I cannot recommend this place enough! Yes, it is a little hole in the wall cleaners, but the couple running the shop are truly so kind and price everything reasonably. I came here to have a special occasion dress hemmed - 3 layers of fabric, expertly hemmed for $90, plus I included an extra $20 tip at pickup because I was so impressed with the quality of the work! The stitching was perfectly straight, matched the fabric, and was pressed so well, it looked better than when I received it! I went to Sheng Cleaners for a winter coat dry cleaning and to adjust 3 pants. Although the price was way higher then I was used to pay on my older neighborhood I thought it would be good to give it a shot. They asked me to pay a deposit when I drop the clothes and pay the remaining when I would pickup them up. When I went to pick it, they refused to take my payment in card-even though they accept cards and have a functioning card reading machine. I was aware that they accept card and didn't have enough cash on me. I politely asked her why she didn't let me know when I first drop off the clothes and she answered in a very rude tone:"I told you, you don't pay attention! Go to the ATM! You need to pay me cash!" Needless to say, this was the first and last time I go there. With so many options of dry cleaners in Hells Kitchen I will definitely steer clear from rude people that unnecessary make things harder for the customers. read more

I have had jeans hemmed, a shirt button repair, repairs on a pair of shorts, and even fast same-day service on a nasty tear at the edge of a bed sheet. The work has always been top notch and at very reasonable prices. The couple that owns and operates this place is super-friendly and they provide great service with speed and flexibility and -- if you're lucky-- the work gets done for you on the spot! I primarily use their wash and fold service, but I also come here whenever I need to get something dry cleaned or tailored as well. They are my go-to! This husband and wife duo are fast, friendly, and efficient. For wash and fold services, if you bring your clothes in the am, you can pick them up in the evening. If you live in a doorman building within a certain radius, they also offer delivery. Along with excellent service, the owners are very friendly and personal. I appreciate the relationship we've developed over the years. It's nice having a sense of community with a small business in the heart of Hell's Kitchen. When I first came to manhattan in 2017, I shopped all over west side and Sharon offered me best pricing. Wow; I can see why they seem to have so many regulars! I've been in the city for 8 years and I've never found another place that even comes close to this. I haven't used their wash & fold laundry services, but their dry cleaning is fast and impeccable. I've had some horrible luck with other places in the area (RIP, white silk blouse), but I would trust this place with anything. ALSO- the real hidden gem here is Sharon's tailoring! She took 3 dresses that were comically large on me and somehow transformed them to look like they were custom-made. When these people took over this shop they were great , shirts always looked better than when they came in . After a few months of not having my shirts pressed I go back in and they inform me I have to pay upfront and that my 10-15 dollar is not enough for charge . I stopped going to them because I was a long time customer and I figured why are they asking me now ? Every 7 months I go back in and always leave with my dirty shirts because she raises the minimum and always wants to charge upfront . I wonder if they mistake me for someone that has never picked up their clothes or what , I must have a red flag in their system . Had my laundry done here last week while on a work trip. When I got home I found all my white shirts had blue stains all over them. I tried to rewash and it didnt work. Looks like it was color transfer from a dark they washed with my whites. Had to throw away four shirts because they were ruined. I was upset at the shirts being ruined but more upset they had to notice what they did when they folded them and did not tell me.... I do not recommnd going here. read more

I never really had any issues with them until one of my white dress shirts came back looking like it had been covered in faded blue dye. One of the Hell's Kitchen wash-and-fold / dry cleaners. Angela opens shop at 7:30am and closes at 7pm Monday - Friday. They are open on Saturday but I am not sure what their schedule is. Wash-and-fold gets turned around the same day, but dry cleaning tends to take more like 2 days. I've also had minor tailoring done by them, which Angela takes care of in-store quite quickly as well. read more
