I remembered coming here over 10 yrs ago. The place is still here and the bakery is still sooooo good. Pizza and burrito were delicious, too.

Everything I tried at this place was amazing. First day I tried Cream Puffs and cookies. Pizza is great, too. Next we tried the burritos and Conc has. Delicious. Traveled 4 hours and found this gem in this tiny town. Don't be fooled by the outer appearance. Inside the food is fabulous.

Old freezer burned cheesecake. Gelatinous blueberry blob that tasted like old refrigerator smell.

Best burritos and pizza in the area. Bakery is also very good. I haven't tried the burgers but those are next.

I noticed a queue outside of Franny's, so I just got into line and waited, not even knowing what I was waiting for! Let me tell you, this review is coming almost 2 years later because the baked good I discovered here was so delightful and so life changing that it has resulted in an insatiable obsession for me. I went up to the counter finally and, feeling overwhelmed by the selection and display case, asked the cashier what they would recommend. I ended up with a croissant, a cookie, and the cashier-recommended canneles. I didn't even eat the cannele until the following day, and it was pure bliss. Cute little pasty about 2in tall with a crispy, caramelized experiour and moist custardy 'cake' on the inside. I had never eaten anything like it. To this day, I search far and wide for canneles and will go to great lengths to secure them. They are a rare delight simply because of the artistry and precision and expensive tools/ingredients required to make them. Franny's has a special spot in my heart for introducing me to the magical little pastry, canneles. For that, Franny gets all the stars!
