We booked the hotel for 3 nights for my wife birthday with calm, relaxing and tranquility in mind. At $900 a night we were expecting something different. We booked on booking.com and the photos are very deceiving. The room was actually pretty small and no fire place when it shows on every single photos when we chose the room. First night we arrived fairly late driving from the South Bay, we arrived to a bedroom a lot smaller than expected and baby screams throughout the night. A wedding was booked that weekend unfortunately for us so no calm and quiet and lot of people on the property- maybe privatizing the hotel for a wedding will be great for the guest that are trying to make it restful The price on the property and around are just gauged to the max $300+ for a very basic massage . Overpriced overhyped, when Bay Area money spoiled a beautiful place...

Came one night for pizza dinner!!! We got two personal sizes (2 toppings each) and it fed our family of four! The pizza was absolutely delicious!!! The menu is basic items you can find at most places in the area. We ordered fish and chips, and fish tacos from the walk up window. The only seating for the cafe is outside, however they also have a small coffee shop next door with indoor seating. Overall, the food was just mediocre. We have had these menu items at other places nearby, so we felt like we were able to make a good comparison. The fish in the fish and chips order was heavily breaded and over fried to the point that the breading was hard. Fries were average. My fish tacos had small pieces of fish that were heavily breaded and overly-fried. Large pieces of cabbage were scattered over them, and some sort of green sauce drizzled on the top. Not much taste. The tortillas were soft with good flavor. The venue is lovely, as is the gift shop and coffee shop, bathroom clean. I'd go back to the coffee and gift shop, but would pass on another meal from the cafe.
