using Bed Bug Laundry. It was a serious lifesaver when I got bed bugs my second week into my freshman year at Columbia University. Not only was I stressed about my new environment, but I had a bunch of bed bugs to come home to. Not very welcoming, nor a great start to the year. I searched the internet and quickly came upon this great dry cleaning and laundry service. I called them and they came at a time that fit my schedule to pick up my things. A few days after, I got my laundry and dry cleaning returned to me completely bed bug free and unharmed. This service is reasonable and super convenient. I am very thankful for their service and I would be quick to use it again, although hopefully I won't have to! read more

I found a bug in the apartment I recently moved into on the UWS and called the Bed Bug Kings for treatment, they were the ones that recommended this laundry service. I had my last treatment this past wednesday and had all my washed and dry cleaned clothes that night. I still have everything in packaging and will be putting things away next week some time. My bedbug situation was not that bad, I just didn't want to risk it, call it precautionary. The dry cleaning prices were better than my regular store, sweaters were $5. The best part was they even cleaned my shoes for $5. I was very happy with this service and pricing and will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone having a bedbug treatment. read more

All in all, I give Bob and Bed Bug Laundry Service an A+ in quality and service. Though we had to do all the vacuuming and dusting, Bob saved us a ton of work slaving over the hot dryers in a coin-op, and he used special treatments to make sure that the bed bugs wouldn't come back. We got our laundry quickly, and it was folded neatly and smelled fresh; not like chemicals or bed bug treatments. Even though it's gross, bed bug infestations can become a reality. When they did in my my apartment, everyone was very satisfied and willing to chip in to have our stuff professionally laundered. If you're in the same boat, contact Bed Bug Laundry and ask for Bob - he was wonderful! read more

I bought a couch off of Craig list a few weeks ago. I checked it up and down before I bought it and it looked clean. I started finding red bumps on my back and it turns out they were from bed bugs! I freaked out and didn't know what to do. I called Bed Bug Laundry and they were so great. They assured me that my clothes and linens would be squeaky clean and bug-free and they would deliver them once they were done. Not only were they affordable, they took care of a gross problem that I didn't want to deal with on my own, who wants to spend a weekend at the laundry? They were super friendly and professional. I would recommend them to anyone! read more

After renting a new apartment in the city the landlord didn't mention anything about a problem with bedbugs until I was bit on the arm by one while I was sleeping. Ya know the saying that mama always says before you go to sleep? Sleep tight don't let the bed bugs bight! Well the saying turned out to be very real for me so I called Bed Bug Laundry Service to come get everything from sheets bedding clothes and shoes to service and clean. They gave me a great price and charged me only $375. I moved out and rented a new apartment that same week and they were so nice and accommodating they delivered it to my new address. I will use again read more

Dealing with bedbugs is terrible, but this company was the only pleasant part of the experience. They picked our clothes up within hours of us calling, they waited and kept our belongings free of charge while we waited for the extermination to be complete, and then delivered our clothes to our new apartment when we moved. They were always easy to reach and were very understanding each time we were forced to delay delivery. While we were fighting with our management company and the exterminators, they offered advice and help and recommendations for other extermination companies when ours wasn't working out. Worth every penny. read more

I was in my in my upper east side apartment for no more than 2 months when I saw a bedbug one night on the floor. Well one thing led to another and my landlord finally had the building sprayed by Boot A Pest and also helped us out with washing all our clothes and bedding. We helped him chose Bed Bug Laundry Service because we liked the dry cleaning and laundry services offered. Bob was very helpful, informative and considerate. They even stored our things for almost a month while we were being decontaminated. I would definitely recommend them and Boot-A-Pest to anyone with a bed bug problem. read more

I don't know what these other people here were expecting, but this company is definitely 5 stars for me. They came within a few hours of me calling, took all 15 bags of laundry, separated all my dry cleaning and delicates and delivered 3 days later when I called. This whole bed bugs laundry thing cost me a little more than $600 plus a $20 tip to the driver that did the 3 story soho walkup. I compared prices with my regular dry cleaner and they were actually less. I would definitely recommend Bed Bugs Laundry to anyone having a problem, who has the time to do this themselves anyway? read more

Bed Bug Laundry helped me when I woke up one morning with bed bug bites. I was the only one getting bites but the man from Orkin recommended all clothes in the apartment get washed and cleaned because that is where bed bugs go to hide. All our clothes were cleaned and returned several days after they were picked up. We had to stay at a hotel for a few days while the tratments were taking place so the door man received our clothes and brought them up when we got back. Jen says that that they did a better job than our regular cleaner. read more

When I was staying on the upper west side with my friends who came from overseas, I found out about this company from another friend who had a similar problem. They took and did all of our requests accordingly. The service is fast, friendly and price is very reasonable for what it is. They picked up all our clothes and shoes within minutes of calling them. Clothes came back washed, cleaned and well folded all in transparent packages. Definitely one of the best services i've used in nyc. Bobby is a lifesaver! read more
