Fresh super hot coffee and let me try it in advance. It's rare to get coffee out that isn't bitter and this place serves the best. My choice was the organic Honduran house brew by the front door. Whitecap is a great little coffee shop right off highway 1, we stopped by to grab some morning drinks before pickleball. I ordered an iced matcha latte while everyone else ordered the house chai latte... I clearly made a mistake because the chai latte was astronomically better than my matcha latte! My husband and I stopped by here on our honeymoon. I had bookmarked a couple of coffee spots to try out. I knew there wouldn't be many coffee shop options due to the location (it is the North Cali Coast, after all). When we arrived, I asked if the barista could make me a shot so I could taste the espresso. Yes, I am a bit of a coffee snob. It was delicious! We ordered our drinks, got some pastries, and then enjoyed the atmosphere. Great coffee, good pastries, good service! If you're up in the area, definitely give it a try! read more

It's a quaint little shop, offering a decent amount of drinks, some unique frozen options as well. The drinks were average though, not very strong flavor. But they did have games scattered around the shop to play while you wait, and it was a nice environment. They also had some pastries available, but they weren't amazing. read more

Tried the drip coffee here, it was delicious. The inside of the cafe looks really cute, but understandably you can't go in due to COVID. There's a great spot with a bench just across the street where you can sit and stare at the beach views. Staff was amazingly friendly and gave us some helpful tips on how to find the best dog friendly beaches in the area. Also the location is very convenient right off of HWY 1. I'll definitely be back here the next time I pass by :) read more

The service is amazing and genuine, the chai tea latte is delicious with beautiful latte art, and there are some nice board games inside to play. Used to come here back when it was the Blue Canoe and it has now been reopened with new owners. The Chai recipe is still the same and is the best in a 100miles for sure!! Love the new interior design and seating arrangement. They have a small selection of bagels and pastries as well. Chai connoisseurs....don't miss this coffee shop! Also, be sure to order your chai "for here" so you can enjoy the full monte. "Secret recipe" passed down from Blue Canoe. I ordered mine extra hot with whipped cream, and enjoyed it in this cozy location with the delicious secret lemon sugar spice rim. You won't get the rim if you order to go. We stopped in since we were staying right around the corner and we love coffee shops. The mocha my husband had he said was very good and I had the chai latte and it was very good! There was the right amount of espresso to the amount of spice/chocolate. I got my chai latte in a mug and was surprised with a ring of sugar and cinnamon around the lip! Such a nice touch!!!
