On long business trip and needed some items washed before I went to the next stop. They were able to turn it around in 24 hours. Everything clean and nicely folded. Note- they do not deliver to hotels had to drop off and pick up. Not an issue for me. read more

The dry cleaning experts here are some of the nicest and sweetest people you'll ever meet. They even treat you to a fruit as a little surprise. And they always make sure you're happy with your purchase. The prices are reasonable and fair I would say exceptional for the service you get. read more

Got caught in a rainstorm on vacation to NYC and needed some clothes washed and folded--Yuri's was prompt, kind, and my clothes look great! Definitely recommended to anyone who needs laundry services. read more

Dropped off a few sweaters to be dry cleaned. All came out good. Woman working there is very kind and even gave me a free bottle of water. Cost was $10 per sweater. They take credit cards but no American Express. They add on a processing fee. My only issue was I dropped the sweaters off on Tuesday morning and they were not ready until Saturday after 4:30 PM. Why so long? I came Monday after work to get them at 6:30 PM, turns out they close at 6 PM. Their hours are a little limited. read more

Yuri Cleaners - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - New York, New York

Even though I have 5 dry cleaners that are closer to my apartment, I walk the extra 15 minutes to go to Yuri's. They have some of the best prices in the city for hemming and minor alterations. They've never failed to return my clothes in perfect condition, and I've trusted them with my favorite silk and cashmere items. My favorite part about Yuri's is that they always surprise me with a piece of fruit when I drop my stuff off. Today, they even gave my husband a bottle of sparkling wine for the holidays! read more

Yuri Cleaners - Free banana - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - New York, New York

Great service dry cleaners. They also do clothes mending & helped me clean my winter coat. The lady who runs it is very sweet and even gave me a banana as a snack. Only thing to note is that they close pretty early so I would be mindful of the hours when you come to pickup. Highly recommend this spot! read more

It's always so hard to find a good and reliable dry cleaning place. I dropped off a Canada goose jacket, a few other coats, and some scarves. The Canada goose was particularly in rough shape after some winter traveling. The very sweet Korean lady checked in each item (without judgment!). She even gave me a banana to eat, lol. Her husband dropped off my dry cleaning at my apartment doorman the day before the promise date. Each item was cleaned well without any issues at all. read more

I called today to see when the tailor can do a fitting for alterations on a few shirts, pairs of pants, and two jackets now that I've lost 45 pounds rather than buying essentially a whole new wardrobe. I was told that the tailor does fittings on Fridays so I'll come back here to provide an update once I get my items fixed up to fit the New Me. I'll give this posting 5 stars for now as I don't know - but I will know when I come back to Yelp read more

Jay is the best! Professional service at a decent price with a smile. And often a gift. Highly recommended. read more

Always quality service at reasonable prices for dry cleaning and alterations. I brought in a Navy dress uniform to get some stripes added on and Jay asked about my service and we started talking about his in Korea. I then told him about my recent trip to Seoul and the great stories I read at the War Memorial of Korea. He seemed very touched and insisted on giving me a soda. read more

Best dry cleaner I have used. Price is astounding, I'm always very happy with the quality of the cleaning, and very friendly.

After the dry cleaning, none of the stains were removed and clothes smelled really bad, worse than when I brought them there. The odor was so bad I had to take them to another dry cleaner. For pants, they trimmed a lot more than I asked for. Don't recommend. The rating of this place does not speak for its quality. read more

Jay the owner is absolutely amazing. He takes pride in his service, always on time, great personality and friendly. He's a gem in the neighborhood. Highly recommend and great value! read more

Formerly Jay Cleaners from across the street on 9th Ave. Jay is pretty much my favorite person in New York. The last stop I made when I moved out was to see Jay, pick up my laundry, and raise a toast to one another. I came back to visit and nearly panicked when I saw that the old location had been vacated, but I called the number in the window just in case. In true Jay fashion, he was responsive, cheery, and let me know that they just moved across the street. He even remembered my name! Service is friendly and reliable. They do a great job with cleaning and alterations. Prices are reasonable and Jay is always wearing a smile. Years later, people look at me like I'm crazy, but I still tell folks out west that my dry cleaner was among the most memorable things about living in Hell's Kitchen. New York could use more bright souls like Jay :) read more

I live in the area and this is the only cleaner I'll go to! Super thoughtful service & not too expensive, highly recommend!

Fantastic service, going above and beyond - I was looking for a new dry cleaners after moving to the area, and I was dropping off my clothes for cleaning just after hours, and the owner rushed back after I called the number to take them. My clothes were then delivered to my building a day earlier than quoted. Will definitely be my go-to cleaners going forward! read more

First time with Wash and Fold at this location, first off he super kind and helpful (gave me a bag for my clothes that was lighter so they wouldn't charge as much ) - very reasonable (10lbs for $15 flat rate ) and it's ready in a day. Give them a try - tell him Bill with the watch sent you. read more

I was in town for UNGA. This business was close to my hotel and offered a quick turn around (about 24 hours) for two suits. The owner was also super, super nice and supportive of our work. Sure enough, the suits were ready on time (actually, even a little early). I definitely recommended this business, especially for those in town for UNGA. We all know how hectic that time can be, so it's refreshing to have a reliable and supportive dry cleaner while in NY! read more

Long overdue review. We moved to the neighborhood a year ago and thankfully found Yuri cleaners. They went by a different name and moved across the street a few months back to this current location. The owners are very sweet and the dry cleaning service is excellent (and fast!). I highly recommend. - Ankit read more
