Nice wash and fold. I didn't have any clothes that are delicate or have special wash instructions, so I was pretty satisfied with my wash and fold experience here. They offer pick up and delivery, but they also let me come into the store and pick up as well. The website seems outdated, their current pricing for wash/fold is minimum 6lb @ $8.75, $1.25/lb additional. It's reasonable pricing for the area. The ladies working there are very responsive on the phone and are easy to talk to in case you have any questions. read more

This is a good cleaner in the area. The owner is very nice and greets me each time. ATMOSPHERE/ARCHITECTURE: 8/10 It's nice and modern looking and always smells fresh, as expected of the cleaners. SERVICE : 8/10 They have rush service and can get things done as quickly as the day of if you stop by in the morning. Everything comes back nice, clean and folded. I had no problems at all. I came here for a wash and fold service for my couch covers (large spill stains) , the ladies who work there are really sweet and they charged me $10 when i was expecting a lot more! not only were they friendly but the couch looks better than ever, I wasn't sure if it would come out in the first place, but hey, they got the job done. Most recently I brought a bridesmaid dress that needed to be taken in and hemmed, and a jump suit that needed to be hemmed. Small, no-frills location, but don't let it throw you...the quality of her work was above average. I work in fashion and needed to have an outfit tailored for a major sales meeting, so I was not letting a single detail go unnoticed. Even though it took her very little time to fit the garment, the results were perfect. No need for a second round of tweaking! She also accommodated a shorter-than-usual turnaround time. My only problem was that I also had my outfit (a pantsuit) pressed after she finished altering it. I paid $9 and specifically asked for the crease in the pants to remain. When I got it back, the top was still wrinkled and the crease had kind of been eliminated. I had to just steam it myself. So next time, I'll take my clothing elsewhere for pressing after alterations have been completed. read more

Went in blind to have 3 pants tailored -- two were to be tapered and one had to have the ankle seam hemmed. Around $50 for the lot, took 2 days, and they were all very well done. It feels like I basically got 3 new pairs of pants for the price of one. For your everyday staples that need some adjustment, not sure that many tailors in the area can beat the quality at that price. read more

She's a one-woman shop who does alterations. I came here because Suits and Skirts on 34th and Lex did a shoddy job of my sleeve alterations, and she was here to save the day. She restitched the hems, making sure they were neat and tidy, and also steamed out the stitching holes as much as possible. $16 charge for that. read more

I wanted to love this place, but unfortunately do not. I got two dresses and a pair of pants tailored. When picking them up, I realized one of the dresses still had safety pins in it and that no work had been done on the dress. I was leaving for vacation that day and was unable to take the dress with me due to this. When I went back to pick up the dress, I asked for a discount and they were only willing to take $3 off of the price (which was not cheap). The other pieces they altered for me were not done correct either, and the other dress will have to be taken to another tailor. Perhaps their dry cleaning is better, but I do not recommend this place for alterations. read more

I have tried about five places in the neighborhood- needing both basic work like button adding (yes, I know) and hems to major alterations on bridesmaid gowns. Each place I try I walk out feeling nervous that I was not heard, aggravated about being overcharged, and ultimately the work is rushed and mediocre. Well, my savior has Come. This seamstress has attention to detail, so cost conscious, understands how garments are made, what the customer is looking for in structure...I could go on and on. This is the first Yelp review I've written and it is because I am blown away with the lack of professionalism at this establishment. I was a first time customer (have just moved into the neighborhood into a building without laundry in the building) and was excited to find that this was on my block. I brought in a wash and fold bag along with a pair of white canvas sneakers (Supergas) which I have machine washed multiple times just to brighten/freshen them up a bit. I flagged to the woman when I dropped my laundry off that I had included the shoes in my bag for a rinse and she said it was fine. When I went to pick up my laundry and shoes, I found that my shoes were stained pink and orange - literally looks like someone had thrown up on them. I didn't have any pink or orange clothes in my laundry so I know these stains had not come from any of my articles of clothing. I came back the next day to show the woman the stains and asked if they could bleach or at the least rinse them off because they were in way worse condition then I left them and she word for word said "I don't care." I was/am shocked. She refused to rewash them, take a second look or refund a portion of what I payed and just kept repeating "Sorry I don't care" and "I'm not going to help you." I've never experienced such preposterous and low standards of professionalism. Really disappointed because this was going to be my weekly wash and fold/dry clean place and now I am going to have to find another place to take my business.
