Bought a memorable bottle of champagne at the village store for a very memorable NYE on the coast, where a colossally high tide joined us for the celebration. Veuve Clicquot + driftwood + high tide + private beach + moonlight + NYE =love. (amazing selection!)

Storefront

Stopped here to stock up for a weekend on this part of the coast recently. Lots of good stuff to be had: the usual snacks and wide array of beverages, along with a large selection of Gluten Free items! Plus the person running the register was very helpful: I needed to make a phone call, but being on AT&T there is no service in this part of the coast road. No problem, she dialed on her work phone and got me connected, problem-solved!

I tried the French dip and it was delicious. The au jus added the perfect amount of flavor. The salad that accompanied it per my request was also delicious. You can also choose to have fries instead- with multiple choices (garlic, truffle and more). I enjoyed a bloody Mary, which was made from scratch. The restroom is clean and unisex, and the decor is fun. I sat at the bar, but they do have an outdoor patio with a ton of seats. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

The decor is eclectic, which many interesting things displayed everywhere. On our first visit, we started with a bowl of New England Clam Chowder ($13). This was great! It was thick with clams and even passed my "spoon test", which is being able to support the spoon standing vertically in the soup without falling over. It passed the test due to the thick soup with lots of clams. (See photo). We each had the Chicken Pot Pie ($22) from the daily special menu. This was delicious and thick and topped by a puff-pastry like thick topping. They also make Irish Coffee ($11) that was perfect. Just as good as the Buena Vista Bar in San Francisco (where this cocktail was invented). On our second visit, two nights later, my wife had a French Dip sandwich with sweet potato french fries ($22). She found it enjoyable and very good. I had a Patty Melt ($22) which was delicious. They make an espresso martini ($14) that is delicious! On both visits, the service was quick and friendly. Note: This places charges a 3% fee to pay by credit card.

My husband and I stayed at the Stanford Inn back in 2025 to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary, and my goodness! It's going to be really hard to beat. The Raven's Restaurant was so convenient being only a few steps away from our room. The views from the dining room are breathtaking. You either get a view of the garden and ocean, or a view of the Big River. Both are amazing! Breakfast is complimentary for those staying at the Stanford Inn, and like other reviewers have mentioned, the portion sizes are large! The food is nutrient dense, so you feel satiated after only eating half of it or so. Our breakfast would also double as our lunch, so that's two meals in one! What a win! Plus, the service was top notch every time. We felt taken care of every step of the way. I am vegan and my husband is not vegan, however, he enjoys and appreciates vegan food. There have been some vegan restaurants that we've gone to where he was not a fan, but he was so pleasantly surprised and happy with all the food at Raven's Restaurant. We especially loved the scones and looked forward to each morning trying a new flavor. They were all so delicious and moist, not crumbly and dry. None of their items were too sweet or too salty, which was amazing for people who are sensitive to those flavors. My husband and I just booked another getaway in a couple weeks and we are counting down the days to be back and enjoy Raven's Restaurant again!

We tried a few dishes including the seasonal vegetable plate, a grain bowl, and their pasta, along with a couple appetizers and salads. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, but overall it felt a bit uneven in terms of flavor and execution. Service was good and the atmosphere is very calm and scenic, especially given the inn setting. A good option if you're staying at the Stanford Inn or want a fully vegan meal

The staff were super friendly and the location/views you couldn't complain! We were offered to sit inside or outside and sat outside with shady umbrellas so it was very nice scenery. The staff was super nice and had great recommendations! But the food and drinks were super fresh! I ordered fish and chips and it was the best in the area. The fish was fresh, light, and not heavy with grease at all. I could tell the fries were homemade along with the tartar sauce. My partner eas craving classic eggs benedict and he got exactly what we was looking for. The sauce, the English muffins, and the eggs were perfectlly cooked! The potatoes were not greasy at all. They check in on you at your table and make sure your drinks are always full. Their hot coffee drinks in the morning also were fresh ; there was not one thing we could complain about we wanted to order another round of food it was good with a very vast menu! Price wise for two people was very very reasonable we spent about 80 bucks including coffee drinks and dessert so if you're looking for reasonable and budget friendly this is it!! This place is a must and we were so sad we saved this place for last while leaving Fort Bragg. We will be back and HIGHLY recommend stopping by here for the service and food!

The concept couldn't be more perfect. Grab a fresh, wood-fired pizza, head a few minutes down the road, and boom... you're eating an incredible meal at the beach. Honestly, that's about as close to a perfect California afternoon as you can get. The pizza was exactly what we hoped for: a beautifully blistered crust with just the right amount of chew, quality toppings that let the ingredients shine, and that unmistakable wood-fired flavor that makes every bite better than the last. Simple, fresh, and absolutely delicious. What I really loved was how relaxed the whole experience felt. No fuss, no pretension--just great pizza made by people who clearly know what they're doing. It fits the laid-back Mendocino Coast vibe perfectly. Sometimes the best vacation memories aren't made at fancy restaurants. Sometimes they're made by grabbing an amazing pizza, finding a scenic spot by the ocean, and watching the waves while trying to decide if you should have ordered a second one. Next time we're in the area, this won't be a "maybe." It'll be one of our first stops. 5 STARS! #ShopLocal

Walk down the path between the two yellow buildings, surrounded by lush foliage, and it feels like you've stepped into The Secret Garden. The seating is thoughtfully scattered throughout the gardens, offering a mix of sunny and shaded spots. The main gathering area has the most tables, so it can be a little livelier with conversation. I'm a bit sensitive to noise, so we wandered down one of the smaller garden paths and found a table beside a raised garden bed. It was the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful flowers, herbs, shrubs, and trees, with little birds stopping by throughout our meal. We had a small miscommunication with our order, but the staff handled it immediately with kindness and professionalism. The customer service was exceptional and made us feel genuinely cared for. The pizza was outstanding--an easy 10/10. We ordered the Burrina along with a cheese and pineapple pizza for our little one. The combination of spicy salami, fennel sausage, creamy burrata, and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar was absolutely delicious. Every bite was balanced and full of flavor. Between the incredible food, attentive service, and peaceful garden setting, Brickery Pizza is a place I can't wait to return to. It's one of those spots that feels just as special for the atmosphere as it does for the meal.

The server was so sweet and warm that I actually invited her into the conversation at my table twice. The ambience was relaxing and the chairs comfortable. Cons: The sauce and toppings on the pizza tasted like they were out of a can. I expected the mushroom to taste like a local rich fungi, but I was disappointed. The ricotta spread on the ricotta toast appetizer was rich and not to my liking. I left most of mine on the plate. The chocolate desert was tasteless and disappointing.
