You know those moods you get in? Those, "let's just go to the buffet and stuff our faces until we can't move" kind of moods? If you're ever struck with that particular hankering, then Lin's in the place to fill your desires! It's got all your typical Chinese buffet standards: the roomy very decorated interior, a myriad of food options, a sushi/grill counter, and an attentive staff. Per usual buffet experiences, not all the food is a personal winner, but the variety of options are sure to strike your fancy with at least one or two things, you just have to experiment around and find your favorites. (I'm a sucker for the fried donuts and chicken skewers, myself.) Fresh food was put out multiple times during my visit, so the turnover is good and you won't have to deal with stale food. The only thing I'd change is that I wish they had an ice cream machine instead of scoop-your-own, because the ice cream was pretty hard to serve. Also to be noted is that you pay on your way in, so have those cards and cash ready! Overall, I left fat and happy and having found my new "buffet mood" place. read more

Will not order from here again. Called because my food is old and cold and they blame door dash. would not recommend to anyone. Even my dog. Thanks but no thanks. Can't even take responsibility for putting old food out. read more

Went with family today. Sushi was okay. Couldn't find soy or wasabi. Condiments were difficult to find in general. All the food that was supposed to be served hot was cold. We probably won't be back. read more

If you feel like you need some good old fashioned Americanized Chinese food, this is the place to go. The restaurant is kept up quite nicely and very clean which is great especially for a buffet. There are 3 rows of buffet food that you can fill up to your heart's desire and the back wall is where you would order steaks/Mongolian noodle style dishes and stacks of sushi. The dessert area is a bit bare but who comes to buffets for the dessert, right? read more

I hate writing bad reviews but I had one of the worst experiences the other day because of a waiter. I'll keep it simple... 1. We weren't offered refills 2. We literally had to get up from our seats to ask for refills (more than once) 3. Once drinks were filled at their station once there they would fill it all the way to the top of the cup spilling the drink on our hands and the floor expecting us to take it to our seats dripping wet. 4. When we would ask to get our water cups refilled they would use the pitcher and touch the RIM OF EVERY PERSONS CUPS with it. CONTAMINATING ALL OF OUR DRINKS. 5. On top of that we all woke up sick to our stomach. I will say the FOOD WAS GREAT but service was poor. read more

The food was great it had a lot of stuff to chose from and it a lot good thing there so try it

I figure this place must be a money-laundering front for the Chinese mob. They can't be making profits at these prices. Endless array of food, including a barbecue grill in the evening where you can order steaks. Great service. Great desserts. Nothing here is fancy nor elegant... we're talking paper napkins and plastic plates. But it's good, it's friendly, and it's CHEAP. I can't imagine leaving here unhappy. (And, judging by the line on a Friday night, a lot of people agree with me!) read more

Had the lunch buffet last week August 12, 2021 and was not disappointed. The food is much like a couple of other Asian buffets in Tucson but Lin's has a larger selection and is about the same price. The buffet food was quite good and agreed with me completely. I am not sure if the bad reviews here are for the same restaurant. This Lin's location in the Tucson Marketplace is a relatively new restaurant, easy to get to, and very clean with a nice tiled floor. The high domed ceiling over the large dining area creates an atmosphere of spaciousness, with another two adjoining dining areas separated by an attractive balustrade on either side of the central floor area. It was a hot humid day outside and I especially enjoyed the cool air circulation provided at Lin's. I will return with friends. read more

Dinner was fantastic for a buffet . What a selection ! Anyone complaining about the price is nuts. Very clean restaurant. Wait staff was wonderful. Very efficient staff. read more

Pretty much what you expect from a Chinese buffet. Lots of very, very greasy Chinese dishes that taste decent (actually a very good variety of them), some really terrible American food, and a variety of the typical desserts (cakes, fried doughnuts, ice cream, etc.). There's a salad bar and fruit bar, too, which is probably the one area that you can actually easily get food from. Because everywhere else on an early Sunday afternoon was an utter zoo. People all over the place, acting like ravenous beasts that are taking the last morsels of food on the planet. One guy took every crawfish thing from the platter, which was like 30 of them. Gross, rude, and brave all at once. Kids were running around with no adult to claim them in sight. The adults were behaving worse than the kids. I wanted to try the grill, but people were cutting in line, and the line was already 15 people deep. All around a miserable place to try to eat. I took two servings and some dessert and just left. The service was fine, she had our water filled for the short time we were there. The staff seemed to have most of the food replaced quickly at the buffet. Except for the pizza, which looked like children grabbed it, squished it, and put it back under the heat lamp for the entire time I was in the restaurant. If not for the customers, I *might* try Lin's again. But, not likely. read more

I still like Linns. Especially the Mongolian BBQ. What I really dont like is the flimsy small plates and the red plastic cups. Not sure why they think they can't clean the dishes enough to allow us to use. Also they don't have a full buffet. On the service side Julia was awesome. I normally get water and not a soda because it is so hard to get a refill. This is at all Linns. Julia was very attentive and nice. I normally don't give tips because of the fore mentioned facts but this time I did. She earned it. Give her a raise. read more

Food is okay, a little overpriced. But my main concern is that it's filthy. Trash bins overflowed with garbage, toilets super dirty and unusable. And when I told the front desk manager about it, he totally ignored me and they didn't get cleaned in the 30 minutes I was there. read more

Stopped in for lunch just a FWIW: I seldom if ever try this type of place for dinner as they are usually filled with either the king and queen of a local trailer park or "those people" with their welfare dependents - this is purely an observation while sitting here at lunch I'd say you get what you pay for. Food was hot and decent (I've had better), service was quiet and fast, and despite the fly buzzing my booth, surroundings were clean. Thing to remember: if you came here expecting Asian gourmet at food truck prices, you will be disappointed read more

A party of 6 elderly ladies who all were the guest of the senior lady for lunch followed the hostess.. who wanted to seat us all up a ramp and with already full area away from the food..We stopped and requested the table available within reasonable distance and with Covid away from the other area.. Two in our party are physically challenged and use walker and a cane..After 10 minutes of us all sitting and enjoying our meals..A worker comes over very rudely wants to remove the walker and place it elsewhere by the entrance saying they can't seat people where it was..They did not seat people in the area after much inconvenience and embarrassment to my sister-in-law..for another 10-15 minutes and she was very upset by this..She will be letting everyone who lives in her retirement center the big 500 unit assisted living facility on Broadway. And complaining to the senior citizens council on aging..The point being if people were standing there and she could see the immediate need for her to move the walker or atleast ask her..You just don't single an old lady out to make an example or because we didn't sit in what was a designated area by the server..We know sometimes they share the tips sharing the work load, but if the customer isn't comfortable sitting there, the one could barely walk on a flat surface as it was.. she was 89. they get to sit prior to sitting down which we did..Then 15 minutes later to come back and spoil it by making a fuss..and having the final say..We will never ever be back and this may not be done..Sister in law very unhappy...and relocating her $200 walker near the door was also risky by your employee..If someone had taken off with it would have been very bad or she had fallen ..Atleast this time Lims didn't have the homeless camped out front the door..one other doesn't like this buffet for that reason..Now we have another sad reason not to go back..The food wasn't bad..Whatever happened to customer service and bring right..This time we were.. read more

The owner has a HORRIBLE attitude! She needs to learn what customer service is. We were about to buy food from this establishment when she literally gave us a rude attitude. That's all I and my family need it to take our business elsewhere. The staff is great but I cannot support an owner of a business who doesn't know how to treat her customers or workers. read more

This place is the dirtiest restaurant I've ever been in. Trash and food all over the floor. The restroom reeked. I told management about the restroom but an hour later they still hadn't done anything. A big pile of jello was spilled onto the floor next to our table. I showed the staff but they never cleaned it. People kept walking in it. I'd be surprised if the place could pass inspection. The area around the cash register had dozens of toothpicks on the floor, the staff ignored them. read more

I had eaten here a few times before and it was OK. However this time I had 15 courses counting the five desserts, it is hers was the only thing it was good. LADIES, do your find yourselves some evenings longing for male attention AND hungry?? Well, this is the place for you! Stroll on up to the sushi/Mongolian grill section. There, the Mongolian grill cook will loudly engage you with his seductive double entendres. Although it didn't do it for me personally, and quite frankly, I was pretty creeped out, I must thank him. If it were not for this would-be lothario's antics, I would have certainly gone back for seconds on the sushi and overindulged on the grill; so, one star for saving my waistline a few inches. read more

Lin's Grand Buffet - So much to choice from this was round 1 lol - Buffets Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

I took my son here for his birthday. He has autism, and all he could say about this food is that he prefers the school cafeteria as it is more flavorful. just bland Old people food. What a waste of money. It was so crowded, we could not get a booth. When we complained the 20 something could care less. The 3 times I circled the buffet line there was no seafood left in the containers. I'll never go back, read more

It is like an international buffet. I generally love buffet's. I had a stomach surgery a few years ago and as part of that I haven't been able to eat much food at one time I snack a bunch lol. Anyhow, we came here for a dinner, I thought it was kind of expensive for the food. But they have a grill station, seafood, sushi, lots of Chinese food choices. And some desserts for at the end of the meal. I didnt get a steak, I love steak but they had a line going and like I said I cant eat a bunch of food lol. I had some sweet and sour chicken, the sauce was really runny but had a great taste. I also did some sausages with rice and it was good also. The egg rolls were good also. Over all everything tasted really good, it isnt a buffet from vegas or anything but it's a decent place. read more

If you come to Lin's, make sure it's during the weekend where the food will be fresh. Most Chinese places or pretty gross, but Lin's hits the nail on the head. I was really disappointed in the quality of the food, since I have been here other times and the food was great before. The food was cold and tasteless like it had been sitting there for hours. Very bad customer service. They choose the table for you. When I told the lady that I wanted to choose my table she got upset and she answered me sit down where you want to sit in a bad way. In one quick sentence. It is your standard buffet. As expected with a new restaurant...There was a long line, but we got in quick since it was just two people dining. Most people where in groups of 6 or larger. Service for water and table clean up was poor. Again this is because they are new and super busy. I expect it to get better. Now for the food. The taste was what you normally get at a Chinese buffet. Nothing was spectacular or made me say "Wow!". I did throw out a few "mmmm"s on the crab puffs, Kung Pao Chicken and the sushi. Along with your standard dishes, such as fried rice, sweet sour pork, beef and broccoli and the stuff for the kids like pizza, there were a some stuff I never see like enchiladas, sauteed sausage, jalapeno poppers and apple pie. The place was nice looking and the lay out was nice. There is a enough room in the buffet isles for 2 lines of thinner people...which isn't me. The flavor to price ratio is really low. The dinner was $25.59 for two dinners and water to drink. Soda was $2. I passed because I knew I would most likely never get a refill. A lot of restaurants will taste their best on the first week of being open and slowly starts to lose their taste due to shortcuts and such. If this place follows that rule, it is going to be really bad tasting. I might go back if I need a fix, but I am not a hurry to eat there again. I wish I could suggest a place instead of Lin's but I can't. Tucson needs a good buffet. read more
