Worst buffet I've ever been to in my life!!!! Don't waste your money they don't have many choices and especially after 8pm. They don't make any food past eight even though they don't close until 10pm! They'll charge full price knowing they don't have hardly any food out! It was my first and last time! We were there less then 20 minutes and left hungry and angry! read more

Usually they do better. I have always been happy with them. But, this time they gave my wife and I food poisoning. She had it full on, I just had 4 rounds on the toilet. I should had known when I bit into my shrimp that the sliminess might cause a problem. They forgot my shrimp dish but I was thankful they did. The Rangoon's were raw-ish. 1 Rangoon however was old. I bit into it and it flaked. It looked like if you put cream cheese in the fridge and didn't wrap it. It gets that cadaver grey look and it cracks. Usually a satisfying place. So I will chalk it up as their bad day. Also, this was DoorDashed. read more

Pros - Good selection of food and food was tasty & hot. Waitress was very attentive & checked on us regularly. Cons - The restaurant was not very clean & the women's restroom was worse. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned all day. The restaurant felt a little overcrowded. It was our first time there but don't think we'll be back. read more

The food is good enough, but they couldn't keep up on memorial day. They offer gloves to keep from spreading germs while getting food at the buffet. They have the post covid buffet figured out. BUT. their bathrooms are disgusting, piled high with paper (ok, that could be just over whelmed.) But the sides of the stalls are gross, dust between the divider cracks says not been touched in years, smears all over the dividers. The floor, gross. The dining room carpet GROSS. IDK how they pass inspection.. We just dont use their bathroom unless its a must. We have never gotten sick & the actual food areas look pretty clean. They just need to work on cleaning. read more

Lin's Grand Buffet - a person holding a receipt - Chinese Near Me - Yuma, Arizona

Chinese Food in the desert?!? When you are tired of eating Panda Express and want more variety you stop here and chow down. A little pricey, but pretty much on par with most Chinese buffets. Restaurant: The restaurant itself is quite large. There is ample seating, ample parking and lots to choose from. Inside was clean and well maintained, not something that always happens with high traffic restaurants such as buffets. Our server was very attentive and was refilling our drinks quite often. The plates were clean, another thing that is not always true about buffets, as was the silver ware. Food: There is so many food options here that it was kind of hard to choose. Not only was there Chinese food, but they had sushi, Mongolian BBQ, a steak station, Mexican food and even a salad bar. Some dishes that I liked were the beef and broccoli, fried shrimp, shrimp chicken and zucchini, and the sweet and sour chicken. The food was definitely above average, not nothing was amazingly good. There is a enough to get your money's worth here. Notes: I believe the price was around $14 a person. The servers were quick with the drinks and there is enough food options to make you go crazy trying to figure it out. The bathrooms were a little dirty when I went in, but I've seen/used worst. read more

The food was just ok. Was very affordable. Only 27.00 total for two senior lunches. Service was minimal. Went into the restroom. Just filthy. No TP. There was actually crap smeared and dry on the grab bars. Very dirty. Don't know what has happened to this place. It used to be nice food and clean. read more

I am from Vegas, and Lins buffet takes the cake for fresh buffets at a reasonable price by far. It was clean and comfortable in every way. Nice people and atmosphere even in a crowded environment was good. Five star for me. I would recommend it anytime. read more

Already expected it to be not the greatest but nothing grand about this place at all. Used to be good when I came as a kid but not anymore. This will probably be my last visit. This place is ran down and a mess. Safe yourself and DO NOT COME! They never have food out, most of the trays are left empty. Only one guy working the Mongolian and steak station and the poor guy was struggling with no help. Ice cream machine broken. Go to McDonald's at least if there ice cream machine is broken you still get a consistent meal lol read more

Well, we managed to find it. Chinese food in Yuma, AZ. I could hardly believe it. Of course, I was the only Chinese person in the building who didn't actually work here. The place is actually pretty big and seats a ton of people. Not only do they have Chinese food, they also have sushi, enchiladas, and made-to-order mongolian. And if you feel like having something more macho, there is a freshly-grilled steak station. Usually when you find an ethnic restaurant in an area where the communoty of that specific ethnicity isn't big, you'll get variations like this that play to the community it serves. The dessert section isn't impressive, as with most Chinese buffets. There is banana pudding, chocolate pudding, cream puffs, various square cakes, store-bought pastries, and a soft-serve machine. One thing to realize about Chinese food is that there isn't a ton of emphasis on dessert (with the exception of dim sum, which I don't know exists in Yuma). The bottom line is that if you're a dessert enthusiast, you won't find much here. Currently, the rate for one adult buffet is $12.99, which is paid in the beginning before being seated. The service was fine. They're hard-working, courteous, and helpful. Here are my feelings about this place. There were a bunch of good items, like the ribs, dumplings, and shrimp. However, there were not-so-good items like banana pudding. I don't normally rush to these kinds of places, but I find things to appreciate when I do eat here. It wouldn't be fair to compare this place with those of other cities (or even states) because they're not in competition with each other. So, for the sake of Yuma, this restaurant is a good choice. Not everything is good here, but what IS good is very good, if that makes any sense. But take it from me. If you're looking for authentic Chinese food, you'll have to leave Yuma. FYI: - At no fault of the restaurant, customers often cough around the food without covering their mouths. - The electrical outlets in the restrooms are taped up, so you can't use them. Makes sense since they don't want anybody mooching off their electricity. read more

Did arrive later in the evening, but not impressed with anything or anyone! Front hostess was apparently covering for everyone. As she took money made people wait then stopped taking money making us wait while she seated everyone she had waiting. Of course also meant waiting while their drinks were gotten. Food looked old and hashed over. Salad area was really disgusting as was fruit area. There was maybe one main item that looked like it had just been put out, something chicken. My guess is I ate maybe $3.00 worth of food. Table service was bad also had one guy check on us once. No plates cleaned up Will not be going back. Too expensive to be that bad! Plus everything in the restaurant looks old and worn out too! read more

Stopped for lunch while passing through Yuma. I didn't expect it to be top notch for the price but it was terrible. The salad bar does not offer any toppings for a salad except for the dressing. The only desert that had any flavor were the grocery store bunt cakes. I tried what looked like a brownie with frosting on it and it tasted like card board. Unless you are going for the hibachi there is nothing worth getting. I would have rather gone to a fast food place. read more

The interior of the restaurant was pretty large. The food, wow! So many choices! From American, Mexican and Chinese cuisine, it doesn't disappoint. If the buffet isn't in your appetite, you can order special dishes that will excite your palate. The service was great and dirty dishes were carried away soon after you finished a plate. Pretty nice. Pleased with the food, but could use more friendlier greeting/ customer service.

We have eaten there several times and have always really enjoyed it. However, after the restaurant reopened last week, we were served with paper plates, plastic silverware, Styrofoam cups, and waited in line to be served our food. We were not freeTo get one plate at a time and I questioned the disposable utensils, is there dishwashing system not sanitized? Servers wore gloves but never changed them. Will not return until things go back to the way they were. read more

Lin's use to be one of our favorite places to eat but since October of this year it has really went down hill. I would think with the pandemic they would try harder to keep customers, but we have been there two more times since and if anything they have gotten worse. The last time was January 14 and we won't be back. The food was just so so, and the service was about the same. And if you go, I would not recommend using their restrooms, I've been in some nasty gas station restrooms that make there's look bad. Eat there at your own risk. Also eating on Flimsy paper plates and cups, with plastic eating-ware was annoying, but at least the prices were the same. read more

This restaurant was terrible... the food was not good what so ever and we got seated in the very back of the restaurant where it was really hot. There was dead crickets on the ground as well as dirt, trash, and other gross things. I would not recommend coming to this restaurant. read more

Hands down the best Chinese buffet I've had. Their options are plentiful and the food is regularly refreshed. They offer both the regular buffet as well as the hibachi style, a full dessert bar and fruit and salad dishes. Lin's is fairly expensive ($14+ at dinner) but worth it in my opinion because of the quantity and quality of the food. read more

Hands down, my favorite "normal" Chinese buffet anywhere. Reasonable priced ($12 lunch and $16 dinner) with a clean buffet, plenty of options and food that is actually warm or hot (most buffet's are not) I enjoy many options here, and it's a quick meal (as it's already cooked) when you are traveling and Yuma is your lunch/dinner spot read more

First time here today for fathers day and my experience was great!! Food was fresh and delicious will definitely come back!!

This restaurant just opened a week ago amidst great anticipation. It is part of a national chain of Chinese buffet restaurants and the building is very large and attractive. We met another couple for lunch on a Tuesday at about 1:30. Even at that late into the lunch hour the place was packed. We had trouble finding a place to park. Luckily, the other couple had gotten there a little early and had already put their name in, so we only had to wait another fifteen minutes before we got seated. We had seen that there were already two reviews of the restaurant on the TripAdvisor website, and both of them were positive. On the up side, the place is very big, and very pretty inside with lots of seating. There are four long, two sided buffet tables for most of the food, plus another counter in the back with a sushi bar, cook to order Mongolian beef, and a steak bar, presumably for the evening crowd. There were all the usual choices of Chinese, along with quite a bit of American cuisine. The service, which, because it is a buffet is basically drinks and whatever extras you might want, was spotty at best. I wrote that off to new staff and the first couple weeks of business. I don't think they have all the staffing profiles worked out yet, and may not have been expecting the huge crowds they have been seeing. The other three people in our party thought the food was excellent. I found almost all the selections to be bland, with little flavor and mushy texture. The beef in the pepper beef dish was almost slimy, pretty ugly stuff. The egg drop soup was good and some of the non-Chinese stuff I had, like the shrimp, was pretty tasty. This place is part of a chain and I expected better but was very disappointed. One little key for me was to find that they didn't provide any hot mustard except for the mild, tasteless crap that comes in the little plastic pouches. To me that is a sign that they don't really value quality over quantity. Get the people in, get them out, collect the bucks. I might try the place one more time next year if we come through here to see if they get the growing pains out, but I was not overly impressed. read more

I braved the crowds and was completely impressed. Lin's buffet was extremely fresh, and there was a WIDE variety of items. The sushi bar, mongolian grille, and steak bar looked wonderful but I unfortunately didn't get a chance to try them. I was so sidetracked by the food on the main buffet that I will have to make another trip to try everything. Our drinks were always refilled by a wonderful waitress. On a side note - - I originally prepaid for 3 adult dinners and 3 drinks. One person did not show up, so when I asked our waitress if there was anything I could do she politely took my receipt and got me a full refund for that persons meal. No hassle at all! I highly, highly recommend Lin's Buffet...if you can brave the lines and terrible parking until the snowbirds leave. read more

This is a new place in Yuma. The lines are long to get in, but it's well worth the wait. Food is fresh and hot. They have sushi, steak cooked to your liking, and a Mongolian grill. They have a good variety to choose from. It is clean. The service is friendly, fast and they speak English. Parking is bad during busy time. This place needs a bigger parking lot and only has a few handicap spots. To compare this buffet to others in the area, we like this best. read more

As I review Lin's, I am measuring it against the variety of (generally crappy) Asian buffets that I have come across in my lifetime. I'm usually not, but in this instance where my party was looking to load up on massive amounts of quality food on the cheap, Lin's absolutely delivered. One thing you'll notice about Lin's is that it's pretty darn immaculate for a buffet. I love the very open look of the building, and the buffet rows, stations, etc. are very neatly ordered and well-maintained. As with any massive buffet, some items are of course better than others. The General Tso's was up there among the better ones I've had. The two stations that impressed me the most, though, were the sushi and Mongolian BBQ stops. I was pretty hesitant to even try sushi in Yuma, but I am glad I did: both the spicy tuna and the crunchy shrimp were items I would get an even a full-stop sushi joint. The Mongolian BBQ brought a freshness and liveliness of flavor that one is not apt to find in a sushi environment. I was pretty disappointed with the dessert offerings (having real ice cream, maybe just vanilla and green tea, would go a long way here), but I was so incredibly stuffed that it was probably for the best. read more

I am not a huge buffet person but this place is great. Went in early as often when I drove by the place is packed. It was $26 for two adults to have the dinner buffet. They have a good salad bar, excellent choices of Asian food including a Mongolian grill. The sushi was good and was always available. The server kept our drinks full and cleared plates away. read more

This place like most in Yuma is great when it first opens up but then it goes down hill at full speed. The hostess seemed totally annoyed when we asked for a booth. The table was still sticky from the last people and there was food on the chairs no one bothered to clean obvious food, The chairs are all sticky when you grab one to move it from all the people/kids not wiping their hands from sticky food, its kind of gross. This kind of makes you wonder what they are doing to the food. THere is plenty of food but they don't seem to care about the quality they are putting out anymore. Yes it is a buffet but having pride in you business and putting out a quality product is what keeps people coming back. The waiter was great we were curtious to him and he was curtious back. read more

This buffet is disgusting. I've known family to get food poisoning twice after eating here. Also they had a bug problem. I have a family member who ate some jello and threw up loads of it right there at the table and the waiters just wipers it with a wet rag and didn't even move them. The family member asked if they were going to sanitize it and they said there was no need. Horrible waiting time, horrible cheap made food, I definitely don't support this establishment. read more

This used to be a good place to eat it certainly has gone down hill. The food especially the noodles was barely warm by the time you get back to your table they are cold. Up on arriving home noticed they charged us for four drinks for $10.76 when we had only water. Call them by phone and the first time they hung up on us. The second and third time they refused tho let me talk to the manager and refused to refund or credit back on my credit card and hung up again!!. This is my last visit to this establishment and encourage others to find a better eating place that is more friendly and courteous. 1/2 of a star witch the staff deserves-1. Go somewhere else for dinner it's not the end of the world and it's only $10.00 but it's just the principle and to be treated with respect and not getting ripped off read more

Pretty good buffet quality food. And most importantly. STEAKS! Thus isn't the best buffet I've ever been to and it isn't even the best Chinese buffet I've been to, but hands down this does have the best decor for a Chinese buffet. And it here in Yuma, this is one of the best Chinese buffet places. There is little complaints that I have with this place because it delivers what outta supposed to and does not really try to top it. Even compared to other better Chinese buffets there isn't much to complain about this place. Everything is fresh and hot. All the food is good and does not seem to have been sitting there for too long. The worst parts of this buffet though is the ice cream and the sushi. The soft serve ice cream machine served very terrible ice cream. It was hard and very icy...not creamy like ice cream should be. Also the sushi choices were poor and were full of California like sushi... the plain sushi. However, the biggest plus at this buffet was the streak grill where they will take your streak order and grill it fresh. They also put on this incredible seasoning that is extremely flavorful. They also have a huge bottle of A-1 and even though I don't much like that sauce this is a plus for others. Overall, not the best. But relative to the area... It's one of the best Asian eateries around here. read more

My son took his girlfriend here for lunch today and had leftovers on his plate and asked for a box to take the leftovers home. They told him it would be $7.00 for a box. Why? He paid $36.83 total for the meal and he has to pay for a box to take leftovers? We will not be patronizing this restaurant again and I caution everyone to do the same. We are so disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not eat here, I would give zero stars if I could. To make matters worse, everytime i call they hang up on me !!!!!!!!!!! read more

I was gonna fake illness as to avoid a 3 star Chinese buffet. I am glad I didn't. This buffet was awesome! The shrimp was perfectly cooked, still delicate an crispy. The cream cheese wontons had TONS of cream cheese. Best sweet an sour chicken ever....very tender!! The assortment of items was great! The sushi rolls were perfect bite size. The only thing I left on my plate was a mussel.... I seriously would go back just for the cream cheese wontons! yum . read more

This is one of my favorite buffets in Yuma. The food is delicious and the service has been great so far. I have not experienced any disappointments yet. The only negative expression I may share is that the buffet does not have a variety of deserts, or at least the staff should add more deserts. Anyways, I'll give it 5 starts for how well they have been doing since they opened. read more
